Mediocre at best. Really delicious focaccia bread started our meal. Greens salad was over dressed. I had the San Remo pasta dish. The sauce was too garlicky and too thin for the thicker noodle. The chicken in the dish was tough and overcooked. We tried the lasagne which was very good, except it needed more of the tomato sauce. Overall just OK, with so many restaurants, not worth another visit especially for the price.

Upgrading to a five. The shrimp scampi appetizer had a great sauce and was beautifully cooked. Fabulous marinara on the chef’s special. The crème caramel dessert was«lick the plate» good.

Vincenzo’s, is a gem hidden away in West Concord. Bethany, the manager, has Celiac and knows the perils of eating out. The food was wonderful, the servers friendly and knowledgeable. This restaurant is only a mile from my house. Why haven’t I eaten here? Perhaps, the previous problems at other Italian restaurants have made me wary. Don’t wait. If you want a nice Italian meal this is the place to go and well worth traveling to. Highly recommended.

Please don’t tell anyone else about this place. It’s one of my favorite hidden little Italian places!(Even though it’s on a main road and in a busy shopping center.) They make nearly everything in house but the commuter rail train tracks are literally out the back door, the rumbling might take some unawares.

we been there for a holiday lunch for the whole team. there are some things I really don‘t like. 1. it‘s very cold and you have to eat with your jackets on. 2. the food is not bad but very small quantities.

Food was ok. We were happy with the service which made up for the food somewhat. Atmosphere could be improved.

I have never had a good experience in this place. The food, the service, and the drinks are all bad. The service is consistently slow and horrendous especially when it can be completely empty and take 20 minutes for a drink. I have been dragged here many times and every time I moan and groan like a teenager, angry I have to go.

Decent food and friendly service. I liked the complimentary garlic bread! Nice touch. Too much onion in the meatball sauce and too much garlic in the shrimp scampi(I’m still tasting it strongly the day after). Veal parm was pretty good. I like that they have half size pasta portions and interesting specials.

Have enjoyed several dinners there. Tried them for catering a dinner for 16 at our home. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The location is great for us as we live in the neighborhood! The food is good and the waitstaff is excellent with the exception of the bartender. He was unattentive and my husband sat with an empty glass for most of the dinner! The worst part of the Vincenzo’s experience is the LIGHTING! It’s lit up like an Applebee’s! We want to love it but it is WAYTOBRIGHT for a quiet romantic dinner. The lighting kills it for us…

Last night I was lucky enough to enjoy a glass of wine and their delicious chicken parmigiana and homemade marinara with some friends. We have the best time sitting at the bar, greeted by name, and checked on by the friendly owner. It’s our Friday night favorite place to be. It will be yours too.

As a friend lives nearby, I usually end up here about once a year. There has been a slow and steady decline over the years. Back in the day, even though it was previously a Brigham’s(or Friendly’s or so), it was a pretty good restaurant and the décor was ‘interesting’. They had some not run of the mill entrees and it was generally ‘pretty good’. After a recent visit, I was disappointed that the interesting décor was gone. Even the lighting was weird/bad in that it was very glaring(whole place is now lit by downward facing floodlights. it lost any sort of intimacy or softness. The menu is really unimaginative and just the usual suburban italian family fare. You know, some piccata, marsala, parm. etc. And I was floored by the ‘specials’ which, I kid you not, consisted of a risotto and 6 !! different types of burgers. Excuse me? Burgers? Did I just get transported to the ‘99’ down the street? Of course the burgers tried to be artsy but they have no place in anything pretending to be an italian restaurant. The meals we had were executed as well as they needed to be. I’ve had much worse and much better. Bottom line: ‘good enough’ as long as you don’t expect too much. If you’re in the area and want to grab some dinner it’s fine but it’s definitely not worthy of a trip. 2 – 2.5 stars Update: 7⁄2015 Went back again last night. At least the burger app’s. were gone and replaced by a decent calamari dish and several others. Surprisingly, you cannot actually get spaghetti or linguine as a side dish, only angel hair or too-wide fettucccine or some penne/rigatoni. None of those are appropriate and what is the fascination w/angel-hair? It’s insubstantial in most dishes. The dessert(some encrusted gelato) was enjoyable and the patio was nice(albeit overlooking the parking lot). The waiter was fine and attentive. Number of stars: unchanged.

