Foodgasm is how I would describe my experience here. We had the croquetas, ceviche, and salmon tartar… Delicious! Topped it off with the burger which was outstanding!

Our first experience at trust was a memorable one, all thanks to Julia. She was a wealth of knowledge and her hospitality was bar none. We will for sure be back on Sunday for brunch and only to see Julia.

Fairly new to the Gables, hidden a block away from the madness of Miracle Mile, Trust & Co. is definitely a sight for sore eyes — spacious + beautifully built with a rustic classic décor. I had several starters — Croquettes, Pork belly, Chicken Wings, and Irish Crispy Potatoes. I also had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with fries. While you can tell the menu was well thought-out, the execution was subpar at best. Service, thankfully, made up for it. Our bartender’s name was Luis and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. He made a Jameson Mule for me(because I absolutely LOVE Moscow Mules) using Jameson Whiskey. At that point, it was evident that their whiskey based craft cocktails are what would keep this place popping! I’d come back for happy hour and drinks but not for the food.

New spot in the neighborhood! Def is bringing a different vibe to the area. I honestly wanted to try everything on the menu. We started with dates, salmon tartare and shared the fig and serrano flat bread. Everything was amazing and the salmon tartare was our favorite. Craft cocktails were on point. Luis was our bartender. He was really knowledgeable on the menu and even made me a fun drink he calls«ready to whip». Overall great experience and well be back! Been back a few times since Trust first opened. Last night we hosted our team event here. I love that there are a few new additions to the menu for spring! I think we ordered everything on the menu. My team was really impressed! I also love the addition of the live music! John was our server and he was excellent. Flynn the owner always makes us feel welcome! If you havent checked this place out. Please do so!

3.5 stars. The food was good, but the service and price just weren’t there. My boyfriend and I came in last night at the end of happy hour for dinner and some drinks. There was an event going on outside, but they were able to seat us outside still. The noise of the group didn’t bother me, but perhaps that’s why our service wasn’t on point so to speak, and that I didn’t excuse. Their happy hour goes til 7 and has cocktails for 7 and 9 dollars, discounted wine and beer, and some of their food items are 2 dollars off. My boyfriend and I were able to squeeze in a few drinks before the specials ended. He started with the Helping Hand, which I quite liked but could not taste any of the whiskey. I had the Fall To Grace. Normally I love any cocktail with St. Germaine but I could not taste any of that or the pear vodka, only grapefruit vermouth, so that was a miss. We started with the bacon and date croquettes which were delicious, very creamy and tons of flavor in each bite with a really good dipping sauce that was maybe kind of like an apple butter. For dinner we split the short rib ravioli and the fig and serrano flat bread. I ordered the Helping Hand cocktail and my boyfriend switched to a Blood & Sand. It took them a while to bring out the second round of drinks and when they did they brought out the wrong cocktail for me. I’m an anxious person, and while the food was tasty, spending it wondering if and when my drink will arrive really put a damper on my meal and of course it didn’t make it until I finished my last bites of food and didn’t really want it any more. My boyfriend really liked his Blood & Sand although it didn’t taste like the traditional cocktail. Both our main dishes were tasty. The ravioli is not a big serving, which for 23 dollars I would have hoped for slightly bigger or more ravioli. The flatbread felt larger. I really enjoyed the serrano ham but parts of the crust were a little heavy on the fig spread. All in all I enjoyed my meal, but it could have been a lot better, had my drink arrived on time or the food portions been a little larger. Five stars for the croquettes, everything else was about a 3.

I tried out this restaurant yesterday for my birthday. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. The ambiance is «happening» without being too rowdy or noisy. I was not satisfied with the vodka choices and the Belvedere they served me seemed to be watered down considering I was drinking it straight. My wife is a beer aficionado and was happy with the draft choices as they had some local brews. David at the bat was efficient if not too friendly. I had a cocktail at the table which included vodka & sweet tea, which was great; it was not too sweet. The scotch selection was uninspired. We then moved to a table for dinner. The croquette and burrata appetizers were fantastic. The sweet & savory croquettes were perfectly fried and the goat cheese melted in my mouth. The vinegar on the burrata was not too heavy or syrupy. For dinner I had the hanger steak. The temperature was exactly as I ordered it(medium rare) and was expertly & subtly seasoned. I tend to like my steak with just a little salt and so I was pleasantly surprised. However the steak was tough. The potato wedges side dish was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I tried the brownie dessert, which was dry and bland. I’d skip it next time. Andrei our server provided excellent service and was knowledgeable about both the food and the drinks. Overall it’s a great addition to the Gables dining scene.

