Cottage Street

Fantastic little store with great pieces. First time I went in, I wanted just about everything!!! The owner is incredible also, love Cottage Street!

This is a wonderful store in a block that is bustling with amazing home décor/​vintage stores. I think just about every room in my home has some accent from here. I’ve got everything from candles and soaps to pictures, frames, molding and baskets. I have said many times we need to buy a bigger house because I want to buy some of the drool worthy larger pieces like tables, dressers or oh my goodness, those barn doors! As if the wares weren’t reason enough to come back, John and Sue make you feel like family every visit. When you think ‘mom and pop shop’, this really is one! Looking forward to the change of season when new merchandise comes in and I have yet another reason to go back! (As if I need one)

In a world of big box furniture stores with product that won’t last a year let alone a lifetime it’s great to have Cottage Street in Clintonville. Unique pieces and great customer service is the cornerstone on which they built this wonderful business.

I found Cottage Street on Facebook last year & decided to make the drive to columbus to see what treasures we could find! My husband & I fell in love with a dining room set that was perfect for our home! John & Sue are super friendly, helped is carry & load everything & welcomed us into their store as though we were family. We continue to go back several times a year & find some pretty amazing things each time! Now that they’ve expanded their store, there’s even more to choose from! Good luck leaving without buying something!

Always something to charm my can’t-stop-decorating-my-house fever! We’ve found adorable dresser, accent tables, and mirrors and taken them all home. The store is filled with unique furniture and home decorations, it’s one of my favorite places to come hunt.

Ones that snatch up great finds at antique stores, salvage sales and flea markets, then gives said items lots of TLC and some charm to make them into adorable, warm, useful items for your home.
This is one of a handful of stores that does that very thing in the city. There can’t be too many if you ask me.
During HolidayVille this year I had the pleasure of popping in here (and being welcomed by homemade cookies btw) and checking out all their wares.
They have everything from cabinets, to vanities, tables & chairs. I couldn’t help but adore their refinished antique mirrors & chalkboard frames either!
Every nook and cranny had something adorable and perfectly me (and my home style.)
Although I didn’t pull the trigger and buy anything on this trip, I couldn’t help but appreciate the reasonable prices AND of course, inspiration for a few of my almost-​finished DIY projects waiting for me at home.
When it comes time to redecorate or buy a new piece of furniture (or even get more inspiration) I’ll be back. If anything, for those cookies! Mmm! Can you make those every Sunday? ;)
