I went here for the 4th Grade and met most of my Coppell friends through here. Lived 3 blocks from here, right on Richmond Ct. It didn’t get much more suburban and friendlier of a neighborhood than this area for Coppell. There was a nice library in the middle of the school and a pretty big area for recess. My friends were from all kinds of backgrounds(race, income, housing, etc.), so for Texas, it was pretty diverse. Reflecting on it, at the time, I was the only Asian kid in the class, but I didn’t notice that stuff back then. When you compare it to the overcrowded and poorly funded public schools in the Bay Area, we had a pretty good deal at Wilson. My teacher was Ms. Gant, who was the coolest teacher in the 4th grade.