It was Sunday morning and my best friend and I were trying to find a new spot for brunch and we are so glad that OpenTable led us to Trust & co! The service was fantastic and the food was even better. Their champagne bottles are half priced when you order an entrée so we made sure to take full advantage of that. I ordered the NY Breakfast Sandwich and it was honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. The bacon was so crispy and the egg was cooked perfectly. She ordered the Pork Belly Benedict and didn’t stop talking about it. It was apparently so delicious that she forgot to save me a piece to try. One of my other favorite parts is the décor. Trust is very hip and rustic looking. I will definitely be going back. I can’t wait to try their dinner !

This place is right in front of Fritz and Franz. The décor is on point and there’s a large bar area with lots of televisions. I like that there’s couches around the bar too. The service was good and everyone was very attentive. Honestly the food was average. I had the short ribs as an appetizer and they were a little over cooked. I ordered them medium so I suggest going medium rare on those. I enjoyed the seasoning though. My entrée was the Trust Burger and it’s pretty good. The meat was cooked to order and it was a good size. My only problem was that the drinks were expensive. I had a Texas mule and it was good, but NOT $ 14.00 good. Where are we South Beach? I say they make their cocktails $ 10 – 12 depending on the liquor.

Went for drinks and had a dinner reservation. We sat at the bar which was totally empty at 730 on Saturday evening. The cocktails are $ 14 each! So we ordered a couple cocktails. The bartenders were ok but were relentless with up selling appetizers right away. It was a turnoff. The drinks were about average and not worth the high price. I would expect more for that price. Based on that we decided to dine elsewhere. Bottom line is that the price value perception is just not there. I personally don’t think this establishment will survive the Coral Gables market if they don’t get their act together.

I went to Trust & Co. on a Thursday night for a New Time Sips and Selfies event. I had a great time. Didn’t get to try the food but I had a few of their drinks and they were all delicious. It was a packed house because there was a mix of customers. The restaurant had the New Times event folks and the regular customers all in the same general area. The«Black Eyed Susan» was delicious. This was one of the cocktails being offered. The bar was packed but Luis the bartender was fast and he spent the night running around in order to satisfy all customer needs. Luis was very nice and kept a smile on his face at all times. For the most part I was drinking beer(Green Flash IPA). Luis would always bring me fresh frozen mug every time I ordered a new IPA and that was nice. There’s nothing like drinking a cold IPA out of a frozen mug. The restaurant is huge and the bar sits right at the center. I was next to a lady that dropped her glass of beer on the floor and the glass shattered all over the place. The restaurant staff were quick and immediately scooped up all the shattered glass and also cleaned and dried the floor so that customers won’t slip and fall. The bathrooms are really nice and clean. There’s enough space to walk to the restrooms without interrupting those that are dining. It’s almost like a wide open air hallway that leads right to the restroom area. You can find off-street parking and pay the meters or you can just park in the garage located across the street near Fritz and Franz. The signage was nice and bright so you can’t miss this place at night. The area is very popular because there’s all kinds of cool restaurants and bars such as Cibo Wine Bar and Tarpon Bend. Overall great experience and I need to come back to try their food. I recommend grabbing drinks from Luis the bartender because he’s just a sweetheart and you can’t go wrong by having him serve you drinks. Thank you Trust & Co. for a wonderful Thursday evening.

