Love this place. The pasta was great, and they have a great variety of wines(which is always a plus!!). In resume we had 2 plates of pasta, a Nutella pizza, 3 glasses of wine, 3 bottles of sparkling water… the total was $ 120 plus tax and tips. Definitely coming back !!!

Favorite new restaurant! Been there twice in the past week! Went to have dinner the first time on a Friday night, then the week after on a Sunday for lunch, both days the service was outstanding and the food was beyond delicious, it’s been a while since i have had such amazing Pasta Carbonara, waoo i mean wao, the best Carbonara in Miami, creamy, delicious, pasta cooked al dente, just perfection! We also had the lobster ravioli, the Fusilli with chicken and the Pizza Capricciosa, everything was delicious! Dessert is a must!! Also they make my favorite drink! Aperol Spritz and they have happy hour every day i think starting at 2pm(not sure)/ also the restaurant is very nicely decorated and has great ambiance! It can’t get any better, love it.

Definitely a nice spot for drinks and light conversation. The dimly lit locale is nice for couples and small groups as well. The white Sangria was phenomenal. The fresh blueberries, grapes, and strawberries gave it the«sangria fruit» touch. My boyfriend and his mother both had the risotto with fresh clams, mussels, and shrimp which I couldn’t help and steal a taste. Delicious! I had the lobster filled ravioli. Exquisite meal and the portion was just right. For dessert my boyfriend and I shared a Nutella based dessert that was definitely Nutella but not to the point of repugnance. The service was great. The server suggested entrées and was quick to bring our drinks… She also gave her honest opinions which I like to hear when I ask for them.

My family and I celebrated my nieces 16th birthday here. The food was good but not worth the expensive prices. Anyway, we paid for drinks and a lot of food as we had a large group. We saw two parties being sung happy birthday to with cake and singing. Want to know how they said happy birthday to my niece? They wrote«happy birthday» on her back with a pen. Not much else to even say. I won’t be coming back here again.

I am giving a one star because of the manager. We ordered a burrata dish and on my last bite there was a HAIR that I ended up putting almost in my mouth!!! I told the waiter(who was very nice) and he told the manager. The attitude of the MANAGER for the rest of the evening was despicable… He avoided our table and everyone I looked at him he made a bad face. I don’t understand why because as we ate all of the dish before finding tha hair, we never asked for free food or anything… And he dismissed us. At the end we had a check of $ 300 between two people(we ordered a lot of food) and we still paid the burrata and not even an apology from that petty MANAGER. But the food was very good… Too bad for the manager that should be working in a place with no people. I think his attitude was very distasteful and rude.

This Italian eatery and wine bar has become one of the greatest spots in Coral Gables. I’ve been coming to this place for over four years and never been disappointed. Our party of four ordered the polenta fries from the appetizers. Cooked so perfectly! We also ordered the radicchio + endive sweet gorgonzola salad, the baked eggplant and the chopped raw tuna. They also have some crafted beers even though it’s not on their menu. Peroni beer was my favorite. Everything was delicious and the attention to detail was flawless! I’ll definitely continue coming back to this restaurant.

Second time here and it was as delicious as ever!!! Was a Thursday night and we got our food at record speed. To start off with, a friend ordered burrata cheese: O and it was super milky! Yummy who can resist fresh cheese and rosemary bread I had a mushroom pasta and subbed in papardelle instead of fusilli(beware 3 $ upcharge!!!) :(((wasn’t warned by the waiter then ended the night with DELISH Nutella pizza :* 4 stars for the stinky upcharge didn’t feel was justified but otherwise v good food v good company v good service v good atmosphere

My mother and I went out for dinner in Coral Gables for the first time yesterday — she lives in Broward and she rarely goes out anywhere in Miami. She was in the mood for pasta & wine, so I decided to take her to Cibo Wine Bar, as per a good friend’s recommendation. We walked in at around 6.30 pm. The bar and the outside area were full of people who were there for happy hour. The place looks very elegant, dark and cozy. As we sat down in the restaurant seating area, our server, Alan, explained that it was happy hour and that we could order any bottle of wine on the ‘wine by the glass’ list for half the price. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir, which was amazing and even more so for the price($ 24). As soon as we ordered the bottle, Alan immediately brought complimentary bread and olives over to the table. The bread was warms and already cut in smaller pieces ready to be enjoyed – a perfect touch that set the mood for the remainder of the dinner. We ordered and shared the following plates: SPINACHSALAD — with cranberries, oranges, figs & brie cheese — Amazing combination of flavors. The oranges were on point! The brie cheese was cut in small pieces and the crust was left on, we both agreed was good in this salad since it added texture and taste(although some people might not eat the crust). Finally, the dryer figs, cranberries and pine nuts added the necessary texture to the salad. PIZZA — with tomato sauce, mozzarella, eggplant, mushrooms and black olives. What was interesting about this pizza is that each section of the pizza had a different vegetable as opposed to mixing them all up on the pie. The pizza was thin crust and tasted good enough. PASTA A LAVODKA with pancetta — By far my favorite dish! The taste of the sauce was amazing and the pasta was cooked perfectly al-dente. Highly recommended! For desert, the options were nowhere as interesting as the options for all other items on the menu. This is probably the reason I cannot give this place a 5-star rating. We ordered the LEMONRICOTTACHEESECAKE and my mother ordered an expresso; the cheesecake was just blah and did not impress either of us, leaving us a little disappointed since everything else(including the coffee) was so delicious! The food, the service and the ambiance was great! I highly recommend it if you happen to be in the Coral Gables area.

