King Buffet

I’ve been to King Buffet three times now (mostly because it’s the only Chinese buffet anywhere near work).
The food really wasn’t as bad as most of the other reviews make it out to be. Some of the stuff did look like it had been under the heat lamps for awhile, but most of it was pretty fresh.
Like Christin B says, the place is huge. There had also never been more than 10 – 15 people in there at a time when I’ve been there. I have no clue how they stay in business.
Service was borderline nonexistent. Granted I did order a water, which tends to curtail service, but I ran out of water after my first plate and didn’t get a refill until I was on my third. Going through an entire plate of salty Chinese food with no beverage is ROUGH!
The fresh fruits were all very good though. Especially the pineapple and orange wedges; which I probably could have easily had an entire plate of.
Avoid the ice cream at the dessert like the plague! It was all freezer burnt with ice chunks throughout. Very disgusting.
Overall, I will likely not be back again. There are other restaurant options in the area for similar prices, and if I want a buffet in the area there’s a Golden Corral about the same distance.

omg! OK where do i start!!!
i was craving rice and noodles so i looked up places to eat on my phone… this place came up and it was less then a mile away. so my friend and i decided to check it out. ugh! i should have known better from just the way it looked like ON THE OUTSIDE! its really ghetto looking and when i went inside it was WORSE! the place is really big, a lot of space… when i say a lot of space its cuz they only had 3 customers in this big restaurant! WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS AROUND DINNER TIME! IT SHOULD OF HAD AT LEAST 20PPL THERE! that should have been a red flag! but then we decided to to just try it out anyways… then when i walked up to the buffet… gag! everything looked so dry and and OLD! the rice was all hard looking and the meats were all dry and the veggies were sooo gross looking too! ugh! i could stand the way everything looked! so we just walked out! no way i was going to eat there!
how do they stay in business? ha! who the hell knows?!! they should get shut down! bleh!
do not eat here you might get sick! =(

Food quality is poor. Selection is of a decent size. Atmosphere is very dirty and dingy. Plus I had a stomach ache for 2 days after eating there. I definately do not recommend.

I had heard a little about this place, and seen ads and coupons. I was actually pretty interested. I finally had a chance to go last week, and was somewhat disappointed. Oh, it’s not awful, but even by my fairly low expectations of Chinese buffets (as opposed to standard Chinese) it wasn’t very good.
Food– tolerable, but nothing stood out. Not much variety. Service was just above minimal, plates were sometimes dirty, overall atmosphere kinda dingy.
