Quick, Easy, and delicious! If you’re in the mood for tacos it’s definitely the only place to go around here. Fresh ingredients, prepared directly in front of you, by very friendly people! Perfect stop on your lunch break as you are normally in and out within 5 – 10 minutes.

The best burritos & taco salads! Carry out only, friendly staff. Just down from Hinkles, best Mexican in Columbia area.

If u moderate ur expectations u will be pleased. If u r expecting authentic Mexican food this is not the place. That being said, the food is tasty, the place is clean and the owners are nice and hard working. Quick, simple Americanized Mexican food.

This place was awesome. Excellent and cheap tacos, burritos, etc. I recommend it to anyone. This place is only for carry out but don’t let that stop you from going there. The only thing that I wish was different was that they were open longer in the evenings.

If you’re looking for an authentic taqueria, this is not it. When I(a California native) first moved to the Northeast, this is precisely what I expected to find for Mexican food in the region: big, store-bought flour tortillas(or taco shells out of a box) with a glop of Rosarita’s refried beans out of a can and Pace salsa from a jar – exactly what your typical gringo does at home on Taco Tuesday. (Fortunately, my expectations about Mexican food in Central PA turned out to be far from reality, and there are plenty of excellent examples of authentic Mexican cuisine as well as the big, over-stuffed Mission-style burritos common in California – even within just a few miles of Columbia.) That said, for what it is(and what it purports to be), it’s reasonably decent, and the service is quick and friendly. But for locals who rate this place highly and think it’s anything remotely south-of-the-border, do yourself a favor and check out the tacos at Tres Hermanos in Mount Joy or, if you want a juicy burrito, even Neato Burrito in Lancaster. 2.5 stars out of 5 – I have to round down to 2 stars here just because, despite the friendly service, it’s really hard to say that store-bought beans and tortillas are worth buying from a restaurant.

So there is this little taco place where I live in Columbia, Pa called Taco to go. Today, I decide to try it out for lunch while I was out with my wife shopping in the downtown hitting our local businesses downtown and in the Columbia Market House. Mind you there is no seating so foods are to go and it’s cash only which was no problem since I scoped the place out ahead of time… Quaint lil biz with exposed bricks, antique soda cooler, old time cigarette machine(decoration only) and other nickittie stuff placed well. First, thing I noticed was the place is very clean that’s a big plus in my book… We were greeted with a «hello» and friendly smile by the owner Mark. We got into a conversation with mark with him telling the history of Taco to go. Here to find out they have been current location for 3YEARS since moving from Market house! Never new that and I’ve been going pass the place thinking it’s just another place that went empty. Well we checked out the menu you can get all the classics taco, burrito, quesadilla, a walking taco if you can’t wait to get home to a chili dog. There are more items to choose from but I don’t want to take surprise out of for when you go and you will have to check them out for yourself… I was surprised how reasonable the prices are too… So if anyone knows me I have to try a variety of things especially a new place to me. We order. Most items you get a choice of chicken or beef. Sue gets a burrito with beans. Now my turn… I get 2 tacos(1 soft shell chicken &1 hard shell beef), and a beef quesadilla(which take a few minute to cook so order first if your getting one). Mark bangs out all the food in no time at all. Before we knew it we were asked what toppings we wanted and man do you get toppings! For all we ordered it was under $ 13.00. We fed four adults with what we got and the food is delish and on my Satuday shopping route to stop. If you get a chance to stop do. The food is delish and reasonable… I will be back!

One of my favorites!!! Cleanest place I have ever been to(watch how often they change gloves)…we go there at least once a week(will probably be more often now that summer is here) …everyone else makes chicken quesadillas with only 1 tortilla and folds it over — these guys give you a full size quesadilla(2 tortillas) and load it with whatever you want for only 3.50…they do not charge for extra salsa and sour cream… my husband always gets the tacos and says that Taco Bell sucks compared to these… Cash Only, Take-out only… We usually grab our food and go down the street to the Riverpark and eat along the river

Amazing fresh tacos, salads, and other mexican treats! The owners are super friendly and will customize everything the way you want it. It reminds me of a subway for tacos and Mexican food. No bathroom and cash only but they are just starting out. The food is always fresh and tasty which is the most important!

Open Wednesday — Sunday 11 – 7. This place is for pickup only, you can’t actually eat there but do not let that deter you. Excellent, cheap, fresh tacos(hard and soft, beef or chicken) for only $ 1.50 each. They also have quesidillas and a few other items like nachos and taco salad. It’s great to get a new place in Columbia!
