North Houston Horse Park Carousel Farms

I came to NHHP after being away from riding for almost two years. My recent experience with lessons in Houston had not been great. I could not find a trainer or facility I felt like I «clicked» with. After some research and recommendation from a friend, I found NHHP!
I cannot say enough about the teaching ability of the staff at NHHP. From day one, they evaluated my riding ability, and have tailored my lessons, helping me build confidence and challenging me at the same time. Each week Melany, Carli, and Kelly show me how much they care about their students and their horses. I have always felt safe and respected. I wish I could spend more time there! I’ve been with NHHP for two months now, and I’ve far exceeded the goals I set for myself. I never dreamed I’d learn to jump

I would also like to express my opinion of this horse park not only as a trainer & staff member of the facility, but also as a boarder, client & student at North Houston Horse Park (with over 25 years of experience, across multiple states, in the equestrian industry over my lifetime.)
I have been at this facility for quite some time now &, as quite a few others have stated, I too couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. The owners are so passionate about their sport & not only their animals but mine & every clients as well. The facility is meticulously maintained & the owner spoils us all with the best, most (nearly obsessively) manicured footing I’ve ever come across. My own personal horse has been at the facility with me for as long as I’ve been there & he has never been happier. He was comfortable & acclimated immediately upon arrival (NOT his normal attitude toward a move) and the owners seem to love & adore him almost as much as I do. The people there are genuinely happy (how could we not be with how great this place is?!) and the coaching that I have received from owner Melanie has brought me & my horse so far in our ability & so much closer as a pair. We have the greatest lesson/​school horses I’ve ever come across & in our riding school (& every aspect of the equestrian lifestyle we lead) we are all about safety &, most importantly, FUN! As a professional, I am proud to call North Houston Horse Park home for me, my current horse, & ALL future horses throughout my career. Happy Acres & it’s people are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me & I’ve never seen owners bend over backwards as much as Carli & Mel do for our people & their horses. I will NEVER go anywhere else & am so looking forward to the bright future ahead for them, for myself, & for our clients & students.
