Yes, that’s right I am a fan. Delicious food, fresh and well made, we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and she was enchanted by the Parislike little café, I had the Croque Monsieur and a Café au lait, perfect and we had crepes for dessert. The waiter Paula was quick and very helpful explaining the menu, my only complaint is that the waiter was alone to serve the whole place, and it was full, what mean that we have to wait for her to be able to gave us the ticket and to charge the credit card. But it was not her fault at all, she was great and the food is amazing, another good note was the background music, Edith Piaff, oh la la! nice without being loud. We are going back!

The food was good, however the service could’ve been better. I was extremely patient and ended up waiting 20 minutes past the time I was told my take out order would be ready, when I asked the waitress if it would be ready soon she said she’d go check, went to the back, came back and yet never gave me a response. I also ordered a chocolate croissant but received a regular croissant, this was disappointing.

Before yesterday, the last time I had gone to Le Petit Café was on Black Friday 2014. I enjoyed it then and I enjoy it now. I have no idea why it took me so long to come back. Walking into Le Petit Café, it’s like walking into a mini bistro. There are a plethora of sweets that immediately catch your attention, as well as decorations à la Parisienne. The Eiffel Tower is in one corner, a French flag is behind the counter, and just many trinkets that scream this place’s origins. Very chic. Returning once more, I was greeted politely and immediately ushered to a table with a menu in hand. I was given a few recommendations and opted to order a Mexicaine crêpe. It was as delicious, if not more so, than what I remembered. The Mexicaine crêpe consists of chicken, peppers, onions, and I want to say corn. All I know is the combination of flavors was like an explosion in my mouth. Absolutely fantastic. It was accompanied by some salad, and well, after all of my food, I opted to try a cappuccino. The cappuccino was heavenly; the whipped cream, the cinnamon, the coffee itself made me feel like I was on cloud nine. The coffee without sugar was perfectly flavored. Had it not been that I like sweeter coffee, I wouldn’t have put some sugar in. Regardless, it was breathtaking. Oh la la. I ended up buying a chocolate pastry for a coworker’s birthday and he loved it. I’ll have to get one for myself sometime. Other than that, I believe who attended me was Paula and she was a sweet Argentine lady. Interestingly enough, I thought she was French at first and she thought the same of me at first, haha. Who did end up being French was the chef, and well, my compliments to him. Overall, I had an amazing time; I can’t wait to go back, eat, relax, have some coffee, and maybe practice the three languages I speak(Spanish, English, and French) without confusing them.

I enjoyed my visit here. The small café truly made me feel like I was back in Europe as I waited for the gentleman to make my coffee. Ordered a cappuccino and an espresso. Both were made as expected and I really enjoyed the taste of my espresso. Not to mention the two drinks came out to be the price of one drink from Other coffee shops…- just over $ 5 for both! Chose to sit outside which was great. You’re able to watch people walk by and cars go by while you converse with someone at the other end of your table. It just really puts you in a relaxed mode where you can truly enjoy your time and your coffee. Overall I enjoyed the café and would recommend it to any coffee lover who wants to grab a mug and sit for a while.

This is my favorite restaurant. Very picturesque, very special spot. Food is great and staff is very friendly and great. I think this is my second review, just because I love it so much. You can people watch and sit on the sidewalk or you can sit inside and listen to great French music. I always eat the fried eggs with bread and potatoes. Special.

Came here for a solo Sunday morning brunch date. When I walked in no one greeted me and it was not clear if I should seat myself. I waited by the counter for someone to ask but when they arrived they neither offered me a table nor asked if I wanted to order at the counter. I had to explicitly explain that I would like to sit and order food since it was not offered to me. It just seemed strange. Once I was brought a menu it took a while for the server to appear. There were no descriptions of the items on the menu, which was not ideal as the crepes and sandwiches had French names. I ended up ordering an eggplant goat cheese tapenade sandwich and a coffee. They offer soy and almond milk but only whole milk as far as real milk goes. When my coffee arrived I had to flag down another server for milk. My sandwich was good but I had misunderstood and thought it would be whole pieces of eggplant and goat cheese with some type of tapenade spread on top instead of it all mixed together in the tapenade. It came with fresh greens which were quite tasty for such a simple side. I had to flag down the server again to request water. No one asked how my food was or offered me a coffee refill. I enjoyed my meal, but was not blown away. I will definitely be trying other restaurants in the area before venturing back to experience part two of their mediocre service.

