It’s your average looking Mexican restaurant and I have been here a few times for their chicken nachos. Very flavorful and I love their red sauce. I usually stick to what I know and it’s the only menu item I’ve had but I know others who eat here as well. Clean place, nice employees and decent prices. It’s a win in my book

Ok– let’s start with I’ve been here before. And I liked it/close to home. Tonight was in charge of dinner for vegetarian daughter and myself. She wanted guacamole– so it was easy decision to come here. Ordered her food with guacamole on side. Got myself a burrito. Heck– even tipped the community jar as I waited. Got home– no guacamole– even though receipt said it! Three staff, three patrons in the place– just double check your order is all I can say…

Good authentic Mexican food at good prices. The menu has plenty of variety, service is friendly, and the place is just off of 270. Recommended.

Gem of a little place hidden away in a strip mall on Cleveland Ave. Basically amazing taco-truck style food in a restaurant setting. The tacos here are authentic and GOOD. We’ve gone about 4 times and have yet to be disappointed. Décor is cute, if typical Mexican restaurant style. There are only a few tables, though most tables are large and can sit 6 – 8 people. The woman who runs the register is very nice and recognized us even after we’d only been there twice. The kitchen is visible from the register and everything looked clean and fresh. My usual litmus test for new taco places is how well they do pescado(fish) and lengua(tongue). Yes I said tongue, don’t be snobby — try it, it’s delicious. This place totally delivered on both. The lengua tacos were flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. The fish tacos are tasty and have a nice sauce with them as well. The tacos pastor were pretty decent, but are not my favorite in general. You do have to specify if you want limes or any specific sides. It not they come with the usual taco trimmings and a spicy sauce. I always get the sauce on the side because I am a wimp. My husband has gotten the fajitas every single time we’ve gone there and has always been pleased. Will definitely be back.

I like this place and eat here more often than I’m willing to admit. I often get the chicken(pollo) tacos($ 1.50), but nearly all their entrees are available with your choice of either: pollo, asada, carnitas(pork), pastor(marinated pork), or tongue. I’ve had their mulitas, burrritos and sopitos. Definitely recommend the sopitos, which are crunchy little masa discs topped with pinto beans, choice of meat, pico de gallo, crema, lettuce and cotija cheese. A great tasting value for the $ 2 price tag. Love how items are served with radishes, pickled carrots, and a lime wedge. The staff is courteous, the restaurant is clean, and they’ve maximized their small space with bright colors and lots of seating. The food is authentic, spicy, fresh, economical and fast. My only criticisms are the asada(steak), which doesn’t seem to be the best quality but we’re talking low prices so there is a trade-off here, and their fish tacos($ 1.75), which were a little too«fishy» tasting… go figure.

Love this place! Great food, reasonable prices for big portions. We pick up take out here usually with less than a 10 minute wait after ordering.

I think I found my new«cheap lunch» spot when I’m up in the Polaris /Cleveland Ave. area. This Taqueria is serving up authentic«street» style tacos with a variety of different fillings for between $ 1.50−2, making it easy to fill up on some delicious food for very little, and offer some great deals on lunch plates and house specials if you’re looking for a little more. I tried the lengua, carne asada, and carnitas, and was really impressed by the tongue — it was really tender but still had a great flavor, probably one of the better ones I’ve had around town. Seating isn’t much to speak of and there’s no «frills» — but you can grab chips and salsa for $ 2, and most sides only run between $ 2 – 3. I noticed they have some higher priced items, mostly featuring fresh seafood, like ceviche and and aguachile — I’m planning a return trip to give those a try, too!

Oh my. Good discovery. I’m always open to new lunch places close to work and I’m glad I saw the reviews for this. I went to get carryout and I think I was the first customer, just a few minutes after 11. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me, except perhaps the veggie burrito, but I asked the lady at the register if they had fish tacos, and she asked how many? Ooh yeah. I got three, with a side of refried beans(vegetarian). The dining room is small but full of seating. There are two chairs by the door to wait for carryout orders. The tv is on a Spanish-speaking channel. The woman at the register was very nice and brought my food out to me. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. I really enjoyed my meal. The beans were so flavorful and the tacos just perfect. They were small, but 3 were just the right size for lunch. The fish was seasoned and grilled, without breading. I will definitely return and I have co-workers who are interested in checking it out too.

I ordered there al pastor and the meat did not taste right, clearly not pork. I can honestly say the worst tacos I’ve ever had, the meat was disgusting. I actually felt sick to my stomach after I left for hours. I don’t know if anything else here is good but I’m not about to go back and find out I’m sorry to say.

