By the photos, this looks like the new Subway that is on the UM Campus. If it is not, please let me know and I will remove this review. I saw many food handling violations while getting a sandwich there yesterday. This seems to be a trend at all of the subways. I won’t be back to this one. When you choose to equip your employees with gloves for food safety, they should be told that those are not«magic» gloves. They should be worn when touching food and not when touching anything else. Not the door handle and everything in the back room, not money and the cash register, and definitely not the gross cleaning towel that was used to wipe down the workstation. If you have to touch anything that is not food, the gloves come off, and a new set goes on before touching food. I think it’s worth 2 cents for food safety. The prep areas should never be wiped down with a towel, they should be scraped with a scraper or removed and disinfected. The most disgusting thing I see at EVERY Subway is that they take that filthy knife they have been using since open, they shove it up into your food so they can wrap the sandwich, and they cut it with that same knife that has been used on every sandwich since they opened. I am sure that some people would not like the fact that the knife that was used to cut something pork was now used on their sandwich.
