The burgers here really do live up to the hype in my experience, and you can get one for less than $ 5 dollars for a «small» burger. By the way, their small burger is the size of a regular burger, so don’t be fooled by the name. The burger comes with all the typical fixins, including your choice of cheese. I got mine with their ghost pepper cheese. Let me tell you, if you like a little bit of heat in your food, the ghost pepper cheese is worth a try. I really enjoyed it.
The fries were good, a little on the greasy side, but clearly homemade and fresh. We split a basket of fries between two of us, and it was plenty. They have a solid beer list, and all their beers on tap are from Missouri which I appreciate.
The place itself is MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. Tons of pool tables and TVs, plus plenty of actual seating. There is a patio out back that isn’t too big, but has a few tables and TVs. We sat at the bar, which worked out well for watching the hockey game.
Overall, it was a good atmosphere, good food and all for a decent price. We will be back.

Best burgers in Columbia, and the onion rings are pretty delicious too. Tons of Missouri beers to choose from and lots of tables to shoot on!

We had extended family members in Columbia for other reasons, but looking for a place to relax together. We enjoyed our evening, playing pool and video games as well as some delicious appetizers. We were all very happy to find such a nice place and wish the owners much success.
Reviewing this review, it sounds like a paid review, but absolutely is mine, and true.

Unfortunately BonB’s burger quality has gone downhill since my original review. We don’t go here any longer. When we want a good burger, we go to Shiloh or G&D Pizzaria.

Really disappointed. Mid afternoon…
Lots of tables inside … Not busy at all. We chose to sit outside. Levi was our waiter. We ordered a couple draft beers … Took forever. Finally took our order. Asked for the pork tenderloin with no onions or mustard… Both were on the sandwich when It arrived. Fries were COLD… Asked for a second beer… Took over 10 minutes for a draft beer. The pork sandwich tasted good and it was reasonable price. But I’m giving it a thumbs down…

You would be surprised at how difficult it is to find a place with good mozzies, but this place has figured it out. This is literally the only thing I got based on a reference by a friend… He was right…

One of the most under rated places here in Columbia! The burger and condiments are all incredibly fresh tasting, and the french fries are always perfectly done. The staff is always nice and attentive — the place can get to be pretty loud, so I wouldn’t recommend this as a date spot!

Great food decent tables. The fresh cut fries were great and the burger was perfect. Recommend the Billiards Burger with Ghost cheese.

This place serves one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been back multiple times and always get the spicy hamburger… I think it’s called the roomie. The draft beer selection is also pretty good. I definitely recommend it… But I will say that the cook working when you go well sometimes determine how good the burger is. I just watch for the shaggy headed blond guy and order when he’s cooking

This is a sad story of a place with a great concept that had good professional help in designing a menu that was simple and well executed. The atmosphere is also fun. The problem is a woeful lack of training and management. If you go here when it is not crowded (less than 10 people) you will get a good hot meal that is excellent. If you go anytime it is even close to busy you will have a very bad experience. The cooks, waitresses and managers are very poorly trained and unprofessional. The owner is a good guy that is never there except during the day when it is not busy. He needs to hire a professional manager since it has become obvious he is just looking at this as a real estate investment.
Great atmosphere but do not go here to eat anytime except for an early or late lunch. I am a local and I wish it were better. If you want a good meal go elsewhere. If you want the college town pool hall experience go to Booche’s.
Another irritation is they have a lady with the worst hillbilly accent doing radio commercials. If you have good food and a great atmosphere just hire a few good people and train them.

Came here from Blue Springs just for the famous burger. Me and 2 other guys had nothin to do so we drove out to try it. The fries were awesome, the burger was awesome and so was the service. This is what KC is missing. Getting some white castles for the ride, for dessert! Yummy

Hands down, the best burger you can get in Columbia. Even though the service sometimes has hiccups, you won’t find a better burger anywhere.

I’ve been here a bunch of times for the burgers. I think, on a good day, they make the best burger in town. My wife loves their black bean burger as well. Great place to hang out and shoot some pool, drink some beers and have an excellent burger. Great grilled chicken sandwhich.
Don’t get cocky Billiards, I have had a crappy, dry burger, once. I assumed you were having an off-​night with a new cook or something. I won’t hold it against you though. I will definately come back.

The best burgers in town: they’re juicy and you can dress them up with lots of toppings or just keep it a simple cheeseburger. Either way, they’re delicious. The fries are fabulous too.

Best Burger in town! No contest. Not all sloppy like Five Guys. Great place to kill some time. The new patio out back is one of Columbia’s best kept secrets.

If you are looking for cheap food, cold beer, a screen to watch the game and a pool table to keep you occupied this is the place in Columbia. Hamburgers are fresh, hot and hand formed. No processed meat by-​products served here.
Personally my favorite part of the meal is the fries. They remind me of the fries I used to get at the Medina county fair in Ohio. Thin cut, flash fried, salty fresh potatoes. I like to add a bit of vinegar and YUM!
My biggest complaint – the bar staff isn’t that friendly or helpful. They don’t provide table service during certain hours, and once let us sit for nearly 10 minutes without mentioning that we would have to come to the bar and order.
In spite of the pool hall moniker, it is generally a family friendly place before 8pm.

I want to preface this review with the fact that I am a huge foodie and Columbia, Mo is such a hard place to find good food. Perhaps this is why I love this place so much, a jewel in the rough. So I HIGHLY recommend going here if you are in Columbia, MO.

This is THE BEST burger I have ever eaten and after moving out to San Francisco, the one thing I miss about Columbia. So much better than inn n out even!
Please please please try their burger and the fries are pretty damn good to (although the best fries are in KC at Cigar Box).
Lastly, my fiancé and I wanted to visit all our favorite places in Columbia before we graduated in May… we went to get a Boulevard and Burgers at Billards about four times that week… yep, that good!

A fun place! It gets 5 stars just for the delicious sweet potato fries and aoili. The atmosphere is casual, but good for a pool hall. There’s an interesting mix of people, too.
