Great store! Cute products and reasonable prices for a boutique. Also reasonable hours and they will hold items until next day close. Getting stuff on sale here is even better — clothes are the best but many of the home goods are also so cute and reasonable! Run by OSU grads! Great example of a worthy and successful local business

While I was in Columbus, OH I stopped at Vernacular after reviewing an article in the American Airlines magazine recommending it(you can see the article here: ). Somehow I didn’t pick up on the fact that it has multiple locations so I first went to the one in German Village, which was pretty far from my hotel, Le Meridian. I loved the prices of the items for sale — the scarves were all approximately $ 20 and soft, with different prints. The dresses were under $ 100. The German Village location only carried women’s clothes, accessories and some kids items. My husband wanted to check out the glasses store mentioned in the article too(B. Tuckerman), so we ended up also going to Granview location. The Grandview location definitely has a lot more selection than the German Village store. Among other things, the Grandview location carries men’s clothes, which aren’t available in the German Village location. Since we were travelling, I only bought a scarf and, unfortunately I lost it the night I bought it and is not available on the website. That said, it felt much better to lose a scarf that only cost $ 18. If you can’t make it to the store, you can also shop online on their website:
