UPDATE: EVENWORSE. They just hit my credit card for the full night fee of $ 110 and change, plus tax. for a total of $ 121 — AND I’M NOTEVENGOING! I made a reservation at this hotel via Choice Hotels website. Reserved on Tuesday, 10⁄27. On 10⁄29 — YES, 2DAYSLATER — I realized my plans were going to change, and called to cancel the reservation. I was told that the hotel has a 48 hr. cancellation policy, and I will be charged $ 50 to cancel. I even called corporate customer service, and they told me I will be charged. If I had booked weeks in advance and canceled at the last minute, I would not be upset. But I booked 2 days earlier, so they obviously have space. The hotel manager and the customer service rep were both professional, but not the least bit accommodating or understanding. Needless to say, Choice Hotels have lost a customer.

This place was very nice for a Sleep Inn. Don’t go in expecting bellman service or anything but it was very serviceable! The staff was nice Paula who was at the front desk when we got there was very friendly and accommodating! Water pressure in the shower was above average and the breakfast was fine. I plan on staying here again if I’m passing through Indiana!

Never again. We had 4 rooms here, for 3 nights, and the pool was unusable for 3 days. We were told upon arrival that the pool heater had malfunctioned. The water temperature was 108 degrees. Their solution to this problem was to prop open the door to the steaming pool area, filling the lobby, breakfast area and hallways with heat and humidity for our entire stay. Worse, the propped open door — and no explanatory sign of any kind — created a danger. At any time, a child could have darted into the overheated pool. Each time new guests checked in during our stay, the staff lied to them, with minor variations of «The pool will reopen in about an hour.» Other annoying problems included a coffee pot in our room that did not work at all, and a snow filled TV picture on every channel. Never again.

Excellent friendly staff. Great rooms. Nice free breakfast and free wifi. Dirt cheap. 4 stars for a supremely cold indoor pool and broken sauna. Otherwise perfect.

Stayed here for just one night. It was fine, as far as hotels go. Reasonably comfortable bed, heat worked fine, seemed fairly clean but the toilet/shower room was very small. My main complaint is the annoying motion-sensor light switches. They were difficult to use and I really prefer to have full control over my light use while I’m in the room, since I’m paying for the room and all.

On the way to FLA. Stopped for the night. Clean rooms, Nice pool(no hot tub). Friendly staff and a hot morning breakfast. Close to many restaurants although many are fast food. Also close to Menards, Wal-Mart, Sam’s and HWy 65. Under $ 80 and worth it.
