Food was average and the place was freezing cold. Had to eat with my jacket on. Don’t eat the chili. It wasn’t good at all.

After seeing posts on Facebook, had to go here to try the new tots with pulled pork. Was not disappointed! Our waitress(Rosie) is probably one of the best waitresses we have ever had at a restaurant. Everything we ordered was perfect and tasted great. The food and service here has us really looking forward to our next visit!

WORSTPLACEEVER!!! Ordered my food over the phone during my lunch break and HEATHERTHEMANAGER said it would be done in less than 10 mins. I got there in 5 mins. The girl asked if I needed to place an order and I told her I had already placed a to go order. That was the last time anyone said anything to me. I sat at the counter for 20 mins and no one even looked at me. So I walked out because my lunch break is only 30 mins. I called when I left and talked to the manager and she had no care in the world about what happened. She laughed and said sorry. Johnny Rockets was my favorite burger place since I moved to Columbus but I stopped going because the service was getting bad but promise to NOT return to that place for as long as I live.

This, as I like to say, is nothing to write home about. If you did try to write home after eating here, your letter would likely be covered in grease and other unidentifiable foods because you’re apparently only allowed 2 napkins per person which, if you get a rocket chili dog, is not enough. Booths were filthy too. Now for the food. Husband got a BBQ Bacon Chicken Melt. He was not a fan. I got the rocket chili dog. I should’ve known just by the name, but also not good. To be honest, I’ve loved the Johnny Rockets franchise for as long as I can remember because of the hip 50s diner feel, but also because they dance. They don’t even dance here. Just not worth your time and definitely not worth your money!

I have been to this location three times and can’t say they hit the mark any of my three trips. This is even giving an allowance for the expected experience at a national chain restaurant. Burgers have been ok but the fries have always been cold. The restaurant its self seems to have an issue as it has always been very warm and very humid each time we have went. Also there seems to be some sort of venting issue with plumbing as I have noticed a less than pleading aroma at times. May have something to do with hvac situation. Staff was pleasant enough

A little late of a review, we have been regulars at this Johnny Rockets. The service has always been decent, and the food usually comes out fast and no «big» complaints But the last time, the servers was surprisingly rude and they all seemed to not be enjoying their job. We got to our table, and one of the other waiters basically refused to put our family of seven at a table other than a four person table. We started to order as we discovered all of the menu and food changes. The all you can eat fries? No, not anymore. With a $ 6.49(or more) sandwich you have to pay an extra $ 2 for unlimited fries. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the entrees don’t come with a side of fries. The food came out, within 20 minutes or so. As we were looking at the plates, the kids meals had more fries than the regular adult meals. The adult meals had less than a handful of fries, with very small portions for the price of the meal.(Remind you, this was dinner and not lunch) as we sat and looked around, I noticed there were no dancing, listening further the music wasn’t even a 50s theme. It was some new style of music. And with little customers, on a non busy day the place was extremely loud. Disappointed with the service, I looked up some CEO information and discovered that there has been a new CEO who has made some corporate changes. The next day, we called another location and they recommended you ate at the place across the street. The burgers used to be wrapped in paper, good presentation and almost mouth watering, and also– we never even saw a manager! really hoping the corporate will direct some future changes, until then we won’t be back.

This place fell off my radar for a few years which I regret. Ended up here before a movie at AMC and enjoyed a classic burger with milkshake and fries. Friendly staff came to take our order and we got our hot fresh food quickly. I might be a chain but it has a lot of personality. I’ll definitely be putting this back on my goto list.

Slow service. We stood in the door unacknowledged for 10mins before seating ourselves at the bar.

I can’t say that Johnny Rockets was any sort of earth shattering dining experience, but it was pretty good anyways. I got a burger and fries, which I imagine is pretty much the norm, and I was satisfied with both.

Occasionally, I crave a Johnny Rockets burger. I stopped in the other day with my husband, realising it had been ages since I had been to this or any Johnny Rockets location. It was around lunch time — it wasn’t too busy and we were able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and polite. We both ordered burgers plus a side to share of bacon cheese fries that were fairly delicious. The burgers were your typical fare, not the greatest burger ever, but definitely hits the spot for the craving. There’s nothing overly amazing about the food or the service, quick and friendly. Basically, this is the type of place that you don’t make a point to go to, but if you are in the area craving a burger, it’s the best option for you.