Today my family and I had the pleasure of having brunch at Trust & Co. In Coral Gables. First off I want to say that the location is relaxing and beautiful. I don’t go much to the Gables area when looking for restaurants but I am definitely going to start. Parking was easy as we parked across the street from the restaurant at the city garage and paid only $ 2.00 for about two hours. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Today, being a cool Sunday morning we chose to sit outside. Our server Julia was outstanding, not just her but the other staff as well. Very attentive refilling the water glasses and our drinks. I was pleased to learn that they make their own simple syrups for their cocktails and specialty drinks. My favorite being the lemon lime and believe it or not the sage. They also get their products from local growers, such as the seafood from key west, breads from Zak the baker, etc. and you can taste the freshness of the food. we started our meal with the bacon & dates croquettes, delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered the great northern white bean dip with flatbread made in the house. I ordered the short rib hash, I am not a sunny side up egg person but my dish was so delicious with all the ingredients that the egg blended well and took it up a notch. My husband ordered an omelette which he said that he had never tasted an omelette so fresh. My son ordered the steak and eggs and he too was very impressed with the presentation and the taste of his dish. All I can say is that we are definitely going back for dinner. Chef Pablo Zitzmann came over to see how everything was and I appreciate him taking the time to do so. Highly recommend Trust & Co. You won’t be sorry. For those that work in the Gables area, they have happy hour Monday through Friday with some yummy drinks. I had the grapefruit crush, it was delicious but being that we were outdoors and kind of chilly I couldn’t finish my drink.

This restaurant is the perfect example of why I need a half star option. It is a 3.5 but I rounded down since nothing really stood out. Went on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago so they were still very new. They were pretty empty when we got there around 730 and filled up a little by the time we left but it was by no means packed. Started off with some oysters, king crab, and croquettes which were all good. Then, the 2 guys ordered and enjoyed the burger. I got the mussels which were fine, giant mussels but not a lot of them. My girlfriend got the salmon and it was so tiny her husband asked when the second half was going to be served ;) we had the alfajore for dessert and it was ok. Overall the food was fine/good but prices and portion size seemed off and nothing was excellent. It’s a good space with nice TVs. Would go back if there was a game on to watch in an upscale spot.

Hmm where should I begin?! It’s no surprise I would find this place through Unilocal.I follow Unilocalmiami on Instagram and saw posts of this new kid on the block. So I dragged my best friend to come with me and try it out! As soon as we walked in, we immediately fell in love with the décor. It’s very modern, lots of open space inside with a beautiful bar right in the middle. They also have outside seating but we opted to sit inside since it was pretty chilly out. We were greeted promptly and asked our server what he recommended for drinks. We decided to go for the Belmont breeze, not sure exactly what it had inside other than whiskey but it was soooo good! It had the right amount of sweet that definitely made the whiskey stand out. Now for the food. Everything was incredibly tasty. We had a little bit of everything appetizer wise so we were able to enjoy as much as possible. The salmon tartar & the bacon and dates croquettes were my favorite. The salmon tartar had a bit of a spice and the croquettes were accompanied by a sweet sauce. Both top picks. We also had the charcuterie table, which was good, pretty average selection of meats and cheeses and we also tried the pork belly. It was cooked to perfection, tender also accompanied by a homemade sauce. This is a great addition to the coral gables area. We were made aware they were going to start serving brunch Saturday and Sunday’s and I can’t wait to come back to try!

