I had a great experience with my brow wax. It was a simple service but the staff treated me very special nonetheless. I will be coming back here for a full massage with my husband. We have been to other elemis locations and this one is up to par with the rest of them.

I just had the fire and ice massage with oil. OMG! Over my whole life, this was one of the tops! Lissette was magnificent! I felt totally pampered!

I just called to book an appointment and spoke to the incredibly delightful Kirsty. She was kind, knowledgeable, & efficient. I LOVE this spa! My friends and I frequent it. It’s VERY small and not the place to go if you want to make a day of it. It has a small but very luxurious and cozy relaxation room. Their locker room is well stocked too. Staff is consistently fabulous. They are a full salon too — so you can add mani/pedi/haircuts to your spa treatments! The only possible downside is that there is no sauna or steam room.

We were shopping around at the Village of Merrick Park before our evening flight out and decided that we needed our nails done. Thanks to a tip from another store in the center we decided to check out Elemis. I am in love with their Collagen Marine Cream, so I went in with high hopes. It turns out they were able to squeeze us as walk-ins almost immediately! I got a mani-pedi and it came out to $ 60. Not bad considering some of the prices I pay back home. Although the treatment wasn’t anything extra, very basic, I was pretty impressed with how much care went into the health of cuticle and skin, especially during the pedicure. I literally came out with baby soft feet! So all in all, a good experience! I could have uses a bit more frills, considering this was a spa.

I visited Elemis Spa today for the first time & I was not disappointed. I purchased a Gilt City voucher & made an appointment for an 80 minute Swedish massage with a hot stone add-in. Julia was my therapist & she was awesome. She targeted the areas I needed most & provided a relaxing & much needed escape from reality! The service was great, everything was clean & smelled nice. My only complaint was the loud lady talking business on the phone in the«Calming Lounge» which was far from calming. Nonetheless, I very much enjoyed my time at the spa; I just purchased a massage for my mom for mother’s day! Thank you for a great morning!

Words can’t describe the relaxation I felt! From the moment I walked in I felt I was in the right place! The check in process was hassle free and everything was clean and with a sense of comfort! My therapist Maria was such a treat!!! I had a 100 min service that consisted of an amazing seaweed wrap and then a 50 min massage! I fell blissfully asleep! Looking forward to a future visit!

I went in today for a spa package and I am very pleased. I had a facial, massage, and hair treatment and blow dry. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional and very accommodating. I definitely will be going back.

I went to Elemis during Spa Month with my mom and we were both very pleased. I had a Swedish massage with the body scrub and it was very relaxing. My mom had the rejuvenation facial and her hair washed and dried. The ambiance is beautiful and very relaxing! The staff was great! When making the reservation, they ask to come 15 mi early but since we were the first appointments of the day, they didn’t open until our appointment time so we had to wait outside. Only suggestion is to open 15 min prior to make sure clients aren’t waiting and losing time for their services.

not worth the price. Not even worth the $ 99 travelzoo deal. Avoid this place at all costs. Spend your money somewhere else. Bad service, the therapists are terrible and the prices are ridiculously high. You can spend the same or less money in a beach spa with steam room, sauna and beach access and service.

I came for a mani/pedi over the weekend and was pretty disappointed. My appointment was at noon so I arrived about 5 minutes early. Someone else came in a little later for a noon appointment as well– but she gets called in before I do. It’s about 12:15 and I’m getting impatient so finally someone goes in to see what’s wrong. The technician is still cleaning up, she’s running late. Ok. Finally I get seated for the pedicure. During the pedicure she periodically gets up and vanishes for 5 – 10 minutes at a time, which I found extremely annoying. She does this during the manicure as well, and honestly I have no idea what she needs to go do during my appointment. I get that it’s a spa and pampering time but I also don’t want to stay forever! The whole thing took two hours! The kicker is that she didn’t even do a great job. The paint job is a little shoddy and I was annoyed that she passed acetone on my fingers FOUR times each! My cuticles feel uncomfortably dry now. Ugh. Never again. Overpriced for mediocre service at best.

I work across the street so would love for this to be my go to salon. I got the worse gel mani ever. Took almost 2 hours for a manicure!!! No color selection. The nail techs kept talking about me in Spanish(and I am Latina but blonde so they assumed I didn’t understand). She forgot topcoat so my nails felt tacky and argued with me when I asked for topcoat. Nails chipped in a couple of days. Awful service. Front desk people act like you are inconveniencing them or interrupting their conversation when you go to check in. Can’t say enough bad about this place. Rude rude rude and overpriced.

I love massages, but I also love to make it a whole day affair and love the atmosphere. It is really easy to park at this mall and it is a beautiful mall to walk around, just quite small. The massage was great but I just wanted more… It was an average spa and unless I see a deal on travelzoo again, chances are I would be drawn to spending my money elsewhere. There is no indoor pool/jacuzzi or things like that. But it is very nice, clean, and the staff is great! Plus you can have a great lunch at a restaurant in the mall!

This place was underwhelming. I stopped in for a pedicure while shopping. They fit me in pretty much right away with Ingrid. Good start. The experience went downhill after that. I was never offered anything to drink, though I did help myself. There was no place to put said drink by the spa chair so I was stuck with my shopping bags, purse, magazine, and drink trying to balance awkwardly. The pedicure itself turned out looking ok. The real problem I have it with how rough the technician was! She definitely cut my toe nails so short and filed them so low that they were cut. This sucks and stings, not to mention its gross. She was also very forceful which is not relaxing at all. Paying $ 40 +tip for this pedicure was a major mistake. I would’ve been much better off going to a nail salon and paying the $ 25-$ 30.

