First time here on new years eve. Made reservations at 6 and was seated at the worst table in the house. It was a full house so we could not move anywhere else. It was in the middle of the front walkway foot traffic. How could you seat people at the table? It was so rude to have people that were waiting for their table pile up around our so call table. Very uncomfortable and embarrassing. We spent close to $ 100 and feel mistreated. Food was fair. Mashed potataos tasted like the ones you get from $ 1 box. Service was fair. Note that the servers had way more tables than they could handle. Overall being seated in a so called table in the main walkway ruin my first and last experience with this place. Way better options at Easton besides this place.

Plenty of bar seating and they have a nice selection of wine and cocktails. The menu appeared to have some good options, but we only had drinks.

You’ve been warned: Not good for groups. Perhaps good for couples; or maybe, parties of four. Our group of 18 had a miserable experience. How badly did Bön Vie Bistro fail? They comp’d everything but the(pre-paid, group resv) entrees; for everyone… And invited us to drink for free, at the bar, after the meal. What failed? Virtually everything. Management failed. Hostess failed. Bar service failed. Service failed. Kitchen failed. No, I am not exaggerating. Remember, they comp’d the apps, dessert and after dinner libations. The use of the words Bistro, roquefort and pom frites … does not make a restaurant«French.» Typical corporate/committee/focus-group menu. I will not recount all the failures, just the more glaring ones: Arrived @ 7PM for an 8PM resv. We were directed to wait in the bar area. But no stools were open at the bar and the bar waitress didn’t want us sitting at her 2-tops since those were for solo diners and couples. The remaining area was insufficient to accommodate 18 without seriously inconveniencing a lot of people(staff & customers). We were not seated at 8PM. We were finally seated at 9:15pm. Mgt commented that groups are«very difficult» for restaurants. Then why take group reservations at all? Once seated, the servers declined to take drink orders; wanting our entrée orders. WTH? The food came out hodgepodge over the next 20 – 75 minutes. Waitstaff frequently did not know who ordered what dish and were left to shop the entrée from person to person. Three in our group were waiting for entrees while most of the group was finishing dessert. One of the three ordered a steak, well-done … but it was seared/raw and no time for a redux(teenage baby sitter commitments and a 90 minute drive). I did not order dessert, but was served a sad excuse for ice cream, mostly melted lumpy liquid in a shallow bowl. Whoa. I did not order this. It was shopped to others … 5 oz. and 8 oz steaks were the same size. Single vodka tonic and double vodka tonic were the same size and same taste. Crab cake entrée portion is really an appetizer portion — think two small meatballs. Crab cake(balls) were both delivered in their own little puddles of oil. The interior is mostly hard surfaces. Very noisy in the main dining and bar areas. … and; no TP in the Men’s Room. The only entry on the plus side of their ledger was that they knew that they had failed us and comp’d the apps, desserts & liquor without much whining or grousing from us. Bravo Brio Restaurant Group should: — Shutter this operation for 3+ days of training — Decline reservations for parties larger than four. — Have professional trainers on-site to supervise until the local staff demonstrates competency.

Stopped in today for lunch. Ordered the wedge salad and lobster bisque. I got the Parmesan ranch dressing instead of the listed vinegarette on the suggestion of the waitress/barmaid. I’m so happy I did. The dressing mixed with the blue cheese crumbles and bacon was an incredible flavor. Was very delicious. I was almost tempted to order a 2nd one. The bisque was decent. It was creamy and rich. But a little light on the meat. I guess I might be spoiled on the lobster bisque at the boardwalk in put-n-bay. But I will order it again.

My husband & I came here for our anniversary. We were treated like royalty. I can’t say enough about the staff and management. It’s always wonderful but tonight was extra special. Thank you to the staff for everything. The food is always perfect. You must come here when in Easton. Joseph was wonderful!!!

Needed a break in a shopping episode. So we dropped in for Steak and frites, a nice chopped salad, and a couple drinks. I think we caught a happy hour because the special drinks were nicely reduced. Service started out a bit abrupt, but we tuned him up and it all worked out. It was a VG break and the choices we made were perfect. Bathrooms were well tended, thanks for that.

Decided to pop in tonight for happy hour while I waited in my daughter after work. You definitely can’t beat the prices on the Bar Bites Menu! I had the Roquefort Frites, The Chicken Flatbread and the Peppered Shrimp(my first time trying the last two). The Chicken Flatbread was so delicious!!! It had the right amount of spice and flavor. The fries are always great but I really only at the shrimp. I could of did without the bread in that dish. Last but not least the waiter was awesome. I never got his name but his service was great!

After living in Columbus for many years I finally made it in here. Definitely was not what I expected and not worth the money. I ordered the crab cakes which came with potatoes and vegetables. The veggies were cold and the crab cakes were the tiniest crab cakes I’ve ever seen! They tasted very oily. Not worth the price of $ 18.95. Husband ordered the shrimp and filet. He said it was alright. Our waiter was great and super attentive. I think the restaurant could use a face lift. For what they charge it doesn’t look very upscale on the inside. Columbus is a big foodie town and there are way more better options to eat at than this place.

