I like Panera because the selection is always great on the menu at any location. You have your soups, salads, panini’s, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, bakery items and teas. The price is hefty for just picking an item or two off the menu and yes the portions are a little smaller than people expect. Although your getting quality for the price. Yes, the soups may be pre-made although there’s many people to serve so it’s kind of hard to keep it fresh by the hour. The only beef I have with this location is some of the seating area is so close to the door you have the wind blowing in your face when people are exiting the restaurant. The other Panera Bread locations seem to have a bigger dining area than this one. I just suggest maybe moving that seating area away from the door and trash can. Other than that everything else is good here.

Starbucks from now on… Not even one vegan offering. No customer service period. «Could you ask if the kitchen would make something vegan?» «No. We don’t do that. There isn’t anything.» Not even soy milk for my coffee… But I got to pay $ 4.29 for a grilled cheese sandwich for my son. One last time.

Panera continues to be the most expensive, least value fast casual in town. Portions and ingredients for the money paid is ridiculous. Do not even think about coming here to catch up on work or surf while enjoying your meal. Slowest. Wifi. Ever. Thirteen minutes to connect. I think that sits it all. Besides, this place has, like, three power outlets.

Made a quick stop and ordered a half Caesar salad with bread as side. I’ve always enjoyed Panera salads. It took me a few minutes to order since the registers were having some technical difficulties but the staff was friendly. I ordered my salad and it was served with a plastic fork which made it extremely difficult to eat a salad with croutons. I was focusing more on trying to eat the croutons than the actual salad. I can understand putting plastic silverware in to-go boxes but not for eat in which is what I did. Was pretty disappointed!

I will never eat there ever again. There is a manager who is CONSTANTLY screaming at employees. I have witnessed this many times. More unfortunately, last time I ate there I found a CRAWLINGBUG on my sandwich! If I hadn’t opened the sandwich to check for quality assurance I would have never known, and I would have ingested a live, CRAWLINGBUG. To make matters worse I am pregnant and what pregnant girl wants to eat a bug that is alive? It also tends to be not very clean and employees in general act unprofessional. Never again!

For all the Paneras’ that I’ve been to in Central Ohio, this one is probably my favorite. And its not just because it’s the closest to where I live. I have yet to have my order incorrect, or wait forever for my food. Today my food was done before my frozen caramel! That never happened before. Prices are still a little high but that’s the case with every location.

Panera’s hazelnut coffee is my absolute fav! I have a serious addiction. Now my best friend is also addicted. I love their breakfast sandwiches. Real eggs, white Vermont cheddar. I get the ham power sandwich, egg whites and add spinach/tom. My all time fav, healthy, fast food breakfast!

No napkins for customers. Was told they were out. Tables were not cleaned promptly. I ordered a Fuji Apple salad and there was no dressing on the salad. The line was so long to ask for dressing. Also I had no knife to use for my butter. My Pecan Braid was not cooked completely. The inside was doughy. Will not visit this location again.

This is a review about the staff again and not the food… We though we will give the online ordering a try… And I got there on the time they said they will have the food ready for carry out… Sure enough, the food was ready. at least thats what they told me… So I ask the staff to make sure everything is there. And the person says yes… everything is there… I came home to find out that they had not given me my complete order… I had ordered food for 2 people… So it was not a large order by any means. I guess it was my mistake that I didnt check it before I left but how hard is it to train your employees to check before handing over an order… It was not busy at all and there was no one behind me in… So the person behind the counter had all the time in the world to check. I have been to this location before as well and have always found the staff to be a little clueless at times… Either they dont hire people who can handle orders or they dont train their staff well enough… And I think it is the latter in this case

Not writing a review on the food, it’s always usually pretty good. Overpriced, but good. This review is focused more on the staff at this location. A friend and I frequent Panera for the quiet atmosphere and free WiFi to prepare for exams. Today we were able to do that, but found ourselves very distracted because of two employees that were sitting in the common dining area talking loudly about another employee. I believe one may have been a manager, and she was discussing different ways to write her up. My friend and I even heard a few curse words during their discussion. Completely unprofessional. They really need to work on learning and understanding what is professional and what is not while they’re at work.

I am still mixed on whether I truly enjoy coming to Panera. I am always under served with the portions and over charged with price and leaving semi happy. They do update the menu to allow for seasonal items which keep me interested in hoping I will come and taste something worth coming back for. I general visit for a quick breakfast bite with coffee or a quick lunch. I have never visited during dinner as there is nothing on the menu that screams dinner.

One of the nicer Panera stores. Large and laid out well. Convenient parking and access to Henderson and 161. Other than that, it’s a Panera. A good, healthier than most, chain food option with free internet and classical music in the background.

A-ok in my book. Be sure to get the loyalty card, and remember to use it when you get bagels and coffee for the office. Great soup! Usually at least one is vegetarian, if not vegan. Most of the cheese based soups are NOT veg and contain stock. A tip? Sub a bagel for the fruit or baguette side

Nice location and it is like most Paneras. I didn’t see as many outlets as I would like to see at a place that is known for it’s WiFi area. I did think that their internet was faster than the previous two Paneras that I went too. Their booths are very narrow so larger people beware. I would like a few more booth options but that might be because I could only find one empty and it was very narrow. They did have a nice round table in the front that would be nice for book clubs of 4 – 6 people. Service was Ok but they had no milk or cream sitting out at around 5 pm which was kind of odd. It is Panera so i don’t have too many complaints. Good place to work.

