Great service!!! Cheap typical Chinese food you can find at any Chinese restaurant but what makes it special is you see the same people cooking your meals! The nice lady at the counter always remembers what I order!

My wife and I have been searching for our goto Chinese restaurant and we have found it. Even their plain fried rice has a great flavor and serving sizes are filling. We love this place as the staff and customers are super friendly¡

I mean, it’s a life saver for me since I work nearby but it’s maybe not four stars, I was a bit too generous that day.

When you are hungry this place is a Five Star establishment. I live 2 minutes from here, so i find myself ordering from here more or less for the convenience opposed to the quality. Orange chicken 1−5=3. Lo Mein 1−5=2.

A gem of a Chinese take out dive. I live just a couple of blocks away from China Chef and have for years, but didn’t try it until a couple of weeks ago when I was driving home and my husband said«just whatever you pass first.» It was China Chef. When I walked in the bubbly lady behind the counter greeted me and asked what I wanted– I hadn’t even looked at the menu yet so I told her it would take me a minute. While I was perusing the menu– the standard Chinese take out dive menu, a man walked in to pick up his order. He was all-smiles and greeted the woman like they were long time friends. She got his general tso’s and opened it up saying, «we make it just the way you like it– extra hot!» The large and at any other moment intimidating-looking man giggled and told me that he comes here all the way across town, from Franklinton, for China Chef. I ordered what the man had for my husband, the general tso’s and an orange chicken for myself. They can make it to your spice preference and it comes heaping with beautiful and fresh veggies. For a little over 5 bucks you can get a great meal– an entrée, rice(steamed or fried,) 2 crab rangoons and more fortune cookies than you need. It has quickly become a lazy, vegging, movie night tradition.
