So I made a spur of the moment decision on a Sunday to get my hair done. Wasn’t sure what I really wanted when I left my house. When I tried making appointments across town this was the last place I tried since everyone else was booked and they told me they’d be happy to squeeze me in, awesome! So I arrived at this location which was 30 minutes from where I live but I can tell you it’s worth the drive! I met Kate and Emily who were more then fantastic! Kate helped me pick a great new color and I’m absolutely in love! She even made me some tea which was great! She helped me decide what cut to go with and was great to chat with. Not to mention her head massage while she rinsed the color out was so relaxing! Then I went to get my hair cut by Emily and she was the sweetest! She did an amazing job at taking my indecisiveness and turning it in to a masterpiece. Emily even listened to my sob story of a relationship and actually cared and gave me advice. Overall I did a pretty drastic change from my previous style and was pretty nervous. It turned out above any expectations I had! I had cut my hair short once before years ago and ended up hating it two weeks later and Emily told me if this happened again to come in and she would do whatever she could to have me love my short hair for as long as possible. Seriously go to Kate and Emily they are the absolute best!

Absolute best! I’ve been going here for about 4 years. For color, I always go to Nahpi. I’ve tried various colors with different undertones and she gives her honest opinion and expertise with the color, type of hair and what would look best on me. I’ve recommended her to all my friends for all over color, emergency fixes, highlights and lowlights. I trust her with everything! For cuts, I go to Jon Bravo(yes, real name) or Lisa. Both of them have done amazing with my hair and don’t try to up sell products.

I made an appointment with Toni & Guy while staying in Colorado Springs for a wedding. My stylist was Emily and she was very nice. I showed Emily what I wanted done with my hair(big, bouncy curls and height/volume) she said«No problem! Let’s do it!» and I applauded her enthusiasm. I told Emily not to be afraid to use mass amounts of hairspray and make my hair bombproof. I know how my hair is, I have a lot of it, and well… it has a mind of its own. 1. Not nearly enough spray was used on my hair while the curls were going into it. They didn’t hold well. 2. She did ok teasing it up but it was VERY boxy when she was done(hardly any in the back was done and a lot on the left side but overall it was really uneven) and I told her this and while fixing it she took some of the volume out… ok a lot of it. Anyways, I paid and left after an hour and 15 minutes of having it styled; no wash, etc.(I told you I have a lot of hair) and within an hour, my hair was flat. I’m from Ohio and we have a lot of humidity and even in humidity I have to use a lot of spray to maintain curls and volume. I gotta say I was expecting a lot better results and if I’m ever back in town, I won’t be going back to Toni & Guy based on that however, customer service was EXCELLENT. All staff were very friendly and the salon was clean.

This review is for Ariana. She is amazing! I’m from California and was looking for a stylist with some mad skills. She is incredibly professional, listened to what I wanted(color correction), and fixed my hair. Whenever I am back in Colorado, I will definitely be going back to her.

Tony and guy is the only place I’ll get my color done. Julien has given my hair the look I’ve always wanted while making sure it grows out nicely. I’ve seen other colorist and liked my results but nothing grows out the same as when Julien does my hair. He is laid back and always an open ear to listen. The salon is kept clean and does not smell of due. Every face is welcoming and smiling. I’d never had a bad experience with the front desk or any of the other staff. The shampoos are always great with awesome head massages. The customer service is more than worth the money. They staff is trained to handle any need so don’t be afraid to speak up.

I have been going to this Toni & Guy for years, and I won’t go anywhere else. Nahpi is amazing with color. She did a great job when I was a brunette and did an amazing job transitioning me to a beautiful blonde. Need a cut too? See Kenny. Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else. They are all great listeners and very well trained.

I’ve had a good experience with the quality of haircuts and styles at TONI&GUY, but that should be expected when you’re paying three times the cost of a typical haircut session. They told me that they offered free touch-ups, so two weeks after my haircut, I made an appointment to go back in for a trim/touch-up. When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist I previously had was not in, so no one was interested to help me. Finally, one of the stylists sat me down and rushed through the haircut, sighing and acting impatient. She was in a hurry to shoo me out of there. I was done in less than 10 minutes. I felt bad so I still tipped her $ 5 for essentially three snips. The following day, I had to go to another hair salon and paid for another cut. Not worth it!

Tried to call more than once around 8 pm last night to set up an appointment, but no one wanted to answer the phone. Fortunately, I called again this morning and they got me in. Emily dyed my hair, and Dylan cut it. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted but they are both extremely knowledgeable and helped me figure it out pretty quickly. The last few times I’ve had my hair done it wasn’t done right so I was hesitant to do anything but I am so happy that I did!!! I will absolutely recommend them both, and go back. :)

I know it is hard to find someone to listen to what You want. I had that with my last person who is out of state. I sat in the chair here with a picture of exactly what i wanted. I didn’t get it or even close. I even told her it is not what i asked for and she suggested i go home and wash it and see how i like it. I hate it. I was a total brunette and i have so many bad blonde highlights now i feel like i could have done a better job in my own kitchen. I would suggest you really make sure the color person understands what you want. Not what she thinks you need.

