This place has gone downhill in a big way. For chain restaurants, Longhorn used to be one of my go-to places because of a good menu, tasty food, and good drinks. Something has definitely changed, though. They cut many items from their menu– to the point where it’s hard to decide on a meal only due to lack of options, especially for lunch. This is the only restaurant I’ve ever been to where I sat down and didn’t find anything on the menu I wanted! We ended up just having a drink and leaving, since we had already been seated. Several times, I’ve come here(not out of choice) and the food has been so unbearably salty that it was inedible. Keep on driving, unless you’re really desperate.

Not usually a chain restaurant guy, but came here with family. Great prime rib, good beer, and our server was very personable. Would definitively recommend this again…

I travel full time, and as a result I eat at restaurants a lot. Were I a Concord resident, today’s experience at this Longhorn Steakhouse would keep me from coming back. If I did come back it would be after a long period of time. First of all, the dining room was relatively barren with at least 2 or 3 waitresses working. There should have been no delay in service. Yet it was one of the slowest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. It took FOREVER for our different courses to come out and waters to be refilled. I’m not sure if the kitchen was running short on help or our waitress was just not performing at her best, but it was awful. When the main courses did come there were issues. My wife’s meal was not prepared as advertised and was overly spicy to the point of being inedible. My friends fish tasted suspiciously like caramel. He likes caramel, but not fish caramel. My ribs and seasoned corn on the cob were so dried out that they could have been prepared the day before and kept under the heat lamps for 24 hours. It was like a meal of dehydrated meat. Just add water! Except the waitress was nowhere to be found with the water refills. I’ll not be back. Crazy experience which doesn’t reflect on Longhorn as a whole. I’ve had plenty of good Longhorn experiences. In the words of Groucho Marx: «I’ve had a good time, but this wasn’t it.»

We stopped in on a holiday weekend Saturday night. It was crowded but we were seated within 10 minutes. Bread was fresh baked and still warm. We had a very nice asparagus with cheese appetizer. Our entrees came out promptly and were very tasty. Not remarkable but tasty. Even though this is nominally a steakhouse I recommend the grilled shrimp. We’ve been to this restaurant several times, enjoyed it every time and will certainly go again.

We like to frequent the bar. Friendly people– not very big, no kids usually. Food: love the chicken tender salad. Not on menu at night but they will get it for you. We tried the filet wrapped in bacon recently – yumm. It was pricey, but we split it and had more than enough with the two sides.
