Lomonico’s

I arrived expecting a Southern Italian menu and was pleasantly surprised to find something much more exciting. A southern American tilted menu with broad appeal. We ordered a nice, but moderately priced bottle of Super Tuscan. We skipped the appetizers/​shares and opted for salads and entrees instead.
The grilled Caesar was good but my entrée of pork tenderloin was truly amazing. The meat was perfectly cooked and the grits were great. The greens and OYO soaked compote that accompanied my meal were amazing enough to make my momma cry.
Go here and definitely order this dish.
I can’t wait to go back and try another dish.

just stopped for lunch as our plans had changed. the house burger was killer and the portion just right for lunch. my co-​worker had the shrimp blt and said he would get it again once he goes back. it was a nice walk to the restaurant from my office and I will defiantly will be going back :)

Recently had dinner here – I like the upscale but casual vibe. I work at Columbus State, and it’s difficult to find this particular kind of restaurant close by; Grass Tiki is too quirky and dark, and the restaurants farther down on Gay street require a search for parking.
I had the Crispy Salmon – pan-​seared with slow-​cooked white beans, and just a bit of tassou ham for zip. I am SUPER picky about fish. .. if it’s overdone, game over, and if it’s underdone, then the chef doesn’t know what he/​she is doing. It was very fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. My friend had the Blanco Pizza and finished it in about five minutes so I didn’t get to try it.
Service was super-​friendly and confident. I wasn’t so sure about ordering the salmon, but I was told it was a good choice. Glad I listened.

Came here for lunch during a weekday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The best part, however, was their mushroom soup – the absolute best soup I have ever had! Grilled romaine Caesar salad and wood-​fired Blanco pizza were also to die for. Will definitely be coming back!

Very nice addition to the neighborhood. Crab dip appetizer is a must try-​very good. I enjoyed the meatloaf dinner too. I definitely will return
