21 September 2015 around 4:30 I stopped in to check this place out. The dinner crowd hadn’t made it in yet so I was seated immediately. I was given fresh and hot chips with homemade salsa which was really good. The meal came out fresh, hot and fast. Great portions for the money. The waitress was very attentive with my drink. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

First time there, went for lunch, but got there around 230, so the lunch rush was over, but the restaurant still had a decent amount of customers, so I thought that might be a good sign. Got seated, the waiter showed up, took our drink orders, and immediately asked what we wanted??? First time there, and they have a big menu, so no, we were not ready to order, so he stomped off like we were an inconvenience. He showed up with our drinks about 2 mins later, whips out his pad, and asks what we want,…ummm, still not ready buddy, this time he’s really upset, so doesn’t show up to our table for about 15 mins. So we order, get out food, and the plate is sealed in plastic wrap, never seen that before. Food was mediocre at best, service was absolutely horrible, if I could give it zero stars I would, needless to say, I won’t be wasting my money there again.

Best Mexican food in Columbus! Service is fast, prices are fair and the Margaritas are amazing! Wednesday/margarita night is VERY busy and a little loud but fun! I prefer to eat on other nights.

Place was packed but we were seated in about 10 minutes. Ordered for 5 and received our food in another 10 min max. Excellent service and great food. Not to mention 5 people stuffed for $ 40. We’ll be back!

This is by far the worst mexican food I ever had. I am from Southern California and have been stationed in el paso TX. I ordered the chile relleno, it was runny and soggy as in soggy ceral. I also had some hard beans in the refried portion, as if they just threw some raw beans in the mixture. I uderstsnd you may take a traditional dish and put your own take on it, but why would you not skin the chile or cook the non seasoned ground beef all the way? You can usually tell a good mexican resturant by their salsa on a first impression. I think pace salsa from the store taste better. If you own a legit restaurant why would you not use fresh ingredients? I would rather go to a hole in the wall with awesome food, then a nice building with horrible food. I wish i could have given this resturant a «0» star rating. I would NOT recommend this resturant.

My first time coming here, and I loved it! We were seated as soon as we walked in the door and our order was taken very quickly as well. The food was delicious and hot and authentic. I will definitely be coming back!

Really good food and not a bad price. Definitely packed but they do serve quickly and the atmosphere is good. Besides Vallarta off of victory it’s the best Mexican store I’ve ate at in Columbus

Husband had the carnitas which he said was good, but I had steak tacos which came out on a plate wrapped in cling wrap. The onions didn’t seem to have been cooked prior to being put on the taco and the wave of cilantro odor when I took off the plastic was overwhelming. I had to pick out the meat and just eat that, the cilantro was insufferable, the raw onions simply warm, the tortilla stiff. The meat was overcooked, chewy, and the only near-edible thing on the plate. The waitress seemed confused that I didn’t like the meal so lovingly prepared for me. We used to live in Columbus and I remember this place as having seen better days. This is just disgusting and I won’t be back. Please, God, spare me food poisoning from this meal!

This is our family’s go-to place for Mexican – a large party at least once per week. We were visiting from out of town so we all went – 14 of us. We are always greeted by Jaime, the owner, as if we were long lost family. Let me say up front that I had never had Mexican food until I married into this family 37 years ago, and I am still not a fan, expressing that I would sooner go out to the dumpster out back and scape off the sides and eat that, but I have learned that if I am going to live with my wife and her family for the next 37 years that I am going to have to bite the burrito and go with them from time to time. I am never excited to be going to eat Mexican food, and can’t belive I am giving a Mexican restaurant a five-star rating! But, it was near my birthday, and my brother-in-law slipped the word to Jaime, so near the middle of our meal, here came the banditos to sing some silly birthday song in Spanish(no, it’s not«feliz cumpleanos a ti» llke we learned in school,) while placing a large ugly sombrero on my head and taking a picture. Generally, they bring a free dessert with a candle, but Jaime knows us all so well he brought me a pitcher of frozen margaritas instead! After already consuming one grande of the same with my meal, my sister-in-law and I stayed and polished off the rest and fortunately neither of us were driving home! Last time I buzzed this loud was when I was in college! Oh yeah, the food – before I forget, their margaritas are strong and some of the best I have ever had, which makes Mexican food more tolerable to me. But this time, I ordered white cheese nachos with plenty of jalapenos, just the way I like them, on a half order, and an a la carte order of poblanos with a side of guac salad. The two huge poblanos were flavorful and delicious, baked and stuffed with very tasty and well seasoned ground beef that is so different from the questionable ground beef that you sometimes get in Mexican restaurants, and melted white cheese. I think I am becoming a convert! Thanks, Jaime, for making my birthday so memorable with your gracious gift, although I don’t remember much else after that last glass of margarita! :-) Hasta la vista!

My enchilada was decent and service good at the beginning of our night. We were enjoying ourselves at the bar when a lady in sweats with three kids sitting behind us came up and claimed she was the«owner’s daughter» and told us to keep it down. We thought she was out of line and extremely rude so we left. Would rather get cheap, crappy margaritas and chips and salsa at another Mexican restaurant where there isn’t a daddy’s little girl to lecture us for attention.

Solid Mexican. Had steak and shrimp fajitas and it was just a bit over cooked which means chewy. Although chewy it was flavorful with a bit of heat. The menu is extensive with lots of different fajita plates, taco, quesadillas, burritos and such. Something for everyone. Margarita on the rocks was good. Everything was just okay… not bad but average.

Chicken enchiladas don’t deserve more than a 3 star. I was surprised that the guy at the entrance and running register didn’t greet or acknowledge a SINGLE person. I just stood there wondering if I should leave. I saw this happen to every person or party that entered. I wanted to boil my hand after touching the salt and pepper shakers. Service was disconnected and poor. I wouldn’t go back as 2 – 3 star places don’t deserve return visits or any more of my money. Try some customer service training and wake up the wait staff.

Have not been here for a year or so and I found out that they redid the menu. It seems to me that they added more choices and categorized better the food. With such a long menu, it is easier to read it and find what you want. I sticked to the«parilla for two». We got our dishes pretty fast. Food was plenty and flavorful. The waitress was extremely friendly. My only concern is the noise. This place often holds birthday parties. We were right across one of those big tables full of people. At some point, it got to be quite annoying. All I can say is that this place seems to be very popular to celebrate birthdays. so you can imagine the big mess afterwards. So far the best mexican restaurant in town.

To start off with, there is no formal order to seating customers. There is no check in and there is no way that staff is able to tell when customers got there if the seater was not at the front. Needless to say, we were waiting to be seated on a busy night and a group came up behind us pushed in front of us and then was seated before us. This set the night off on a bad note. The menu is reasonably priced and they give you alot of food, but the food seems to be under seasoned. The servers are very polite and quick, however. For me, large portions do not make up for the quality of the food, therefore I did not enjoy my time there.
