I had gotten greaters on a previous trip to Columbus and had been impressed. When I saw them at Easton town center I was excited and went over to see what flavors they currently have. The employees were all very nice and immediately said to let them know if I want to sample anything. I asked to sample buckeye, peanut butter chocolate chip and Elenas blueberry pie. I was blown away by how delicious all three flavors were and by how generous the size of the samples were. I hate nothing more than when I get an ice cream sample and it’s so microscopic I can’t taste the flavor. They also had no attitude about asking for multiple samples. I debated between one scoop and two scoops. Of course I wanted two scoops but I’m always on a diet and have to be careful. It was so delicious I said screw my diet and I ordered a medium for $ 1 more. The scoops were pretty generous. I got one scoop of buckeye and one scoop of blueberry pie. I enjoyed them both but the blueberry pie was very unique and the flavor stood out more. The graham crust was to die for. I recommend blueberry pie flavor to anyone, just make sure you don’t look at the calories and fat or you’ll be as horrified as I was.

Ordered an 1870 tower and it looked/tasted like trash and the cherry fell onto to the workers hand and he tried to put it back in my cup. Ice cream melted before I could even eat it, sticking with Westerville location. Workers were all sitting around on crates and on phones

The new design is really on point. I had the hazelnut truffle Gelato which was amazing, not too sweet and it had chocolate chunks in it. Also got a scoop of cookies and cream, can’t go wrong with this choice!

OMG… After living in Columbus for over 10 years, it is still my most haunting memory. I long for Graeter’s Ice Cream, but unlike Oprah, I can’t afford to have it shipped on dry ice. The seaonal flavors are freaking amazing. February is my Strawberry Chunk and October is the delicious Chocolate Almond. Never, never, never do I get near Columbus without visiting Graeter’s.

Get the Dark Chocolate Truffle Gelato. It’s soooo good. A small is really all you need since it’s so rich. This location is a stand inside the main building at Easton. They let you sample the flavors before you choose.

If you’ve had dinner somewhere at Easton and want to get a dessert, this is one of your best options. You’re always offered the choice of cone(several different kinds) or cup when your ice cream is dished up. Some of my favorite flavors include toffee chip and chocolate chocolate chip. The chips are more chunky than chippy.

Unbeatable classic ice cream. No insane flavors — what keeps bringing you back is how they make the stuff. The French Pot method results in two things that really make this ice cream stand out from all others — the«mouth feel» of the product, which because it has a low air content means that it is incredibly rich and creamy, and the chocolate chips, which are formed by pouring melted chocolate into the French pot while it is spinning, then creating the chunks by breaking up the now-frozen chocolate with a paddle. You can end up with massive chunks of chocolate in your ice cream!

The best Black Raspberry Chip ever… and the chips are CHUNKS, not just litle chips… YUMMM. The best Buckeye ice cream ever… Are you noting a trend here… Like I said… YUMMMMM!!! What more does a review for an ice cream place need to say???

They have the BEST mint chocolate chip ever! I’m a fan of the flavor but don’t usually eat it that often. When I do, I’m used to places or store bought brands where the chocolate comes as either chocolate shavings/pieces or as actual chocolate chips like in cookies. But the chocolate here comes as chocolate chunks! They are huge bits of chocolate! and not just any chocolate– really delicious, soft chocolate! They also have a frequency card where you get points for every dollar you spend and after a certain number of points you can choose something from a list.

I really, really love ice cream; ask anyone that knows me, I love ice cream so much, I can eat it for breakfast! On one, hot summer day couple of weeks ago, I stopped by Graeter’s inside Easton Town Center and after some much given thought, I went for one of their signature flaors: Black Raspberry Chip. I got a waffle cone with just one scoop of this magnificence. Ice cream was very rich and creamy and had a strong raspberry flavor with silky dark chocolate chip bits nestled all over. Each bite was super rich, by the time I was almost done with it, it was almost overwhelming. I’m glad I only got one scoop, I had to hold myself back. It’s summer and it’s hot, perfect weather for ice cream so why do I need to hold back, right? Maybe because I’m lactose Intolerant… *sigh*… but who cares? You eat some, you lose some, right? =__=(k, that was kinda gross… sorry, guys)… *clearing throat*… anyways, Graeter’s Ice Cream is wonderful; it’s super rich and creamy and the waffle cone I had was fresh. I might go back and try a different flavor once I work up the bravery to face the consequences once again… Even though for the price my one scoop of Black Raspberry Chip on a waffle cone may have bought me a half gallon tub of ice cream at your local grocery store, I think everyone should at least try one time ^___^ All this talk about ice cream has me craving for some more! If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to scurry over to my freezer and get me some«fake ice cream» — for those of you wondering what they are, it’s just«flavored» ice T^T;;;;

Finally after years of wanting to try this place, I finally did! I really enjoyed it. While I should have tried the Black Raspberry Chip, I instead went for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Buckeye Blitz, both of which were great, premium ice creams. The ice cream texture was perfect and wasn’t overly sweet. I loved the chocolate chip process of pouring it into the mixer so that you can get huge chunks of chocolate in some bites. If you’re looking for old-fashioned ice cream, Graeter’s is great!

If I had only know to try their black raspberry chip ice cream I would have! Next time definitely. I had a single scoop of mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone. I have to comment that this is one of the few times i’ve had mint choc chip that was white and not green colored hah! It was a big scoop of ice cream, large enough that they had to give me a cup to keep the ice cream from overflowing onto my hand. I tried their chocolate coconut almond and fell in love with as well. This location was found inside the Easton Town Centre and there seemed to be a continuous small line forming. Who can resist ice cream :)

This is based on my last experience at Graeter’s in Easton Town Center. I have had Graeter’s before and remember it being better. I had the most famous flavor this time – the black raspberry chip. I didn’t really care for the flavor that much. In the past, I’ve had more traditional flavors like chocolate and vanilla and enjoyed it much more. Still, I didn’t really care for the texture. It was a little like taffy and not smooth, light, and creamy. The texture kind of reminded me of the Thrifty ice cream from Rite-Aid(which people rave about). So, maybe it is just a matter of preferences.

Graeter’s Ice Cream has been in existence since 1870. I discovered it in 2006. I am so sorry for my delay. You can only find this stuff in Ohio and Kentucky, which is a good reason to visit Ohio and Kentucky. They use something called«the french pot process», which means nothing to me. Except totally awesome ice cream. They are famous for their flavors and black raspberry chip is legendary. Try it and I promise that you will fall in love…
