Cook Forest must stop. Go here every time I visit Cook Forest. Great food and friendly service. Yuengling somehow tastes better than usual here.

Burger was disgusting. Service was horrible. Lack of music = awkward silence. Never go here. Ever.

We stop here on a regular basis. There are not a lot of choices in this area. The service is always good and the food is always above average. I agree with previous reviewer, definitely could expand the draft beer selection.

Friendly people there. Great food! We all loved our meals. Started with the cabbage bacon soup, awesome. I had the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich w/Fries and Gravy, so delicious! My husband had their wings that were great and crispy. I would highly recommend this place for a good meal.

If there can be a neighborhood place in a rural area, this is it! Trail’s End is owned and operated by Missie & Susie, who are almost always on site cooking, serving, tending bar and ready for a chat– The menu covers everything from salads to steaks to soup and sandwiches. Their homemade chips are fabulous. They are located just outside Cook Forest note that they keep river hours, so if it’s not peak river season(or hunting season or fishing season), check the schedule! You may be in for a treat: Karaōke, live entertainment(music or comedy), themed party. The bar is welcoming and the décor is country forest casual. Bikers are welcome and 4WD are plentiful. Love the Patio in the summer…

Erratic hours, but some surprisingly good entrees — the salads are better than most in NW Penna, and the steaks are good, and I love the roast beef sandwiches(and I don’t even eat gravy). They could expand their draught beer selection, but are partially forgiven considering their interesting taxidermy bar décor. There are sort-of-separate family & outdoor areas.

If you like deep fried and burgers, this is your place. This place has been around a while. Old management ran a better shop. Fun to come back and visit.

We took a little detour as we drove past Cook Forest to check this place out. The service was very friendly. The food selection was good(even on the winter menu). The good itself was very good with decent sized portions. I had Cajun broiled cod, Mom had the special BBQ Pork ribs(of which there were only 1 serving left at 5:30) and my uncle had pork Parmesan. It was all very good. Would definitely recommend it for a casual dinner.
