Stopped in once across noon coming back from morning work. Just a small friendly place; a little too dim for my liking. Local police hang out in there at lunch time. I –never– have«wings» anywhere so I cannot comment on them as others have. And with Conway Pizza across the road, there was no excuse for food. All this said, the parking is adequate, the Lounge in conveniently located in Conway. I expect it has a decent, repeat neighborhood clientele. And is not yet another cookie cutter«theme» chain with 14 competing TV blaring out different sports… f8 and be there.

Mr. J and I stopped here last night on the recommendation of a friend and fellow Unilocaler. I had a bad experience with wings the other day and she told me that if I liked my wings crispy, to give the Lounge a shot. Conway is far for us, but we were somewhat near there on one of our journeys to Frank’s in Ambridge. I had ordered the dry rub«wing dust» on my wings and Mr. J had the buffalo(with sauce). I have longed for a good dry-rubbed wing since grad school where Madison Gardens had some amazing wings! The Wing Dust wings were very good! Crispy and full of flavor. I’m not sure what the actual mix of spices are in the dry rub, but it’s a little smokey, a little spicy, and just a tiny bit sweet. They did, however, forget my blue cheese dressing, which would have made these killer… but I managed with some ranch. Mr. J also said that the buffalo wings were good and got to be fairly spicy after the first couple of wings. The Lounge has over a dozen wing sauces and rubs… which surprised the heck out of me since this place is a very dive-y bar.