Love this place. I feel like I get better cuts and color here for the same price or cheaper than most other salons. I’ve wondered if its because their stylists are split into doing only color and cuts, so they are more experienced in one or the other?

Went in for an all over color and had Julienne as my colorist. He was very pleasant and pretty awesome! I’m very satisfied with my color outcome and definitely recommend going to him for any color job. He also has amazing hair lol.

I have never been more satisfied with a hair salon as I have been with TONI&GUY. I started going here back in 2012 and will never go to another hair salon(if I can help it). I was very impressed that although 2-years had passed since I last went there(I was stationed overseas and living elsewhere) they still had my name, the colorist, and stylist /hairdresser I had on file. When I called to make my appointment the receptionist asked if I would still like to see Bridget and John. I couldn’t hide my excitement that they were still there! Being in the military, more often than not most stylists aren’t still at the salons I would frequent. John, my colorist, is a genius– he took my vision to the next level. I wanted blonde highlights(I have dark brown hair) and John explained how we could get the color I wanted over several sessions(rather than just zipping my hair blonde in one sitting. He was able to add every shade of blonde imaginable into the highlights he does for me(I go every 6 weeks). I was almost in tears when I saw how beautiful my hair color was. He also wasn’t afraid to tell me that going completely blonde might not be the best idea, he would support and do whatever color I want, but recommended gradual coloring. I like that he was able to let me know what he thought so we could figure out the best color for me. Bridget is an artist– she only cuts as much as I ask her to. I have had stylists in the past that have cut as much or as little as they think they should rather than what I want. Not Bridget, if I want ¼ of an inch cut off, that’s exactly what she does. She evens recommends some styles she thinks will work well with my face /frame. If you want a great color and cut, exactly the way you want it then I highly recommend this salon– please ask for Bridget and John, they are top notch hair professionals, you will NOT leave unsatisfied. I have my next appointment in a month and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for me!

I went in for my first haircut from here yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Charity was to cut my hair, and I asked for the Hitler Youth, and she knew exactly what I wanted and how to do it, and it turned out perfectly. I will be back, especially because they offer complimentary touch-ups.

I love this place except for a few things. I had scheduled a cut and color, saw the girl behind the counter schedule it, my hairdresser saw her schedule it, and I got a reminder card. I called the day before the appointment to cancel and the girl on the phone told me I wasn’t even on the schedule. Strange… Another thing that kinda weirded me out was a stylist who took me when my stylist was out. He massaged my head so hard that it actually hurt. It was throbbing afterwards.

Don’t be fooled by the sleazy shopping mall location. The services are first-rate. John colored my hair and Jillian cut it and they were both perfectionists. They did an excellent job.

This hair salon is fantastic! I’ve been going to Kenny since high school and after a lot of failed attempts by other salons to cut my thick, wavy hair. Since I’ve found him, I doubt I’ll ever go anywhere else again! Even after going out of state for college and now living half way across the country, every time I make a trip to the Springs, I make sure I stop in for a cut. My hair so easy to style and I’ve received so many compliments on my cut. Mega Kudos goes to Kenny McClure. I recommended him to my entire family(dad included!) and they all love his work. I would give him 6 stars if Unilocal let me.

Toni & Guy Chapel Hills is THEBEST hair salon in C. Springs. Don’t even try arguing with me, cause I will argue you into the ground. Entering Toni & Guy is like entering this little mecca of beautiful people, where to hip and funky spend their days. I love the staff– all of ‘em! Mostly I love Dylan though, because is he always so far ahead of the trends and such a mastermind when it comes to hair. After my first visit(when I asked him to chop off my Peace Corps-grown long locks) and turn me back into a non-hippie and make me ME again, he dutifully listened, asked questions, and turned my head into a work of art. I have really fine hair and find that often I get haircuts that are suited for heavier, thicker hair that hangs very differently than mine. Many hairstylists don’t plan for that… and I end up with variations of the mullet. Not with Dylan. Oh no. But if I did ask him for one I’d probably end up looking good somehow, some way. Through our relationship, Dylan has given me fabulous haircut after fabulous haircut, and once even turned me into Debbie Harry(circa 2005). I like that people from all walks of life and with all kinds of tastes can get a great cut. And without feeling like you’re not hip enough, not cool enough, not rock enough to be in there(Buffalo Exchange comes to mind… when no matter how trendy you are you’ll never be trendy enough for their club). Anyhow, despite the fact that T & G is trapped inside Chapel Hills Mall and in the burb of all burbs… take my word for it. You enter and you’ll come out beautified.
