Twelfth Street Catering & Deli

Last week, I called in an order for lunch for 10 people at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of the sandwich tray we received. There was french bread, multigrain bread, and croissant sandwiches with different tasty meats. They wrapped them up on a tray and gave various chips and cookies. The only thing missing was that we didn’t receive any plates. Overall, very good to be last minute and quick. I’d use them again.

It’s an okay place if you want to grab a basic sandwich for lunch. I expected a lot better after hearing about this place. Nothing special about the sandwich or the salad. The place looks clean for being in an old building. This is also an okay place if you are in the area but if your not, it is not worth the travel especially during lunch.
I had a Po Boy sandwich and there was more bread than sandwich. If you want it toasted you have to ask for it, otherwise it doesn’t come toasted. The salad is just a basic salad. Lettuce and cheese looks like it came out of a bag. Some deli’s put together custom salads, but this place didn’t seem to do that. It also seems a bit pricey for the amount and quality of food you get. Our sides for the sandwich were potato salad and macaroni salad. Nothing special for each one. Reminds of the salads that come in a container. Limited outdoor seating, I think one or maybe two tables.
We also had a BLT sandwich. There was nothing special about the sandwich. In fact it was very disappointing. The french bread had a stale feeling to it.
This is the second time we went to this place and not going back again.

One of the best places in Columbus for lunch. Their lunch specials are so good. The chicken salad croissant is my personal favorite. They are Very reliable for Catering venues.

One of my regular lunch places. If you can catch their Tomato Basil soup on the menu, GET IT! Quite possibly the best I have ever had. Or the chicken chili… get that, too. It’s pretty much awesome. The food is good, cheap and quick. I always get the chicken picnic or their chicken salad (which I highly recommend. I have tried to recreate it at home to no avail, I can’t figure out their secret… so it has to be the rotisserie) Love this place. You honestly can’t beat a place that serves fresh food that is better and cheaper than a chain restaurant (Subway).

I have had their food twice: once it was catered and the other time we ate at the deli. The sandwiches are simple and basic, but oh-​so-​good. I’ve had the fruit salad, pasta salad and broccoli salad and would highly recommend them all. I definitely plan to return. Service was decent-​counter person was not overly friendly but we did get our food quickly. Great lunch destination.

This short and to the point. I had the Roast Au Jus with a mixed green salad. The sandwich was good, but the dip was a bit salty for me and the salad was a salad. I would come back for lunch so that is the best thing to know.
