Pretty good food, I really enjoy the crunchy taco here, it’s different than the crispy taco (standard crispy tacos). The salsas here are also very good. Prices are good, lunch prices are amazing! Service is always quick, friendly and attentive.

Food was good once we finally got it. Kept switching servers on us, we were there for about 45 minutes once we even had our order taken. It was a wed night, place wasn’t busy. Service was just very unprofessional, no reason it should take that long to have your order taken. The frozen margarita tasted more like a slushy, so I ordered on the rocks, that was more tequila friendly.

I went to have dinner on a Thursday night because I had a coupon. The Unilocal reviews I read were good so I thought I would give it a try.
I ordered Pily’s which is enchiladas with the white cheese sauce that was recommended. I was not impressed. The chips were not warm and I had to remind the server that I ordered a soda. The restaurant was not very busy. I did not care for the food, so I would not go back even for a free meal.

I came here on the account that I read such great reviews… terrible thing to do! The service here is AWFUL! We got here at 5:53p and it is now 6:37 and just now being asked «are you ready order» and that’s after the waitress came over and asked if everything is ok??? Like wait, whaaaaaaht… can, we order our food please? And oh, ummm, complimentary queso please! Maybe we came on the wrong night.
Ok, it’s now 7:04p and they HAVE redeemed themselves… FOOD WAS GREAT!!! I had the Poblano Fajitas. That complimentary queso added a nice touch too.

Always good food and service. First let me say — oh the white queso. So good. The shredded chicken nachos are amazing as is the salad. I’m super picky about my meat and flavor and have never been disappointed with M&P. The Rita’s are great as are the cocktails. Parking– eh isn’t the greatest.

We recently moved to the Conroe area and have been picking new places to eat out at once a week and decided to give this place a try last night. Ordered the yellow cheese dip and it was good, but we will try the white next time after reading the reviews. Everything we ordered was great! Service was great too! The only negative thing I have to say is we were seated in the bar area and there was an overwhelming smell, not sure what it was. We will be coming back again, but next time we will ask to be seated in the dining area, but all in all, great place!

We may have found our go to tex mex in Conroe. White queso is as others have raved. Very quaint and basic dinning room. But very well attended food. Everyone loved their main course. Great service to top it off.

The service has declined drastically. 8 busy tables and 10 wait staff is more than enough. But the wait staff just stood around the computers laughing. Time to find a new place.

In other news: their food is excellent, their bar tenders are superb, and the service is always on point. Overall in a town that is inundated with Mexican food restaurants this is the one to be at. This is one of the hidden gems of Conroe.

Another great experience, welcoming and attentive staff, excellent Tex-​Mex cuisine. Great chips with red and verde salsa. We had the Acapulco combination plate and the Chicken Alfredo with shrimp, outstanding! Great choice for Tex-​Mex in Conroe.

Nice, clean restaurant with a seemingly good staff, but had a lunch special and would have rather had Taco Bell. Bland food, but happy hour specials looked good if you want a drink.

This restaurant is the favorite of my 13 year old and 16 year old. We eat there 2 – 3 times a month on Tuesday Nights. The servers are very friendly, food is very good and the restaurant is clean.

I come here every few months when I’m in the Conroe area. I order the stuffed avacado which is good and filling. On my last visit they under cooked it to where it was still cold. I didn’t have time to have them make me a new one so they comped our meal. I’ll still go back and order it again, I think this mishap was a fluke.

Very good! We got ceviche and a variety of enchiladas. The white queso was excellent. Not hot at all but good flavor. I had cheese and beef enchiladas covered in it. My wife had cheese enchiladas covered in the white queso and beef fajita.

Worst tasting fajita I have ever had. The chips were old and cold and tasted like they were fried in motor oil. The service was worst than the meal. I would go eat at Taco Bell before going back here.

We discovered this restaurant shortly after moving. It is a family favorite! The service is fantastic and treat the kids with extra special service. They have kids eat FREE, 4 days a week! The margaritas are on special daily, which are fabulous! Their churros are extra special because of the special dressings offered.
