Ariel Cordero Photography

Ariel was the photographer for our wedding … and as I recently framed some of our engagement and wedding photos, it was a reminder how thankful I am that we chose him to help us capture this day or tremendous joy and love.
The photographs are beautiful — which is no small feat given how much I tense up when a camera is around. Ariel was great at building a rapport before the big day so I would feel more comfortable and remain relaxed. And he managed to both capture moments of poignant human emotion and also a sense of place (which was very important to us given that we got married locally, just a few blocks from our home).

Ariel is the bomb dot com. I shared my vision (Pinterest board) for how I wanted my wedding pictures to turn out and he nailed it.
Before our «test run» session, Ariel showed up three hours early (!) to scout locations around my venue. He found the most gorgeous spot in Dublin, CA which got the rustic «Pinterest» look I wanted. We really appreciated Ariel being proactive.
We did a backyard wedding and had some challenging direct sunlight situations. Ariel perfectly positioned my entire bridal party to make sure we looked our best. He captured a lot of great shots without my directions — he was completely autonomous.
Ariel has a laid back nature that made me confident in his work. When I was anxious before the first look, I was confident I wouldn’t have to worry about photography. Ariel recently got married and you get the sense he is treating you how he would want to be treated on his wedding day.
Book Ariel asap! With his outstanding quality work, his rate will easily double by this time next year!

Ariel and Lindsay (his wife) did the photography for our wedding– they turned out INCREDIBLY! If you want quality work for a reasonable price– this is the company to go with. Ariel and his wife Lindsay did a wonderful job at our wedding. They were knowledgeable, fun to work with, and the pictures they took for us were easily worth thousands more than we paid. Ariel did our engagement pictures, which we love! We have gotten so many compliments. After we saw the talented work he did in the short time on the beach, we had to have him photograph our wedding. He came all the way to Kansas for our big day and did an incredible job, even in unfamiliar territory. Ariel and Lindsay got there early to do their «research». I loved their excitement in preparing for my wedding. I am so thankful that Ariel and Lindsay traveled to the Midwest to capture our wedding.
Not only do we have pictures of every important detail and person that was a part of our wedding, but we have beautiful images that are works of art that we can proudly display in our home.

Who says you can’t afford creative and quality photography in LA? Ariel’s work speaks for itself. I should know, he photographed my wedding and did a terrific job! Check out his website. What you don’t see in his photographs is a man who listens well and does his best to work with your budget and capture the vision you have on your special day. His wife works with him and they make a great team; both down to earth, pay attention to detail and don’t get in your way. They’re great at offering suggestions– anything from poses to make-​up and location referrals. They are open to discussing your ideas and explaining why they wouldn’t work or what would work better. I know it can be uncomfortable letting someone in to shoot a side of your personal life, but the Cordero’s feel like family/​friends :) Give them a «shot», you won’t be disappointed!
