Milstead Service Center

I was told bad things about Milstead but I thought I would give them a try.
Took my car in to be inspected, which would cost $ 40.
They tell me that several of my lights are out and it’s gonna cost $ 200 to fix them… first thing in my mind is «WTF are you talking about?»
The quote was $ 75 for tail light, $ 75 for license plate lights and $ 60 for turning light.
I took the car home to do it myself, I stopped at Autozone to buy a few bulbs ($ 15 total), easily changed the tail light but it still wouldn’t work.
Checked the manual and it said that the left tail light and the license plate lights are fed by the same fuse.
Pulled the fuse out, it was burned, bought another fuse for less than $ 5 and all of a sudden, like magic, my tail light and license plate lights were working for $ 20 and 20 minutes of work with one Phillip screw driver.
I still have to fix the turning light, but my guess is that is gonna be just as easy.
I’d hate to see how much they quote for anything that is harder than replacing light bulbs.

Customer service is horrible. Over priced. And mechanics who have no clue what they are doing. Had to find a different repair shop. Stay away!!!