Small place tucked into a less than great strip mall. However, the food is great. Authentic, cheap and tasty. The staff is, and always has been, very nice, and aim to please. For taco truck fare in a brick n mortar, this is worth seeking out.

We continue to eat here on a regular basis due to the convenience of how fast they are, flavor, prices and carryout capability. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I order. The only thing I would need to advise is to make sure you ask for the condiments you want. Limes have been 50⁄50 in the boxes. Today was the first time they did not put a hot sauce in our bag. Two other times they included a creamier green sauce. I really missed not having the hot sauce today.

Tiny menu(which is perfect as far as options) very quick. It’s by tikka Marsala. Tacos are authentic with a good spiced salsa blend and cilantro on top. Steak fajitas were also very good. Easy to miss this restaurant, but do stop in and try their lunch specials

This was one of the worse Mexican meals I’ve had! Found on Unilocal because I wanted fish tacos and can I say there must have not been any salt in the entire restaurant! The rice and beans were at best out of the can. I wish I could have asked for my money back because our meals were that terrible. This place is literally not five mins from my home so it was a huge let down! If your smart you’ll keep driving because authentic Mexican food this is not!

This is a great new authentic Mexican on the Northeast side of town, pretty close to Westerville. It’s right off Cleveland Avenue in the old Jeddo Kebab spot and right next to Tikka Masala. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon to this little place(maybe 10 tables), and the girl taking our order was very nice. You order everything up at the counter, and they’ll bring it out to you. Almost every time I go to a new taqueria, I’ll try out a few different tacos and the quesadilla and compare them to every other spot in town. My girlfriend and I went with pork, steak, and carnitas tacos, and we both had a pork quesadilla. They were super quick(we were the only ones in there at the time), and they brought out our food with a red and green sauce along with limes, sliced carrots, and radishes. I really like the steak a lot, but the pork I thought tasted a little off. It wasn’t bad but definitely not my favorite in town, and the girlfriend agreed. She really loved the carnitas taco, but I didn’t get a chance to taste it. The quesadillas were deceptively large, and they were packed with meat! The meat definitely outweighed the cheese here, and I had a hard time finishing mine. The red and green salsas were both good, but I think the green was probably the better of the two. The red one did have a decent kick to it though. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone on the Northeast side if you’re looking for an authentic Mexican Taqueria. With the Northwest side of Columbus so far away with all of it’s little Mexican joints, this placed popped up at just the right time. I know there’s a few taco trucks on this side of town, but they’ll close in the Winter, and Guadalajara will still be up, hopefully!

Oh my, this is an amazingly great place! Do yourself a favor and check it out. It is just south of I270 on the east side of Cleveland AVE. The food is so delicious, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful. Read The Dispatch review from March 26th and went tonight. I had never tried beef tongue and they let me sample a few pieces. So tender and I will order it again. 3 tacos, steak, fish and tongue. All very good. Out the door for $ 5.34.

Went in for some quick tacos and see what they had to offer. I just had tacos, they were good and inexpensive. When I go back with a bigger appetite I will write a better review. I love sliced radishes with my tacos, not whole ones with my taco. I know it’s picky, but I was the only one in the place, and I just love sliced radishes on tacos.

This is a relatively new restaurant located in the old Jeddo Kabab store front. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The menu is posted on the wall where you order and has several pictures to help you out. The restaurant is bright, colorful, and clean. I ordered 2 of the $.99 Tuesday special asada tacos, 2 pastor tacos, and 1 lengua taco. The asada tacos weren’t anything special, but worth the price. The pastor ones were quite tasty; not spit roasted with pineapple but nicely seasoned. They aren’t my favorite in town, but I’d be happy to eat ‘em by the ½ dozen. The real shining star was the lengua taco which was the best I’ve ever had. It left me kicking myself for only ordering 1. It was cut into larger pieces relative to other places I’ve tried, very tender, and really moist like they were pulled right from some magical stewing pot of tongues. The folks were friendly, and in case it matters to you, there was no language barrier. The food is cheap too. Highly recommend checking this place out.

After you walk in you can order at the counter take out or eat in. I ordered a Vegetarian burrito for $ 6.99 and a horchata for $ 2.00. As as I waited for my food I enjoyed the bright colors and festive atmosphere. As I was waiting, no more than 15 people walked in and lined up for food. My food was ready in about three minutes. I took it back home to enjoy. It smelled so good that I couldn’t resist taking a bite even before I could take a picture.