During my time in Columbus, I’ve always lived on the northeast side — Bön Vie has literally been right under my nose. Somehow, I never went there. But now that I have finally discovered it, I am pro some things, con some other things, but overall, I like. Their happy hour is the real find. Sit at the bar, have yourself a few glasses of $ 5 wine(the sangria is really good there) and sample some bar bites for as low as $ 3.95 each. I’m talking sliders, fish and chips, shrimp and flat bread. $ 3.95! Believe it. You can catch these great deals at two different times: 3pm-7pm and 7pm-close Mon-Fri. The catch is you have to sit in the bar area. Not great — it can feel a little crammed — but not terrible. I will say the first time I went to this happy hour the size portions were larger than the second so you might have to order a few plates — or an actual meal — if you’re really hungry. If you want a full blown meal, there’s diversity in the menu at good value. The beauty of the place is on its patio where you can enjoy the rush of Easton from afar, and settle in for pretty good people watching. The inside of the restaurant has a nice romantic feel, this is a quality place for an evening date.

What can I say about Bön Vie except Vest Manifique! It’s in a nice area right across from Louis Vuitton and Tiffany’s in The Easton shopping center. And it’s right on the corner. Their patio us the perfect place to people watch! I had the croque Madame. Which is eggs poached eggs on ham on open face. Croissant With hollandaise sauce And it was delicious. I also had the pear Non-alcoholic soda, which even though it did not have a lot of sugar was refreshing and aesthetically pleasing. I like to go for brunch but they also have dinner and they are owned by Brio’s which is an interesting little tid bit. this is definitely a spot to check out when you are in Columbus.

This one is an easy five stars! The service was great, the manager stopped by our table, and the food is really well constructed. I am going to give top props to the chefs for the recipes as everything we had was first class. Our group of picky foodies stopped in and was not disappointed. My personal favorite: the meatloaf. Rockin. This was our pleasant surprise in Columbus!

Went for brunch here today. Could not complain about anything. Great service, food was excellent and was just what we needed. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my partner ordered the French toast. Everything came out in a timely fashion and hit the spot. Look forward to coming back.

This is one of the restaurants that I always visit when I come back to Ohio for breaks. Their lobster bisque is some of the best that I’ve ever had. They did take my favorite dish off the menu, but the last time I was there they were able to make it. The entrée was crab mac & cheese and the breadcrumbs on top really just made it perfect. We always go on Wednesdays because of the $ 5 martinis. They are wonderful! This restaurant has a perfect location and it’s really beautiful to walk around, especially at Christmas time.

It’s your typical all around American restaurant. It’s a nice place to take someone on a date. When I was there, the décor had a nice classy style to it, and they have a nice area outside to view Easton mall. The service was quick, but the food didn’t really stand out for me. My salmon was a bit dry, but still nicely presented. I would recommend their panna cotta dessert because that was the only thing for me. Would I go out of my way to come back? Probably not; however, I would consider as a potential spot to take a date but not as a first choice, or second, or third.

I was visiting from Pittsburgh and Loved it. I sat outside and enjoyed the weather. I had very good service. I had the lobster bisque and chicken salad which were great! I REALLY loved the FRENCHBREAD they gave you with dinner, it complimented the bisque and salad… I asked FORMORE! ;)

Came here for lunch yesterday before seeing a movie. The wine selection is decent, their beer choices are good and the service was attentive. We had the cheese fondue and it was brought out cold, which I thought was odd. The burger sliders were good, the fries were crunchy and not soggy. For being a French restaurant, I didn’t see many items that I would consider French cuisine but whatever. The food I ordered was good and I left satisfied.

After reviewing several different possibilities, my husband and I settled on Bön Vie for our Valentine’s Day dinner. I have to say that the whole experience, pretty much from top to bottom, was fantastic. Admittedly, the parking situation at Easton leaves a fair amount to be desired, but beyond that, I can’t say that I really have any complaints. My husband got the campanelle along with a bowl of French onion soup, and I got the NY strip. Both of us loved our meals along with the complimentary bread that was brought out. This is another establishment that provides very significant portions, so we both ended up with plenty to take home for another meal. Our waitress also brought out a dessert platter from which we chose the berry clafoutis. Neither of us had ever had it before, but I have to say we were very satisfied. And I have to say that the service really was just tremendous. The hosts were pleasant and got us seated quickly. Our server was engaging and attentive. The restaurant was quite busy, but it never felt like we were waiting very long for anything. Also, the person who I assume was the manager came by to talk to us on more than one occasion, and she really helped to make us feel welcomed there. We’ll definitely be going back in the future.

Oh Bön Vie. You never get old. My favorite thing from here is their cheese board. Although not on the menu(I’m not sure why they should definitely rethink that decision) you can ask the server and they can make one for you. The lobster bisque is always awesome and I can never not get it when i go. I also tried the chicken salad croissant the other day. Very delicious! Love this place.

I love coming here when we are shopping. The brunch, Bloody Mary’s and Roquefort Frites are our favorites. We like sitting at the tables in the bar area. The service has always been exceptional. This is one of my wife’s favorite spots. She likes the vegetarian friendly menu and my shopping mood after a couple beers.

Bön, mais pas bon. Viande très cuite, en dépit de poser rouge. Dans cette ville sont vraiment mauvais. Désolé. In other words… I’ve had better steak. Nice service. Steak overcooked. Boo!
