Unfriendly, unwelcoming. The owner treats African American customers with disregard and disrespect. He gives his non black customers preferential treatment. Emily is an awesome and pleasant technician but the owner is a racist.

I suggest seeing Lee. He does not pressure you into getting «gel» colors like some other nail salons that I’ve been to. Very reasonable price and I love that it is peaceful! Very quiet as well.

Love this place:) great shape and colors to choose from and employees are creative. Definitely a go to nail shop!

Vivian is amazing! No one has reviewed this salon in awhile. It’s not fancy. It’s small. But I’m pretty particular about my nails. Not only is she amazing. The prices are far below many similar nail salons. I tip generously since she’s so meticulous. Please give her a try.

I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. I just tried this place for the first time and Kathy did an amazing job on my fill. The shape is perfect! They have a goid selection of polish and colors. I got gel so it was $ 30 which is a bit pricey for Concord. But if you get regular polish with a gel top coat the fill is only $ 18. You get what you pay for so I’ll definitely be back.

My last visit here made me remember why I stopped coming here. I wanted ombré or faded nails. Lee the owner told me he could do it. He said he could do anything… NOT!
I was so dissappointed :-(that I had to pay for something that was not what I requested. And then he had the nerve to get upset that I wasn’t happy. He added some airbrush to appease me but it was still just ugly!
They are not very creative here… I would recommend Hollywood nails. The pedicures are also 10x better at Hollywood nails.

Everyone here is so sweet! You tell them what you want and they’ll do it :) Me and my best friend are going to make this our go to spot.

I always get my eye brows done here, because there busy most of the time I come in but I finally got my nails done there the ones in the first picture but good people. Best time to come is during the week not so busy !

very friendly and speak great english. I really like them and they know me when I walk in the door. Easy to get an appointment. They will even buy a product you are interested in if they don’t have it already. They also have the gel nails by OPI which I haven’t been able to find anywhere else at a very low price!

This place was open in the downtown Concord area when the Nail place on Mt. Diablo was closed (on a Sunday). I was taking pictures for my engagement photos the next day and realized I needed a pedi & acrylic put on my hand nails. I was happy this place was open & not too far from home. In fact I could walked had if not for the heat wave. Luckily there was air conditioning, & for guys taking their girls, the owner (& the man that greeted me) was watching a NFL channel on their flat screen.
The pedi was fine although I’ve had better half leg massages & the lady (I think she was the owner’s wife) actually was kind of hurting me, although I didn’t say anything. She did a cute flower design on my big toes, which I actually really liked, but she did an «Anjelah Johnson“sale* to convince me to get them done. «only $ 5 more…»
My real complaint was when she put the acrylic. I want my nails to look as natural as possible, and previous salons were fine with me wanting them very short. She, on the other hand, seemed to take it personal that I kept asking them to be shorter and shaped thinner and rounder. it got to the point where I quit asking. She said, «I don’t want it to break, and then you come back and complain.» I assured her that «it wouldn’t happen…» (coming back)
I did look over to my neighbor who was being served by the husband, and hers acrylics actually looked good. I think the regulars actually ask for him.
I’m just glad my favorite pictures happen to not show the little clam shells on my finger tips. After my photo shoot, I cut them down, tried to file and shape them with a hard file I bought at CVS and then repolished them. But I can’t wait til these things fall off or become easy to peel off.

They’re very nice here. They took me after they closed and did a good job. They have reasonable prices to.
