Extended Stay America – Columbus – Bradley Park

This place delivered on everything it said it would do. It is not luxurious, but for the price, it is outstanding.
There is an extensive refurbishment ongoing at the property. I was given one of the updated rooms. Very nice. Super clean.
The bathroom was especially good. The water flow from the shower was generous/​abundant — much more than typical of any hotel. Plenty of very hot water. The toilet had some type of air pressure system that evacuated waste extremely efficiently and forcefully and the tank was refilled within a very few seconds. Plenty of room and lots of light. Just an excellently executed upgrade.
The a/​c/​heater was quiet and the thermal controls worked perfectly, responding to the few and subtle changes I made during the week.
The bed was very firm. There were two brand new and modern chairs for the desk and the table provided. There was an additional cushioned chair which was comfortable.
The TV channels were limited, but well chosen. All local channels are available. The one downer is that the signal is standard definition, not HD, for all channels.
The staff responded quickly and happily when I needed a cup or some such for the kitchen and an extra towel. Nothing is provided in the kitchen, save the microwave and refrigerator themselves. Just ask and they will provide.
I can’t speak to rooms which have yet to receive upgrades. It seems that maybe half of them have. If you get a new one, this place will deliver super well. This was my experience. Unhesitatingly, I recommend it to anyone. However, there is no way they will guarantee a new room. It’s catch as catch can when you check in.