I had been curious about this place for a while and finally had a chance to come for Sunday brunch… Walking in was kind of odd, nobody behind the counter acknowledged us. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to order there or at a table. Decided to grab a few menus and take a seat. Also, they didn’t have much to offer for pastries which I found really surprising for a café. They had maybe 5 fruit tarts total, 2 quiches, and one other dessert. The menu was poorly done but I figured perhaps that was just because it was a casual café. I ordered the classic crêpe, my sister ordered scrambled eggs, and a Nutella crêpe. It took about 30 minutes for our food to be served. Since I was chatting with my sister I didn’t really make a big deal of it but the place was practically empty. When our food finally arrived it was another 5 minutes before we got someone’s attention to bring us utensils. And it took even longer to get the orange juice that we ordered when we first sat down. Also, no ice whatsoever to go with the water. The cappuccino wasn’t good… I consider myself a coffee lover and I didn’t even finish it. While we were eating there was a table that actually got up and left because they waited so long and were never attended… The crepes were good but not sure if I would really go back for them. I don’t usually write reviews like this but it really wasn’t a pleasant café experience.

Exactly as described by other reviewers, this little hole in the wall stands out only because of the checkered tablecloths sitting outside. I went here for lunch after seeing that they had a Croque Madame on the menu. It was everything I hoped and more. It came with a side of greens with a light dressing. I’m not usually big on salad but it was a great side to the sandwich. The melted cheese on top was excellent and all together each bite was great. When we were leaving I impulsively decided to get a chocolate mousse. I have to say that’s one of the best, if not the best, I’ve ever had. The top had a chewy consistency. Under that layer of goodness was the rich chocolatey smoothness of perfect mousse. It also had crunchy chocolate pieces on top. I’ll be coming back quite soon for another taste. It’s probably a great place for brunch too. Quaint and satisfying and not as pretentious as many of its Miracle Mile neighbors.

Five stars for the food, three stars for the poor service and ventilation. Le Petit Café is a charming French establishment tucked away on Miracle Mile and my type of haunt. I’ve been here once and had the salmon eggs benedict, which was very good. This time my party all ordered crepes — they have quite a diverse selection here, as should be expected. I say that the savory crepes are your best bet for brunch as they are filling and tasty while maintaining the distinct nature of the restaurant. However, we waited forever for our food, and our water glasses were constantly empty. Customers should not have to go out of their way to ask for water every time they finish their glass. The place itself was also quite humid and there was a pesky fly or two flitting around. Despite this, I would still return because the crêpe was that good.

Such a cute Parisian café! It’s a small restaurant with a lot of character. The scrambled eggs were delicious and fluffy! And we shared a Nutella and banana crêpe, huge and amazing! Love this place

I am currently and for the second time in a week in Le Petit café. For me and my husband it is the best spot on miracle for a fine breakfast/brunch. They have the best crepes in town, their smoothies are real heaven! They use very fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Oh! And the staff is so nice and accommodating that you feel that you’re at home! We recommend onion soup, croque monsieur, homemade chocolate croissant and you can’t go wrong with any of the crepes.

This is a small french restaurant located in Miracle mile, I found it really good for a big breakfast, lunch or brunch as they have very nice options. Food is really good and authentic(the staff is french), ingredients were very fresh and taste was amazing(go for the benedict eggs, it‘s a must). Pros: FOOD! delicious, big portions, authentic, many options(salty and sweet crepes, omelettes, sandwiches, eggs benedict, etc) Cons: the place is small, dark and not well ventilated, I went out from there with a strong food smell attached to all my clothes, hair, etc. And… I founf $ 13 for benedict eggs a bit pricey… though it was worth the try :).

In town for a wedding, search for french food in coral gables. This place pops up with some great reviews. Half block from our hotel. Walk over yesterday, quick café Au lait with baguette for breakfast before the wedding. Perfect service. Simple petit dejuener! Today, a nice french lunch before our departure. Wow! He remembered mom didn’t like too much foam and made her café Au lait without it. I never even asked! My husband’s french onion soup was authentic and amazing. My Croque Monsieur was out of this world. Our flight home will be restful because we filled up w this delightful meal. We will be back to the Petit Café. The only problem will be to curb our American gluttony at this authentic french café. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. :)
