Spicoli’s Bar Grill

Woof! This place isn’t that great for a bar in the Columbus area. First, it took a lot of effort to actually find the front door. The door marked «EXIT» was the only door not locked. Slightly confusing and not off to a great start. The outside illumination is akin to a strip club — neon track lighting, tented windows, and no clear signs where the entrance is.
Walking in, plenty of room and floor space with 3 – 4 pool tables. Tables and chairs are fine, but there ash trays on the tables, but not sure why since you can’t smoke indoors. Weird. Not too much of a beer selection on tap — pretty standard — bud, bud light, miller, blue moon. A few bottle selections, but pretty standard fare.
I didn’t order food, but I’ve heard the burgers are actually really awesome. The fries were ok, but not that great. Wait staff was pretty good, very polite. There were only 6 other patrons in bar — very dismal turn out for a Thursday night. Probably won’t go back.

I went with a group of friends to play pool and drink beer. About an hour after getting there, I sat down at a table and picked up a little party hat that was set on it. 30 seconds later, I was in a chokehold with no warning, dragged out and thrown outside. Extremely unsettling and terrible behavior. My friends witnessed this as well and were shocked and left after that. If my back doesn’t feel any better, I might even consider legal action.
In short, go to legends, touch a hat, end up in a chokehold and thrown out without warning.

if you enjoy fat, strung out, generally unemployed, lowest run of society then this is the place to be. The place smells like a poorly kept kennel. If there is music playing it will be the loudest most annoying thing known to man. The bathroom is right out of a crack house, no one seemed to mind though.

Spicoli’s has a great environment and the bar staff is quick with the drinks.
