I had an Infinity sub-​woofer that suddenly stopped working. Opened it up and saw that the sound card inside was melted and burned to a crisp.
I was pretty sure I would have to buy a new one, but just wanted to see if I could repair it for less. Innovative Media Systems replaced the components for a decent price and got the speaker working again.
However, after I got it home there were still problems with the speaker. It would occassionaly overheat and shutoff. At first, I was upset that I had paid to fix this speaker and was wishing I had just bought a new one. But, to their credit they repaired it again for free. The speaker has been working like new for over three months now.
