CPR Cell Phone Repair

A month ago I had my screen repaired here. After about two weeks, the screen began to have issues. I didn’t think much about it. The place is about an hour from me, so I figured I could just live with it for a little bit. Then, the screen went completely black/​grey so I couldn’t even use the phone. I thought, «No big deal, it’s under warranty. I’ll just go get it fixed». I drove an hour and explained what happened (to the owner). He looked at it and immediately started blaming me for dropping it and pushing too hard on the screen, when I had never dropped it. I pushed hard on the screen trying to get the touch screen to respond (the day I brought it in). There was a tiny black mark, in the corner, from the pressure. He made me feel guilty like I had done something wrong and then said they don’t fix phones that have been dropped under warranty. I needed it fixed and thought he would at least give me a discount, so I had it replaced again. He charged me full price and then said, «I can give you a $ 10 coupon since you were just here less than a month ago.» I am not the type of person to rip off a local business or get smart with someone that is providing me a service. But, at this point I said, «oh wow, how generous. So I guess if you spend $ 260, you get $ 10 off! What a deal!» He then threatened to remove the ten dollar «discount». The conversation continued, and I left saying that what you’re doing isn’t right.
I never write reviews on here, but If I had dropped my phone, I would have admitted to it and had it fixed at the price asked and been satisfied. I understand that this is a business, but they swindle customers and provide terrible customer service. I was a returning customer, I really liked it the first time I went because I thought they used better parts and I looked at the reviews on here (and they were good). However, I quickly found out that the warranty is not honored and their prices are way too high for the quality they provide. Don’t be fooled, like I was, into thinking that the extra cost is worth the warranty. There is no warranty. You should definitely take your business elsewhere.

These guys are awesome! I’ve had my cell phone repaired here a couple of times before and they’ve done an awesome job! The price is reasonable and they get things done on a timely manner. I think they are family owned, which I like, since I know that the data I have in my phone is safe. I just came in there today to see if he could pull out a broken headphone jack out of my daughter’s iPad. He pulled it out and didn’t charge me for it!!! I highly recommend CPR!

I don’t usually feel compelled to write reviews but this is the exception! These guys are great! Came in to purchase a phone after mine had fallen off the hood of my car going 50mph and run over by another car… They offered to try to repair it and if unsuccessful, there would be absolutely no fee. I seriously didn’t think it could be salvaged at all.
In less than an hour I walked out with a brand new looking phone for basically the cost of a replaced glass face! AH-​MAZING! Thanks, Woodlands CPR!

Dropped my phone and the glass shattered. My friend recommended CPR and I made the call. I was able to get in really quick and was out the door even faster. Excellent service great price. Thanks guys I really appreciate the awesome customer service.

Just had my iPhone cracked screen fixed in 10 minutes. Even cheaper than doing it myself. They even solved a repair problem on my laptop that Fry’s couldn’t fix! How’s that for service?! Thanks guys!:)

Had my sons IPhone 5’s screen replaced. It cracked within an hour without dropping. Took it immediately back… owner Larry said wound not repair it. Wouldn’t really look at it. I said must have been installed wrong. He said their 6 month warranty did not cover any breakage. Not happy. Took to Apple and they would not even repair cause it had been worked in by a Non Apple service center with inferior parts. Really not happy. Poor poor quality at CPR repair.

I had my broken glass replaced on my phone. The phone looks brand new, like it never happened. They were pretty fast, too, just a couple of hours even though I was third in line for repairs.
They fix just about everything, not just cell phones. Any electronic device, scratched CDs, etc.

Great place. Took my iphone, which fell into the lake and was left in the water for about 15 minutes. Amazingly cleaned all the muck out of the phone and brought it back to life. They used a process of cleaning it out and putting it into an oven to dry it out. My phone works perfectly. All my contacts, pictures etc– still there! These guys really know their stuff. The prices were reasonable. Don’t give up on your broken or water damaged electronics– there may be hope!
