I have definitely experienced better. This store is so cluttered and worn out looking. It needs a very nice ‘face-lift’ to get it up to speed. I think putting in new flooring, and some new paint as well as re-organizing all the products and putting in updated looking shelves would be a great and not too expensive start. I noticed a lot of dust on the products as well as expired sell-by dates on the bottles,(that can’t be good.) When I went there, there was a guy working there that looked to be high as a kite and could not figure out how to use the computer system. I had to wait on him several minutes as he tried to figure out the system. Well, he never did, so he started yelling to the back for another employee to help him. Someone finally arrived, pushed ONE button and that was all it took. Unbelievable. I went here looking for a few vitamins, which I found, but the store is also chock full of super bizarre and kooky looking things that looked to be either ritual type gear or torture devices of some kind. I am looking for vitamins, not something to stick up my butt, thanks. They really need to consider training their employees correctly, too, and having them lay off the drugs while on company time.

Let me leisurely test out all there stuff and relax in the library and then find the homeopathic remedies that let me carry on with the next weeks duties and responsibilities. I like to support local business. This Local Business is great and in business over 15 years the owner is familiar with the area, helpful. Very unique Enchanting atmosphere Clean

This is a very eclectic, excentric place. I loved it. Vitimans, wallet cards for any body, mind, spirit mantra, or ritual. Incense burners and insense, Teas, exercise stuff, books. The list can go one. Odd and ends. The staff is friendly, and helpful. I got a few things for some nice prices. I was looking for some stuff I usually find in Chinatown NYC, and now I know where I can find it. A bit higher in price, but that counts for having to ship it here and the overhead of the store. Thats business. A nice store all round, so if you need some oddities dealing with mind, body, and spiritual things that are nonreligious, but on the side of good, you may find it in this store. I

From neti pots to clean out your schnoz, massage implements to work out the kinks, to the widest selection of Chinese exercise balls i’ve ever seen stacked in one place, Momentum 98 is a well stocked stop for anyone interested in holistic health practices and oriental medicine. There’s a great vitamin and supplements area and ear candles for opening up your head. Give this place a look.

VERY knowledgeable, and sells every product imaginable for health and wellness. There’s a whole lot of stuff in there that baffles and confuses me. There are also products that I have only been able to find online, that’s quite convenient. I went in hoping to find some Tarot cards. They don’t have any, but they do have aromatherapy oils, incense, and candles. You will also find educational reading materials, and numerous color coded charts for easy nutritional or acupressure guidance. I was lucky to be listening to a conversation between Portia(one of the employees, the owner?) and a customer. They were discussing something that I could relate to, and because of that conversation I was directed to a few products that I didn’t even know I needed. That sounds like a pretty darn good sales person to me, but it wasn’t like that. It was the answer to a question I’ve been asking for a quite a while. The products, when used as advised, are amazing and truly create a feeling of overall wellness, and health. I would absolutely recommend visiting Momentum98 for any health needs. If you can try to have a list of ailments. It might help you to stay focused on the priorities.

Whenever i’m feeling icky(yes, that is a technical term) and am looking for something to shake off the… icky-ness, this is the place that I go. I also have a habit of poking my nose in here whenever i’m looking for absolutely bizarre gifts for friends and family to marvel in wonder at. You can’t imagine the looks you get at a family event when your second cousin opens his wrapping paper to reveal his new Tongue Scraper.(I particularly appreciate how gifts like this act as a potential criticism, like a hairbrush would suggest that the person needs to brush their hair, but ultimately are criticism that is difficult to fathom coming up with. «You’re wonderful, oh second cousin, the twice a year that I see you, but i’ve always had this overwhelming feeling that you need to scrape your tongue.»

Momentum 98 is a darn well-stocked health store in Clintonville. This place is much more than just a vitamin and supplement store to be sure. They carry acupuncture and chakra charts â” so you can know how your body works â” as well as a wide array of massage tools and oils. And then there’s the weird stuff: therapeutic magnets, bizarre-looking chairs and what appeared to be a portable steam room. This place is packed, and there’s a surprise around every corner. The service can be spotty, but bear with them.

As far as health stores go, I think this is one of the best in the area. There’s a much wider range of products than you’d normally find. You can pick up all the usual supplements, but you can also get everything you need to practice acupuncture. There’s a great section of massage tools that look like they’d be equally comfortable in a torture chamber and a sex shop. And they also stock a bunch of new age devices to align your immortal soul with ethereal crystal power. I bought a bag of African Cayenne for a couple bucks to put in my coffee. I’ll be back for the acupuncture.
