Cooperstown Corn Dog Company

This is the kind of place you pop into, order quickly, eat and leave (those last 2 might not be in that particular order). You’d getting ballpark or carnival-​quality food here folks, I hate it when people complain because they were expecting caviar at a diner. Look at the place you are walking into and expect what you are getting. I am rarely surprised because I eat my life by that motto.
The girl behind the counter was personable and accommodating. The corn dogs, while advertised as flavored, really weren’t. If I tried really hard, I could lightly taste the cilantro every now and again, but it really wasn’t much more than a corndog. I liked the fried pickles, but do recommend they switch from spears to chips for proper food-​to-​breading ratio (and mention that the pickle included with the meal is a fried pickle, not just a regular one). The fries were things of beauty though – perfectly fried, with crunchy exterior and soft insides, with a perfect amount of salt. The chipotle aioli sauce was a pleasant addition which wasn’t required, but definitely enhanced the fry experience.
A nice, quick bite when you’re running around the village.

Wish I could give less than one star. The «corndog» my fiancé and I were served was burnt, dry, and absolutely disgusting. When the person serving you contemplates serving you the food it makes you wonder about quality and cleanliness.

The food was delicious and quick. Not a lot of seating but it’s a quaint little place. I would definitely come back if I am in the mood for a good corn dog and fries.
