Jack in the Box

They hooked me up with some free tacos. Without taking the survey ! What’s up with that, I call that, perfect customer service,

Fries were stale and cold. My Sprite just tasted like carbonated water with a squeeze of lemon. Only good thing here was the girl taking orders at the Drive-​Thru was very nice.
My co-​workers told me never to go this one because they’ve had the same issue countless times. Bleych!

Cashier guy gave me the wrong change and forced me to get the manager to fix the issue. I gave him a $ 20 bill for one sandwich costing approx $ 4 – 5, receipt stated I am owed about $ 16 in change. He gave me back $ 13 & change, short changing me by $ 3, or making me pay $ 7 for a single sandwich.
I even used a $ 1 off coupon and he knew how to enter that in the cash register, but didn’t know how to count change. His cash register was working, the receipt did the math for him and all he had to do was read what the change amount was. But he still can’t tell the difference between $ 13 and $ 16. He looked like he had trouble counting money, and got nervous and just handed me the money and walked away. It’s good that I actually know how much I am supposed to be getting back and know how to do math in my head because if I just trusted him, I would have lost money.
Thankfully the manager or his co-​worker fixed the problem and gave me the correct change, but it was a hassle that did not need to happen. She got mad at him like this has happened before, so that must be why she didn’t question me. Kind of ironic they have bullet proof windows but they give out wrong change to customers.
Also, the ambience in this Jack in the Box is really creepy and empty. There was not even music so all you here is fast food machinery and the ceiling lights. They either don’t want to fix the stereo system or not wanna pay music royalties to have enjoyable music. It felt more like if Jack in the Box opened a restaurant in a prison. Plus the Bacon Insider Burger really sucked and made me regret not choosing In n Out which is cheaper and tastes alot better.
Never go to this Jack in the Box again. I don’t trust the cashier here and it seems he couldn’t handle elementary school level math. I don’t know why he was put in charge of the cash register. He probably should be cleaning dishes or the bathrooms, something that doesn’t require basic math.

This is the second Jack that I went to in 3 days & they manage to give a drink where syrup has ran out? I wanted a sprite not carbonated water! Otherwise, great service & they do get my order right, quickly!

I honestly dont know why they have bulletproof glass on the cashiers. It is not a ghetto area. As a matter of fact there are always people around that area. It is pretty lonely inside but I like it. Its clean and well-​maintained.

Edit: I’ve been through their drive thru several times now and I love the service there but I’m still not coming inside to eat.
Holy Crap. I felt like I had to get out of there QUICK!
It felt like there might be a shoot out at any time. Bullet proof glass on the cashiers. Some guy talking «business» very loudly over the phone and some dude who stared at every person walking into the place.
All I can say is if you want to stay away from trouble, steer clear from here. This place is ghetto like ghetto was in the 1990’s.

This Jack in the Box is open 24 hours and they never mess up my order. I’ve never actually gone inside but my fiancé said that inside there is a bullet proof glass between you and the workers! That’s kinda scary. Where the hell did we move to?
Anyway, I love their tacos and curly fries. Sue me for me liking a fast food place.
