I went to Concord Barber Shop for the first time today because of the reviews I read on here. I was not disappointed. Russ is an old school barber. He’s had his shop there since 1969 and it has remain unchanged since then (he even has a yellow rotary dial phone on the wall). He is a great guy, very personable and gives a great haircut at a good price ($ 17). As others have commented, I also love that he vacuums your head and shirt after the cut. I have never had a barber do that before but it makes all the difference in the world. It is the first haircut I have ever had where my head and neckline didn’t itch after. I will definitely be a regular there from now on.

Russ is great. One of the best cuts I’ve had in a while and I came out feeling like I knew him for years. I second the vacuuming comment as well. The least itchy I’ve been after a cut.

Having tried all of the barber shops around, this one is my favorite. A friendly barber gave me a great cut at a reasonable price, and my favorite part: vacuumed the stray hairs off of my head and shirt.