I bought my wife one of the deals thru Travelzoo — «75-minute massage, paraffin upgrade and scalp treatment» for $ 99. In addition, a glass of wine was to be had before or after the treatment. Basically what it boiled down to was: a massage with some grease worked into your scalp. They did NOT do the paraffin treatment and they did NOT offer her a glass of wine. So essentially it was just a 75-min massage for $ 99 — which is not really that special of a deal. Don’t be fooled by future TZ deals at this spa — their packages are«fluffed» with ticky-tack treatments like the paraffin treatment(i.e. wax poured haphazardly on your back as another reviewer experienced). While the massage was good, as one other reviewer commented — this place is bare bones. The shower was cold. There were no brushes for her to brush out her hair after the hair treatment — and the attendant/receptionist was LESS than helpful finding some(she never found any and didn’t seem to care). And to top it off — she wasn’t given enough«vouchers» to entirely cover her validated parking. Take your business to a more comfortable spa environment and one that doesn’t promise fluffy extras that it doesn’t even deliver.

I bought a voucher on Travel Zoo recently that allowed me any service up to $ 200 for $ 99. Since it was half off, I thought it was a great deal and didn’t hesitate much to buy it. I’m a regular at Bliss Spa, and since Elemis is their sister spa, I was expecting a wonderful experience. I set an appointment for a deep tissue treatment for 80 minutes and added on the paraffin. I’ve heard great things about paraffin, so I thought it would be great. Complete waste of my time and money! First off, when the therapist gets into the room, the first thing she does is stroke you with this buffing brush to «remove» excess dirt/germs. The brush literally felt like razorblades going through my skin. I told her it was painful and flinched a whole lot. She said she would be more gentle, but she wasn’t. Next was the paraffin, which I didn’t know much about. She poured it clumsily on to my upper back and was very careless. The paraffin dripped down my neck, my scalp, my arms… it was the messiest treatment I’ve ever experienced. She then stroked the paraffin on my back with a paintbrush for 15 minutes then peeled it off. I felt no difference. It was completely useless. Next came the actual massage. Just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get any worse, it did. I specifically told her my upper back was my main area of tension. She did not acknowledge it. I asked her once or twice again during the massage to focus on my upper back/shoulder area. She would barely touch it for a minute, and continue on to whatever it is she wanted to do. I was extremely upset. I can honestly say that I was counting down the minutes until the treatment was OVER! And that’s definitely not something you EVER want to experience while paying good money for a massage and trying to relax. I feel worse now than I did when I arrived at the spa. I’m more tense and am in much more pain. There’s the absolute bare minimum in the lounge. Bathrooms, sinks, changing rooms, and a regular shower. That is IT. And the music during the massage was unbearable. I don’t understand why anyone would think it was relaxing or appropriate. Overall, my experience was absolutely terrible. I will never stray away from Bliss again, which I love so very much. I recommend BLISSSPA to all. As for Elemis, I recommend it to no one. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Facilities are clean and everything is kept up nicely. My massage started 25 minutes late which made my service feel rushed. Not my first choice to revisit anytime in the future.

I love spa treatments but they can be pricey. However is Miami Spa Month and Elemis has amazing packgs that will normally cost 150+ for $ 99 although they don’t have sauna/steam rooms whirpools. the actual treatment rooms are really, really nice, they do have a salon where I hear from friends who are regular customers that the hair, mani and pedi services are amazing. After your treatment you receive a little gift bag with 3 certificates each worth $ 20-$ 25 for future services. I will continue to enjoy spa month but will try other Spas. Elemis is a winner.

Its a day spa — there is no pool, sauna, steam room, etc. So if you are looking for an all day spa ritual, this isn’t the place to go. I went for a 50 minute massage and it was great for just that. As soon as I checked in, the woman at front desk helped me to the changing room and the calming room(so yes, there is poor signage, but I got lucky in this respect). The spa is beautiful — i felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. The changing room was clean and organized. The calming room was zen like and very relaxing. It was stocked with lemon water, water bottles, juices, teas, grapes, cheese, trail mix, and milano cookies. The chairs were comfy and the lights were dim. Magazines were available. I had the 50 minute stress relieving well-being massage. Prior to starting, the masseuse asked about trouble spots and preference on pressure. First, the body is brushed to remove dead skin… and then the massage began! My eyes were covered with a cloth that smelled of lavender. The massage included a face and scalp massage at the end. It was great — very relaxing, exactly what I was looking for.

You know, I keep going to this place in hopes that it will get better – but it doesn’t. You always need an appt. because I don’t think they even have manicurists there for walk-ins. They get called in. It doesn’t matter who does my nails, it never turns out right and the manicure does not last more than 2 days when I expect at least 5 days. I took one of my BFF’s there, thinking we’ ll have a nice, soothing spa experience. But the place was dead silent – not even any music. It almost felt awkward talking to her. I felt rushed. It was not a pleasant experience and even though it is clean and close to my office. It has potential and perhaps that’s why I’ve given it so many chances. I just refuse to pay $ 80(w tip) for a crumby mani/pedi.