I love this Panera location on Hamilton Road! It’s very convenient and is always a nice place to come for a meal or just a cup of coffee. I especially like soup in their bread bowls and the artichoke turkey sandwich! Lip-smackin’ good! Not really much more I can say about it… I’m at a loss. Anyhoo, it’s good and I’ll be back!

Panera is a-ok, as the three stars would indicate. I am a fan of their food, for something quick and requiring little effort on my part, which would be a four star review. However, I’ve experienced better when it comes to competence of employees(two star review), so for those of you averaging at home, we’ve arrived back at three stars. Panera has some tasty food. I’m somewhat of an expert on their food, since my workplace goes there about 4 times a week for breakfast. But I’m assuming that most of you know what Panera’s food is like, so I’ll skip all that nonsense and go to the specifics for this location. The employees are quite friendly, however the past trillion times we’ve eaten there I’ve found myself back at the counter to correct the order.(No dressing on the salad, nothing on a sandwich except turkey and bread [“That’s how it comes!” No, no it’s not…], no spoon for the soup, the wrong toppings on the salad, etc. etc.) They always fix the mistakes, but the point is… there are always mistakes. I once got an iced chai from this location that I’m pretty sure was just a glass of milk and sugar on ice. I always try a sip of the iced tea, hoping that it will be delicious, but 9 times out of 10 it tastes like the same tea bags have been sitting in the machine for the past 8 years and are now growing some sort of as of yet unidentified fungus. But, you know what? I keep going back. Oh, Panera. I really do enjoy having a nice cup of soup and sandwich while listening to your unoffensive classical music and reading a book/magazine/Kindle/apple device.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. The food is delicious, the service is great and they even have a guy bussing tables. lol Today I had a cheese and bacon tart and a cup of hot chocolate. Both were perfect!

I go to Panera too much. I am officially stuck on the same old stuff every time I go, though. But it’s good stuff. Also, I’ve decided I *really* like bread. A lot. They have some of that bread stuff here. You can eat pretty decently here in terms of calories — if you pay attention. They’re now posting the calories next to each item on the menu(big thumbs up, Panera!) so that’s super handy. The pick two’s are a good way to go for us indecisive ones. You can get half a sandwich, half a salad or cup of soup, and those come with chips, baguette, or an apple. It’s a filling lunch and a nice place to hang out, too. Something about the decorating in a Panera is just very relaxing to me. That helps quite a bit. After you’re done with your sensible lunch, get a chocolate duet walnut cookie or blondie from the bakery and blow your«good» behavior on their deliciousness

There’s a commercial that plays on the radio that says something along the line of «Panera only uses the freshest tomatoes for their tomato, mozzarella and basil salad». Apparently the advertising people at Panera have never been to a Farmer’s Market or eaten a tomato grown within a thousand miles of home. The pale, mealy, tomato looking lumps in my salad were far from fresh. I’m not sure they’d have been considered fresh when they were picked a month ago. So let me give you this tip before I go any further: The flavor of the tomato salad isn’t bad but the tomatoes are sort of gross. Still, I’m giving this place three stars and I’m basing that on bagels alone. Because I love the bagels from Panera, and they are worthy of a three star review. I don’t think I’ve ever had a flavor I didn’t like and they manage to get them the exact right consistency every time; chewy without being boingy. So if you’re looking for baked goods, Panera is great, just don’t get lured in to their salad ads!

I’ll be honest: Panera is the bakery/coffee house I love to hate. We had a few brief trysts a few years ago, but I was never fully enamored and apologize if I led anyone on. In my mind, all Panera food is mediocre at best. Occasionally one of the seasonal sandwiches will make me perk up, but I always quickly forget them. The drinks range from average to bad to «please just give me a cup of ice and let me put some decaf and sugar in it myself.» The one drink that I can say is consistently pretty good is the hot cocoa. It is sometimes nice in the winter to sit in front of a fireplace sipping hot cocoa and reading a book or typing away on my laptop. Sometimes… So if the food and drinks are mediocre what about the environment? This ranges from bad to intolerable. First, this particular Panera has maybe 3 extremely oddly placed outlets. I always feel bad taking a booth or large table when it’s just me, but the outlet positioning here makes it impossible for lone workers not to. If you see a person with a laptop sitting at a 5-seater booth, cut them some slack: they’re just there for the power! I’m want to preface the next statement by first saying that I love kids. That said, this Panera has the *highest* concentration of unruly kids I’ve ever seen, and I used to be a pre-k teacher! While at this Panera I’ve had kids climbing on and around me, grabbing at my laptop, and sprinting back and forth so close to me that I had to guard my coffee for fear of 2nd degree burns on me or them. Parents take note: this is not acceptable behavior for your children in public. The adult crowd can be a bit distracting too: there are a few regular groups that really crank up the volume, making the place extremely uninviting. If you are known for your love of all things Panera, don’t care about outlet availability, and can tolerate long stretches of loud guests, this Panera will probably work for you. If you don’t have a particular reason to be at Panera, give it a miss and hit up one of the other coffee houses in Gahanna.
