Basically, this review is being done to compliment Johnny who redeemed himself on more than one occasions since my last Unilocal.I want to thank Johnny for stepping up to the plate. When he had the opportunity to serve us, he did it very professional and he anticipated our needs. So, Johnny, job well done!!!

NO FISH TACOS?!? My favorite item was taken off the menu. Tried the chicken bella, it was pretty good. It’s a Ruby Tuesday so garden bar and the menu is the same. So the service makes the difference. I prefer a table but settled for the booth. Michael might have been one of the best waiters I have ever had. His attention to detail was great. Brought me stuff before I asked. Like lime and lemon slice for my drink, in case I wanted them and an extra napkin. Just the right amount of attention. Very polite young man a credit to the restaurant and his parents. And no I am not related to him.

I usually enjoy coming here because of the salad bar. But yesterday the greeter was very nonchalant. And I felt like we had bothered her day. Her expression said it all. We stood there for a while before we were even acknowledged. We should have left then. She asked us if we wanted a table or booth. My elderly friend which I call my adopted grandmother requested a table because of a disability. She pointed to a table by the wall near the walking entrance with a lot of foot traffic. I said no. Then she says oh I have a 1 o’clock reservation and said she didn’t have anything else for us but some table in the back with very high bar chairs. I said that want work, that would be uncomfortable for her. So I said never mind we will take our business elsewhere Thank you! Ruby Tuesday hire and train your people to have better customer service. It was still early so I can only imagine what her attitude would be like when it’s really busy.

Our food was really good. The coffee was okey-dokey. I can’t say much about the server since all of her attention went to my date. Good food but I don’t think I’d go back (unless he insists). I didn’t understand the décor like what theme they are touching on. Needs a revamp.

They get three starts for having a great salad bar. It is what it is. My food was great, I had the salad bar and the zuchini burgers, which are amazing. My friend has the app sampler and it was cold, gross, and really just sub par. Pat had the lobster mac and cheese, serves him right for ordering seafood in a land locked state!
We would come back for lunch. The mixed drinks can be fun. All in all some things on the menu are great and some you need to beware of. The nice thing is they do have some vegetarian fare, and will cater to your needs.

So, here’s the thing…
I would really like to give this Ruby Tuesday’s location 4 stars, but in reality its more like 3.5 stars.
The location is great, while the parking lot can get a little messy, for the most part the staff is fantastically friendly, from the hostesses to the bartenders and waitstaff, usually everyone is super welcoming and very accommodating.
I adore the veggie burgers here, they are made on site, no premade, frozen, preformed veggie patties here, and that’s something I can get behind. I think the fries are mediocre, but the salad bar is usually great, fresh and always tidy.
Usually service is pretty quick, however sometimes the food arrives looking rather sloppy, like there wasn’t enough care put into the plating and presentation, which usually I’m not anal about, however I don’t understand the sloppiness given I’ve never seen the place packed. I’ll let it slide, its still a solid place to get a tasty sammie…
