Seabolt and Co.

I’d like to be able to change this review to 5 stars since every other review I read has been positive.
I called Seabolt yesterday to schedule a Brazilian wax for today at 3pm. I was offered a 50% discount for new clients which is a great promotion.
I am currently in the parking lot at Seabolt, it’s 325pm and no one is here, not the technician I scheduled the appt with nor anyone else so I can reschedule (or figure out what’s going on). There is no option to leave a message when I call.
I’m pretty disappointed.

Super cute salon, clean environment, fair prices, and friendly staff. I was waxed by Brenna and she did an awesome job! I totally recommend her!

This was my first Brazilian, so needless to say I was a little nervous. Jamie made me feel comfortable, and warned me about the areas that would hurt more than the others. He also explained that since this was my first one, it would be a little more painful than future waxes. I won’t lie– it hurt! But what do you expect when someone is ripping hair off of your body… Under arms were next. Definitely not as bad as the Brazilian and I’ve already booked my next appointment at Seabolt.
The salon itself is cute– love the pallet walls. They are still working on some exterior remodeling and will be expanding soon, so it’s a bit unfinished but adds to its charm. I’ll be back!

I purchased the 3 Brazilian wax package through Groupon and had my first wax today. I have been getting Brazilian’s done for about 2 years now and I am always nervous going to a new place. But my experience was great! Charleigh was very easy to talk to and worked quickly and efficiently. The shop is cute and I am interested in checking out their other services! See you again soon!

I found a great Groupon for 3 Brazilian waxes. But before I made the purchase I read the reviews for this place. Not going to lie, I was a little sketchy because I saw a few bad reviews. But I also saw MORE positive feedback than negative, so I bought the Groupon. I had my first wax today and it was great! I’ve only had one other Brazilian and this one was a little less painful. Jamie used strips (I have only used wax) and it seemed to hurt less. I had a very good experience. At first, I was a little nervous bc I was having it done by a male. But honestly, I had a much better experience with him than I did with a female! We talked the whole entire time, which kept me relaxed and I felt completely comfortable. Jamie was very thorough with the wax and was very nice! I didn’t even know he was the owner until about halfway through! I can’t wait to go back in 6 weeks! :)

You must have the wrong person. This was not my first Brazilian, I was not close to my «female cycle» and I’ve never been in a sorority. Good try though trying to discredit my review. You’re a real class act

I’m giving 1 star because I’m not permitted to give less. I’d like to first note that Allision makes this facility a pleasure.
I purchased a Living Social deal for Seabolt, very cute concept. After the service, Living Social requested feedback. I noted that when I went for my service the bathroom was filthy… This is the response I received from the owner:
I assure you that cleanliness is important to us (plus managed and inspected by the cosmetology board) and we are shocked that this has been said about us. We meet all sanitation regulations as required by law. After all of the five star reviews found online regarding our service and facility, including those reviews that specifically brag about the cleanliness of our facility, this is a shock. If you had any problems with our facility, why did you not come to a member of management and discuss your concerns before leaving a review? As the owner, I have had no e-​mails, phone calls, or even a face-​to-​face discussion from anyone, including yourself, in regards to our cleanliness. It seems shocking that you would bring up a concern of this matter through a review instead of through direct contact to the management/​ownership directly. It surprises me to be receiving a negative review after the countless positive reviews we have received since our opening.
Needless to say I will not return mainly because of how the manager handled this issue.

I took a class through Seabolt & Co and had an AMAZING time! I am a true novice with makeup and learned so much from the class. Jamie and his staff are knowledgable and patient, which is wonderful.
They made a repeat customer out of me.

Went for the first time to this salon and saw Allison for a Brazilian wax. She was extremely friendly and, even though we had just met, made me feel comfortable the whole time. Allison’s waxing technique, along with some ibuprophen about an hour beforehand, made for an almost pain free experience. I’ve had several brazilians before and it’s never been as tolerable as it was with Allison. She was extremely thorough and left me completely hair free. I’m happy to say I’ve found this salon, and have already made my next appointment to visit again!

I had such an amazing appointment! I met with Allison and she was absolutely incredible. This was my first experience getting a bikini wax, but Allison took the time to walk me through the process, and made me feel so at ease. Her professionalism was great, and she made something that could be totally embarrassing no big deal. What’s more, it did not hurt like I thought it was going to, which was so great! Allison gave me advice as far as what to do in the day or so following, and made me confident in saying that I will definitely be back.
I suggest that you treat yo’ self, oh and ask for Allison!

Had my brows waxed here a few weeks ago and they still look great! The service was fast and comfortable and the esty even made time for my 2 gal pals when they needed a quick wax, too. The studio is bright and clean and in a convenient location. I’ll be back every 4 –6 weeks for sure!

This is my first experience with waxing. That being said, this was definitely a great experience. My appointment was with Allison who was just as charming and hospitable as you could ever ask for. She was so focused on my experience and making sure that I was comfortable that I forgot to be nervous! Considering I was ready to pass out in my car… this was quite an accomplishment in itself!
The procedure was not at all what I was anticipating (thankfully!). Nor was it like stories I heard from my friends (again, thankfully!). I was so appreciative of the time, attention and demeanor of Allison. She assured me that we could stop at any time and that I would not «look funny». She started at a bikini wax and worked her way in. So that if I wanted to stop, I had an even, balanced and, dare I say it, pretty look. She was so fun to talk to and let me know what was going on at all times.
