If you want a great haircut, this is the place to go. Matthew, the owner, is a magician with the clippers and scissors. He’s my go to guy when I need a fresh cut. Everyone here interacts with their customers and we have a great time. They listen to what you want and execute to the best of their abilities, and the turn out is great. Me moving from California to Indiana; it was hard to find a good barber/​hair stylist. Until I found this hidden gem. This place is located between 4th and 5th street on Washington. Right across from Henry Social Club.
Tip: make an appointment because these guys are always busy with clients.

The Parlor is THE place to go in Columbus if you want the best cut in town. I’ve been getting my hair cut there for years and my wife hasn’t left me for a better head of hair… yet …and I’m really not even that nice to her. It has to be the haircut.
In all honesty, my hair line has been slowly receding since my teens and most stylists can’t help but make me look super thin on top. Matthew has shared some ancient Chinese remedies with me (that I won’t mention here due to their graphic and possibly illegal nature) that have helped me grow hair again – not only on top of my head but all over my body.
If you are on the fence about this place, do yourself a favor and make an appointment ASAP.

Got my hair cut here today by Brooke and couldn’t be happier. This is by far the nicest salon in Columbus. Prices are very reasonable and the service is second to none. I highly recommend Parlor 424 to anyone.

i go to Parlor 424 once a month for a hair cut and style. The facility is amazing, clean, and modern. The designers are first-​class. They are incredibly kind and personable, as well as skilled and creative. This is exactly the kind of place where I want to spend my time and money for a great hair cut.