Trust & Co. is a new spot in the Gables that opened up about a couple of weeks ago. Walking in, my first impression was«hey this place is really nice». I love the décor and not for nothing, but the bathroom sink is pretty spiffy too! I had to wait for my other 3 friends(girls night) to arrive so I sat at the bar. The bartender was very prompt in greeting me and asking me if I would like anything to drink. After the girls arrived, we sat down at a table. It did take a while for someone to acknowledge us and I had to ask the gentleman who was refilling water who our server was. When the server came, he apologized for the delay due to he was unaware that we had been seated in his section. That and the dessert, which I will get to later on, were honestly my only ehh parts of the experience. So let’s get to the good stuff! the Food! for appetizers we ordered the pork belly, which came with pickled beets and a bitter green salad. It was good, but I wished it was just a tad crisper. We also ordered the salmon tartar, which was delicious! It had such a great spice to it. And the final appetizer was the bacon and dates croquettes, which had of course dates and bacon, but also manchengo! Yummy! Slap some of that house made membrillo compote and *bam* perfection! For my main meal I ordered the Kalbi short rib. It’s served with a citrus slaw and was my favorite! The short rib came with a spicy sauce that just made my day. I even stole some of my friends fries to scoop up the sauce that was left lol. One of My friends had order the trust burger, which I tried and really enjoyed. It’s a blend of short rib, chuck and brisket. Medium cooked is the best with the yummy fries I used for my sauce. Now the dessert is where things got confusing lol. I looked up the picture here in Unilocal of the alfajor and it looked amazing so we decided to order it. What we got was not the alfajor, but rather what tasted and looked like a crème brûlée. We asked why it looked nothing like the picture and he hostess just said that it was the alfajor, but that the chef got creative with the presentation. Trust me, it was not an alfajor. So that was my other ehh moment. Now just because I had those ehh moments doesn’t mean I won’t be back, because I most definitely will. The food was amazing and they have happy hour from 4 – 7 Monday-Friday. On Wednesdays they have ladies night that continues on from happy hour and Thursday 50% off all wine bottles under $ 100.00! Sold me!

This place has true potential, it really does. The food is pretty decent and full of flavor. Unique yet yummy options to choose from. The ambience has a relaxed and cool vibe. Great bar and beautiful décor. I went during happy hour, which is 4−7p Monday through Friday. They don’t have a happy hour menu printed for customers, yet, and it seemed they weren’t too sure what the specials are, with the exception of $ 2 off drinks. Not a big whoop. I went for a smoker old fashion, which was a great cocktail to go with. Came out to $ 12 with the happy hour pricing, so originally $ 14. A bit pricey. My friend and I decided to start with the croquettes to share. Absolutely delicious and full of amazing flavors. It’s 5 small croquetta balls, so the portion is small and definitely won’t fill you up. Just enough to taste. Next, we decided on sharing the Serrano and Fig flatbread. Amazing! I would definitely be back again for it. Came out to $ 10 with happy hour pricing, which I thought was fair. Lastly, we split the burger. At this point we were pretty full, but it still hit the spot. Flavor was good, but the pattie was smaller than I thought. It fell short of a gastropub style burger, but still good. Added manchego cheese, so that made all the difference. As for the staff, they’re very friendly and attentive, but a little over the top. I get that this is a new restaurant and they want to make a good impression, they just seem a little too eager to get you to like the place. I think their food is able to speak for itself. I would love to see this place extend their HH hours, or drop the prices. That would keep me coming back for more. They’re starting brunch soon, so I’ll be interested to see how that goes. I wish them the best of luck and hope they do well!

It’s a beautiful restaurant in the heart of coral gables. I can see it becoming the next big thing for the happy hour crowd! Went in this past weekend for dinner and the most notable thing besides the rustic chic décor was that it was slammed for opening weekend. Wait staff was on point. They didn’t skip a beat at refilling water, retiring dirty plates, etc. The food was good but nothing jumped out and screamed omg this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I tried several things since we were in a group and they were about half hit, half miss. The peach beet salad and the heirloom tomato salad were two of my favorites along with the baked chicken. While the burrata, croquettes, and short rib ravioli left me unimpressed. The desserts were also underwhelming. Overall i would definitely give this place another chance. It’s only opening weekend and I know they plan to switch up the menu seasonally. I’m rooting for you trust!

I just happened to stumble upon this new restaurant 2 days after the grand opening, and I’m so glad we stopped in! The service was phenomenal from the hostess to our waitress. They did not skip a beat, and the manager stopped by to introduce himself(always a nice touch). The menu is simple but diverse enough to accommodate anyone’s taste. We started with their famous old fashion(highly recommended) and 12 oysters. We also shared a beet a fig salad for an appetizer and the half chicken for an entrée. Both were extremely flavorful and very fresh ingredients. To finish we had a delicious coconut flan(soooo good!!) Honestly I was very impressed they had it so together after only being open 2 days. I’ll likely check it out again.
