Moroccan Steam Spa

My husband and I booked and thoroughly enjoyed a double hamam. Wonderful! I am not sure about the guy below who wrote the incredibly bad and insulting review… wow. We loved our experience. Do not pay any attention to his review. I wonder if there were some communication issue going on there. Our scrub took 1.5 hours, followed by tea and cookies in a wonderful little Turkish-​style relaxing/​dressing room. If you are not familiar with the process, here’s a summary: We wore bathing suit bottoms/​underwear for the scrub. We lay on tiled benches in the shower room. Specialists scrubbed us with loofah gloves, removing surface dead skin cells (and it’s remarkable how clean I thought I was before this!). They applied masques to each of our bodies, massaged our backs, than soaped and washed us a couple of times — the last time with these wonderful soap suds. They washed our hair, conditioned it, and rinsed us thoroughly with warm water retrieved in brass bowls from a refillable basin. They toweled us off, gave us fluffy robes and slippers and sent us to relax for a bit. We loved it. And we will be going back. The spa also offers pedicures, manicures, massages and waxing services. All of it is very reasonably priced! Don’t waste your time at one of our local high-​visibility spas. Go here!

Amazing! I have Keratosis Pilaris so the Hammam really smoothed out my skin. My skin has never been this soft and the whole experience is amazing. It is very luxurious and I felt Iike a queen. I highly recommend getting a hammam here!

This place is very sketchy. They made me drive all the way from Marysville to their place twice and did not give the massage which I booked in advance. First time, I had an appointment with Tai for a Shiatsu massage. I remember talking to Tai the day before. But the place was found locked when I reached at 6pm, after beating all the busy traffic on the way. I waited like a fool outside for 30 minutes and kept calling them. No answer. I left voicemails and went back all the way to Marysville. Two days later, I got a call telling Tai had an accident on the day, the evening of which was my massage appointment. The lady’s name was Sara and she said sorry and I can get a massage on the next Monday. On that day which was four days later, Sara (who gave me massage instead of Tai) said, Tai had back surgery and the place has been closed for two weeks !! But I remember talking to her the day before and a few times that week of my massage appointment. So definitely a lie. The massage Sara gave me was alright. But not great. I waited a month to get Tai’s massage. So I called again and Tai said she is alright and I can go on ⁰⁶⁄₃₀. I set the time. I called in the morning, just to confirm that she is there. I talked to Tai. In the afternoon, when I reached 10 minutes before my appointment time, Tai is not there and it’s again Sara. Sara told me Tai is out of town !! She again said the same old sorry. My time waste, gas expense and feeling of being fooled have no value and will not be compensated. And then she is telling, I talked to her instead of Tai that day morning, which is hard to believe as when I called her, I addressed her as Tai. And then she is telling Tai is her sister and one of the owners. But Sara and another owner are going to fire Tai because Tai does not like to work !! All these sound like blatant lies ! No ethics, no manners. I talked to a cop who was waiting outside the Greek food store in his SUV and he told me it’s civil and not criminal offense and told me to run away from a place like that unless I want to take both of those liar sisters to small claims court. They used to have deals with Groupon. Because of customer complaints, Groupon stopped working with them. Guys, I don’t know what the deal is. Better try some other place unless you like to get tricked by some crazy ladies.

Before I went to Columbus 2 months ago, I have searched for a body scrub and this place was the 2^nd result. I then came to know that they have Moroccan bath which is something I know and have tried few times. At my 1^st visit I have tried a 1 hour massage that was very average then the Moroccan bath done by Tai who is also the manager. The Moroccan bath was just great, a truly unique experience. Tai was very talented and managed to take care of me, she also explained the procedure along the way. Two days later I decided to comeback for The royal full day hammam spa that cost $ 250 which is a very good deal. I have requested that Tai do the treatment, and she did. Her massage was the best ever. She asked if I have any specific requests before we started and I asked for long strokes with some stretching and she included those along with her magical massage. What made her massage even more relaxing & enjoyable is that the massage bed is heated!
The facial, hand and foot treatments are so nice then I went back to the relaxing room and ordered a very delicious lunch (which is part of the deal). Then she took me to the Steam room and took a very good care of me. All in all I felt like a king and am sure that this place is a must for any one visiting Columbus and need a relaxing time.

In addition to regular spa treatments they also specialize in Moroccan hammam. If you are looking for something a little different this is an amazing experience. Firstly because you feel like you are in a different country and secondly because it is really rejuvenating. It’s very relaxing and your skin feels like new. My visit was well timed on an early spring day and I felt like I was shedding all my dry winter skin. You are basically washed and scrubbed and rinsed and massaged. It’s like a facial for your whole body. The staff were very welcoming. I thought that it was good value and I can’t wait to go back.

So I went here on a Sunday for Hamam and rasoul. I have been looking for a steam spa with korean spa like features in columbus because I love the korean body scrub. This one was close to what I was looking for. The service here is great, I forgot the name, I think it was the owner who greeted me. She was very courteous, polite and attentive. I loved the interior, it looked very authentic. Fatima was the name of the person who performed Hamam which is the bath with scrub and massage and then she did rasoul which is the body mask. She was very nice and made me feel at ease, she was professional at what she did. After the wonderful spa session I was taken to the private lounge room where they served me Turkish snacks and green tea. I just loved the whole experience and would definitely recommend this place and their exceptional service.