I loooooovee loooooove Cibo!!! They sure know how to do Italian food more than well!!! I have yet to try a dish I don’t like!!! Oooooooh and the BREAD!!! Their homemade rosemary and sea salt complimentary starter bread is to die for!!! I aaaaaalways end up asking for seconds, because ahem, I must take some home with me! :p hint hint. I have been to both locations here in the Gables and in SOBE and both are very spacious! They offer enough room to host private events or big groups ;) However, this is my favorite location because it’s close to work, easy to get to, plenty of parking around, and just perfect for having great conversations and catching up with friends! You can choose to sit either inside or out! Also, very important to mention… They have a tasty and very very very reasonably priced lunch menu starting at $ 18 for a 3 course meal(but have other single meal options starting at $ 10) and a fixed brunch buffet menu at $ 35… And absolutely everything is delicious! So have your pick: p The ONLY reason I gave a 4 vs 5 is because the ‘wait’ staff tend to be on the slooooow side… So be sure you go with ample time and no rushing :) enjoy!

This review is for Sunday brunch only. Pro: — good selections of food. Cold appetizers include shrimp ceviches, wide selections of smoked meats and cheese, and breakfast pastries. — friendly staffs. Pick up your plates right away when you walked away for next round — good atmosphere and good price for drinks Con: — some of the food are not freshly made in the restaurant. In other words, they taste frozen. — no drinks are included in the buffet. You would have to purchase a drink even if it is coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice Sunday brunch though especially when they run groupon deals.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last 5 years! It’s right across tarpon bend so the ladies & I start happy hour here and then work our way to tarpon and around the rest of gables. Ambiance is very important to me and although it can be a bit loud the energy is always upbeat. Since I’m a vegetarian I can’t speak on any of the meat dishes but they’ve always accommodated me on all substitutions which is also a plus. Great for date nights ;)

Came here last weekend for a last minute Sunday brunch. We made reservations the same day for 1:30, arrived on time and got seated right away, so we’re off to a great start!! The place was pretty packed, so definitely make a reservation. Unlike other times that I have gone to new restaurants, I did not do my research on this place, and I had no idea what to expect – and that’s not like me at all. I was very pleased when I walked in though– but then again, I always am when I go to a buffet! It’s definitely more bang for your buck – and brunch is $ 35 pp., and it does not include drinks. but not need to fear, they had a list of bottles that were half of, so we bought a couple of champagne(Prosecco) bottles for only $ 15 each! While we waited for our waiter, we helped ourselves to some cheese, stuffed peppers, bread, etc. The waiter took about 25 minutes to get to us(OUCH), but on the Brightside, the busboy did take our drink orders and placed the necessary plate and cups for our party, so it wasn’t a painful wait. I am really upset with myself that I did not take pictures of their stations– I was too overwhelmed with all the food options. They had a meat section for you meat eaters, an omelet station for you breakfast fanatics, a pasta station for you carb enthusiasts, and my favorite. :drum roll: a PIZZA station for my fellow pizza lovers! Oh, they have a big desert table too. I am not big on desert, so I can’t rave about it that much. Overall, this place deserves to be checked out. The price is reasonable, the food is great, and they often have a Living social deal for 2 people for Sunday brunch for $ 35. You can’t beat that with a bat. *Note: I will be back, and will take pictures*

