Been a nightmare with them ever since I moved to NH. I have been to many states, but this DMV by far ranks the lowest. I have had issues with them almost every step of the process for getting a license, registration, phone help, mailing correspondence etc. They have made me run around more than any other DMV.

It’s the employees at the DMV that make this a horrible place. The whole experience would have been totally terrible except the woman that actually helped me out was surprisingly nice, however the damage had already been done at that point. I drove into the DMV behind an erratic driver that kept stopping or pressing on their breaks as it looked like the person was distracted, maybe on their cell phone or looking for something in their car. I drove around them to TRY to avoid getting in an accident then parked. I was pretty stressed out by their driving and hoped they were there for a driving test otherwise that person is an every day driver in the road. As soon as I made it inside and to the«greeter» the woman scoffed at me, blaming me for almost hitting the people in front of me. She looked at me like I was worthless and made assumptions. She was curt, rude and disrespectful; If this is the person you’re going to check in with then plan for a bad experience. Some people should not be allowed to work with the public. Luckily when my number was called the woman that worked with me was fantastic, pleasant and informative. Unfortunately the«greeter» was so terrible I can’t give more than one star. I’m disgusted with the way these people are allowed to talk to the general public when they should be behind a desk somewhere AWAY from people so they don’t give the dmv a worse reputation.

Contacted NHDMV for a replacement title. The woman who answered my call was knowledgeable, helpful and professional! Excellent service! Quite refreshing after dealign with the MADMV.

Came here to get my license. I was told to bring a proof of residency, which was provided to my by the town clerk. The proof was deemed insufficient, even though I had 2 pieces of proof: 1. Town residency paperwork: DMV agent said it was not signed by town clerk 2. Car title paperwork: DMV agent said that the ‘X’ did not clearly indicate WHO signed it(dealer vs town clerk) After arguing with the DMV agent, the supervisor allowed them to proceed, and my license was issued. Bottom line: if using town clerk issued paperwork, check them thoroughly, or risk having to drive to concord once again.

Okay, one more star because my «Within 60 days» license arrived in two weeks. At least now I have something to turn in when I transfer my license to Maine. They suck a little less but they’re still not what they used to be.