Just had a date night here with the hubs. We had a great experience. The spaghetti bolognese rivaled what I have had in Italy, and the garlic bread was delicious.

This a a really good«count on it spot!» Being able to eat local is a treat in Concord as you just had the 9’s for years and Vincenzo’s has morphed into a step up from the old restaurant in the same location. Certainly the reviews from pre 2011 or the renovation should be eliminated? We eat there at least once a week. Usually at the bar and dining with bartender Dave. When dining on the floor, we enjoy Lesley! Favorites from the appetizers are always the soups, rice balls, bruschetta, and then there are Vinny’s meatballs. These are the real thing made with a mixture of meats and seasoning with a very good marinara. The calamari dish has been around for awhile and although popular I would like it with a cocktail versus mustard sauce. Main courses for us consist of the salmon, pizzas, bolognese, lasagna, and frankly all of the pasta dishes are very good. Service is usually fast and there is a great camaraderie at the bar.

Ate here last night, the first time back after quite some time. We had memories of very good food, but were quite disappointed yesterday. Caprese salad with prosciutto had too-thick slices of watery beefsteak tomato, rubbery mozzarella and piles of prosciutto — I know, prosciutto is yummy and expensive and all that, but it was completely out of proportion. My minestrone — something that’s supposed to be thick and hearty — was watery and tasteless. The risotto was risotto in name only; definitely not cooked with arborio rice nor prepared properly. The service was not particularly good either. I think we were asked three times if we needed ‘a few more minutes’ within 5 min. of sitting down. Someone in a hurry to get home? On the plus side — it is a nice cozy space and my son liked his ravioli. I don’t think we’ll be back though, except maybe for a drink at the bar.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Came here for lunch with some coworkers and had a delicious meal. The service was exceptional and the server and manager both came over to make sure our food was ok. We had risotto, eggplant parmigiano with fettucini pasta and margaritas. We watched as the bartender(manager?) made the margaritas and he really put a lot of effort into them. It was less expensive than buying a salad and cookie at the local grocery store. Yum, will definitely go back soon!

Def mediocre to say the least. My friend and I came in and everyone just looked around before the waitress handed over the menus to the hostess who tried to act very proper but ended up being stand-off-ish. The tables are for 2 and 4 with very little room. My friend said that all the color reminded him of a crappy Mexican restaurant! When ordering from the menu, I correctly said the Italian name and the waitress looked at me like was speaking Chinese. I had to literally point! Ridiculous. The prices are too high for the less than average food. I will not be coming back, too bad because I love Italian American food!!;

My food was good. It was nothing stellar. I have had better. The service was OK. I was just glad to be able to spend some quality time with my co-workers outside of the office. This is how they scored four stars from me.

We frequented Vincenzos since it first opened many years ago, and found it to be a reliable if not top rate neighborhood Italian restaurant. But when we returned last night after a long absence we were thoroughly impressed. The menu is more extensive, the specials more adventuresome, and the food top notch. They offer a reasonable assortment of wines by the glass, with even an occasional special.(The Malbec went great with bistecca and gorgonzola.) They’ve even downsized some of their desserts to proportions more suitable for us older folks. The service was competent and attentive. The remodeling is nice and the noise level even better than the previous revamp.(Version 1.0 was a reconditioned Brighams with a highly reflective ceiling.). No table cloths, but classy new furniture and cloth napkins. It’s still kid friendly for early dinner. But with all the family dining overtones we felt like we were in a classy place that was cheap at the price. We’ll be returning far more often.