Overall, the service was not bad. The booths were uncomfortable, and for some reason, it smelled strongly of urine. Also, the tables could have been cleaner. Although it’s a burger joint, I ordered the chicken strips, which I do not recommend — they seemed overly cooked and flavorless. On the bright side, the french fries and onion rings were fresh, but there was nothing special about them — they were extremely bland. The prices were fair in terms of quantity, but the quality was severely lacking. The atmosphere would have been nice if it weren’t for the obnoxious music and the lack of cleanliness. It was not the worst experience that I have ever had, but I would much rather eat elsewhere.

I just had a meal in Johnny Rockets and I had a burger called Route 66 and a side fries. The burger is super tasty with swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and mayonnaise. This burger is named after the iconic, carefree, American Highway. I am a big fan of their burgers now and I am planning to go there again with my friends. Next time i will try the burger called #12 which is a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, iceberg lettuce, white onion, pickles, and special red sauce. I love burger here because they taste like natural and fresh!

System was down so today was cash only. People were very nice about, but food was mediocre. They don’t have the spicy sauce anymore be the chipotle sauce is gross. Chicken was very greasy, slathered in butter/mayo. Bun was wet. Not tasty.

I have eaten at Johnny Rocket several times. I think Johnny Rocket’s hamburger is very delicious. I always order that biggest one with beef, bacon, grilled chicken, vegetables and grilled onion. It looks cool and tastes good. The restaurant’s theme is 1960s fashion. The music, the dressing of waitress and the environment are all very old fashioned. But the dish serves very slow. It often takes 15 minutes to cook and serve the order, sometimes it really make me mad.

Second time here, this time we just did chocolate malt and fries. Wendys would top if you consider the frosty there a malt. Sat at the bar and have never been ignored so much at a bar seat. Made eye contact with our server multiple times to no avail. Getting a refill on the bottomless fries was like pulling teeth with an adjustable wrench.

A good diner with good diner food. It has it all, great sandwiches, burgers, fries, shakes. The service here seems to be always good and friendly. It’s quick food and quick service and a diner atmosphere, the place can be a little loud when it’s very busy.

Decided we really wanted a good hamburger and, while driving around, decided to try Johnny Rockets. I got the route 66 and my boyfriend got the smokehouse double. For a burger place, there weren’t that many different burger options. I didn’t like that most came with iceberg lettuce on them, but that’s more of my own hangup. Apparently the burgers don’t come with any type of side(though you can get unlimited fries for $ 1.50 — but who needs THAT many fries?!). We went with just the burgers. It resulted in a cheap meal, but we were still a bit hungry afterwards. Mine was pretty good. Swiss, mushrooms, and sauteed onions are a pretty good combo anywhere. My boyfriend’s was 2 patties, bacon, a little BBQ sauce, and onion rings. He couldn’t really taste the onion rings. Otherwise, he said it was fairly good. We sat on the patio, which was nice. I was glad they had one. The 50s music inside was blaring and it was less loud outside, which I was grateful for. We avoided most of the«kitschy charm» by sitting outside, but that was a-ok with us. The service was really good up until the end. We sat there for as much time waiting for them to take our check as we did waiting for them the rest of the meal, which is a little absurd. Not sure what happened at the end there. 3.5÷5. Probably won’t be back, but it’s not a horrible option. If you’re into the 50s, it’s probably more your thing.

I only came here because I got some rad coupons in the mail. You have to know this is not the best burger in the world. Standard, a little on the pricey side and great shakes.

It’s a Johnny Rockets. The food is not spectacular, but props to them for offering a veggie burger. It’s a standard frozen Boca burger, so it’s not amazing, but it exists. I wish it came with more veggies on it, since it is, in fact, a veggie burger. But the option to get a side salad is good, and having a salad instead of fries makes me feel better about getting a shake for dessert. Also, I appreciated being able to get a kid size shake instead of the regular that I could never have finished. It’d be awesome to have something a little more nutritious than iceberg lettuce, or something a little more creative than a Boca patty, but again… this is Johnny Rockets. I realize that my expectations may be too high. The service was really slow here, though. I sat for a long time waiting for my server to come back. I don’t think it was her fault – I watched her working really hard nonstop. I think they need more staff here. They were pretty busy when I was there and I saw only two servers, which clearly was not enough.

Fast and friendly service, good burgers and fries, and fair prices — works for me! I can’t think of anything extraordinary about Johnny Rockets, but everything was really good! I won’t be here often, but when I want a burger, I’ll totally consider it.