Defining day/time as I’ve heard during hectic times could make a difference in your experience. I came here with a friend on a Saturday at around 6pm. Happy hour was from 4pm to 7pm. Drinks are half off(always very appreciated) I had passed by but never been here before. It’s usually packed, being in Miracle Mile. There is some decent traffic around here. But not when I came. It was rather empty and people were showing up as I was leaving. I wanted to experience them when full pack, that’s when service shows its true colors. I love my experience. I was asked if I had reservation and frankly it was an spontaneous visit, didn’t plan to eat here. I was catching up with someone from middle school. WOW. They greeted us found us a table. The Place: The ambient was very nice, the décor, the lights dimming, the bar, the TVs, the different types of tables, booth and setup. I really enjoy the establishment. The service: Our server(Angelo) was very patient with us, since we didn’t have a clue where to start. Who wouldn’t take a little while in an Italian Restaurant. I wanted one of each. He provided great recommendations and couldn’t be happier. Some of them were having conversation with their customers. It was cool to see them engaged and not rushed by their duties. We were approached at least three employees, who came to check up on us. I thought they really cared for our experience and the quality of what we got. The food: The have a great selection of drinks. Wines, cocktails and like I said it was happy hour, so we got a house Pinot. My friend doesn’t drink at all and she enjoyed it. They initially bring a house bread free of charge that helped me with my appetizer. Much needed bread to balance some of the spices. It also came with some red olives(salty and great for your drinks and cheese) We got a Prosciutto Formaggio. This starter was a tablet with prosciutto not too dry, it was perfect. It also had hot salami that didn’t taste hot, but wait for it. It has a kick in about 30 seconds. I had never had this type and loved it. This tray had also Italian cheeses(creamy) Caponata, olives and fruits(three types) I would definitely order this again. We decided to go with pasta. My friend got a Shrimp Fettuccine. This came with a load(really) of shrimp in pesto sauce, Mascarpone cheese and tomato sauce. It was a lot of food for a lady and very tasty, the only struggle was that the shrimp had the tales and she had to cut them and set them aside. Not sure if this helps with the taste or simply their style. Not a deal breaker, just an observation. I went with a simple choice of Linguine with Chicken. It had slices of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and olive oil. It was delicious. Portion deceived me, it look small, but it was a deep plate and ended up in filling me up. This was a great plate, but it costs as much as my friend’s shrimp pasta. I thought it was weird but enjoyed it very much. Sadly, I didn’t have room for dessert. Manage to drink the bottle and enjoy the entire experience. I took care of my server very well. Pictures to follow.

Came here twice, once for a normal dinner on weekdays and were sitting outside, which was lovely and with a nice lively atmosphere. The second time was dinner and happy hour on saturday, sitting inside. I find both outside and inside sitting really good, intimate and comfortable to be with lovers or friends. The ambiance is one of best things of this place. The happy hour was really good, it last from 4pm to 7pm and we had a chance to enjoy really good wines. The food is not so cheap, but presented very well and easy to share between friends(we were 5). Food itself is quite good, ordinary, no big surprises here, just another italian restaurant with american taste. The pizza was somehow disappointing, we chose the one with anchovies and I found it too strong for my taste, and the dough too chewy. The steak was too undercooked. On the other hand, the fried zucchini and the cheese and ham mix were good, and I loved the way the came and the way the serve it in wooden or stone tables. The staff was good and fast to bring our food and drinks. Overall, a good experience for dinner, the food is not the best I have had amongst italian in Miami, but the ambiance really make it worth the dinner.

I came for brunch on Sunday. I was wavering between giving a 3 and 4 rating. I opted with the 4 because I actually really love the place itself. The bricks, décor, and ambiance is perfect. At first I was super excited to eat, they have a decent amount of variety even offering pizzas and pastas to order as part of the all you can eat brunch. I like the variety. The issue with MANY all you can eat brunches is quality, most of it is OKAY. The same was true here. The cold cuts, cheese, cold veggies, bread selections were all whatever. I took a bite of each just to try but not worth filling up on. They had a cordero and prime rib station which was nice. This was one of the strengths in their brunch. I also really enjoyed this fried cheese which had like rice or risotto in it(forgot exactly) …I dipped it in their gorgonzola cheese dip… hihgly recommend, prolly the best thing i ate that day for brunch. Warning… It’s super filling, heavy, and fatty! I was super excited to see a beautiful dessert station, but i found that NONE of the desserts were to my liking… super dissapointed, especially given the huge variety that they had on display. Ambiance really elevated an otherwise mediocre eating experience.

I’d give this 3.5 stars for its Sunday brunch. $ 35 for all you can eat and 50% off bubbly ranging from $ 29 a bottle all the way to $ 300s if you wanna get fancy :) 4 distinct stations: cold plates with BOMBASS Cheese and focaccia bread and meats; hot foods which I thought were okay. The polenta frites were the best with the Gorgonzola dip. 3rd station: Made to order food(pizza, pasta, salad). Pizza and pasta were good, didn’t try the salad. Lastly, can’t miss out on desserts. It’s nestled in a cute wine cellar room with about 10 – 15 varieties. Cannoli was my favorite, rest was ok. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant though! Very chic and warm! Wouldn’t do brunch again, but I’d come back and do a normal meal!

Amazing food! Great atmosphere! Wonderful service. Décor is gorgeous. We were a big party and we sat near the back, looked like we were dinning in a cave. Was able to enjoy Coral Gables Restaurant week(3 course meal for $ 30) started with the shrimp appetizer which was cooked to perfection. Very fresh shrimp. Dinner I chose the trout with season potatoes and veggies. Having never tried trout I didn’t know what to expect. Boy was I surprised. One of the most delicious piece of fish ever. Menu came with. Tiramisu which the table share and raved about. Definitely will go again! Tip: if you go before 7pm some bottles of wine & cocktails are ½ off
