Always great sushi. Very fresh and flavorful every time. Eggrolls are very good. Seems that the owners are always on site and willing to make every experience a good one

This is my favorite «go to» takeout spot (lunch or dinner) and I sometimes order from them a few times a week. Excellent sushi (great rice which can make or break a roll!), thinly sliced sashimi, and a great variety of appetizers and noodle dishes we seem to come back for each time. The veggie spring rolls, pad woon sen and Carly Roll are some of our favorites.
The owners are delightful and kind and always make you feel like the most important customer of the day. Don’t hesitate — they’re fast, friendly and serve excellent food.

Average neighborhood restaurant. More take-​out than eat in. Quantity as opposed to quality or presentation. Sushi is a craft and not a trade. Here it is more trade. Tried a few traditional Chinese dishes and they were mediocre.

The happy hour deals are great but they end at 3. All their curries and Pad Thai are the bomb! I haven’t try their sushi and bento boxes yet so I can’t say about these yet.

Food is slightly above average. What pushed this from a three to a four rating is the speed of delivery. Orders are taken and delivered correctly and promptly. As far as delivery options go this is one of the better in Coral Springs.
They make a good spring roll and the tempura shrimp sushi roll is nice also.

Food is very good. Delivery is super fast, usually within 20 minutes!!!
I’ve tried several things in the menu, love the pad Thai and smoked salmon roll.
Kids always ask to order from here.
I even made up a roll and they keep it on file for me!
Owners are very nice and friendly!

This has become my absolute favorite sushi spot! Convenient since my office is in the same plaza and my boyfriend lives down the street!
I won’t lie, when I first started going to Spikey Ty I wasn’t crazy about their menu. My favorite is salmon and they don’t have a ton of salmon choices BUT the salmon choices they do have are out of this world.
They are beyond fresh. Probably the freshest sushi restaurant I’ve tasted so far! The rolls at Spikey Ty are not drenched in sauces which I love since you are able to taste the quality of the fish. I am a sushi lover of you couldn’t already tell!
The owners are SO kind and friendly! Family owned business and successful one at that. They know me by now and we giggle at how often I go! That’s how good it is.
The restaurant is not a luxurious spot. Very chill environment. We do call in orders for pickup just as often as we dine in. They don’t only have sushi! Huge menu filled with Chinese food. I’ve never had but my boyfriend has and never complains. Like I said we are there quite often!
I’ve seen families with young kids, business men on lunch break, and teenagers all eat there before. Very friendly and welcoming to all. There’s really no constructive criticism I could give. I love everything about Spikey Ty! Even their bathrooms are always clean!
Parking has never been a problem and prices are fair. I’ll sometimes drive from Boca just because I’m craving some Crazy Larry and Phoenix roll. My two ‘go-​tos’!! I’ve tried just about everything but I always go back to those two. My boyfriend likes chicken rolls even though we allllll know that’s not really sushi!!! So he appreciates the Evergreen Roll. It’s literally tempura chicken, rice, seaweed and avacado! Whatever makes him happy. As long as we get to go to Spikey Ty!

Only one word to describe this place. AMAZING! All my friends rave about how good the food is here, but I’m not typically a huge fan of Asian food or of trying new things.
Our kitchen is under construction so I’m not able to cook. We’re beyond tired of pizza and were looking for something different and who would deliver, so we called Spikey Ty. The woman on the phone was super nice and HONEST! We wanted to try some rolls, but she said they were best when eaten in the restaurant. Our food took all of 20 min to get delivered. Everything was hot and extremely fresh! Everything was delicious! Now we’re hooked!

This place was an incredible find! Just moved and missed my old Thai place in NJ. This was close to identical it’s scary. Yay! I can start eating Thai again! I will def recommend any and all friends to this place.

Very small location, nothing fancy but food is very tasty and totally worth it, large portions!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Spikey Ty… I was very hungry after my gym workout… I ordered quite a bit… I had a salmon skin hand roll, soft shell crab hand roll, chicken & shrimp Mongolian lunch, 2 egg rolls and a volcano roll…
The waitress came by and said you must be very hungry…
I reminded her I just came from the gym and obviously I’m the size of a freight train…
Great great small casual café style sit down spot

We are pretty discriminating when it comes to Asian food and I would place this as one of my favorites in the area. We used to live around the corner and have since moved a bit further away. Though we have never dined in, every item we’ve ever ordered was fantastic. Perhaps the most impressive experience was ordering a sushi boat for a dinner party. Our guests vaporized the entire boat and raved about the quality of the sushi. Their prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and the food delicious!
I can’t imagine one could ever be disappointed in their experience here!

The best Asian food in the neighborhood. I can’t say one bad thing about this place. I take my dad here all the time and it’s like tradition to go have our dad/​daughter dinners. Everything here is very good and super affordable that we kinda go crazy and order everything. The rolls all taste fantastic as well, really can’t go wrong with anything you order here.
Staff I believe are all family, very sweet and friendly people. Inside is clean and they have enough space. Lunch time it does tend to get busy because all locals love this place. You can order takeout as well and I promise the quality is not any less than when you dine in. There’s a great car wash few doors down I go to a lot then just come here to eat while they clean it.
I would definitely recommend their egg rolls, kanisu (apologize if I spelled it wrong), honey garlic chicken is phenomenal. Ohh and if you like something a tad spicy then the Mongolian beef will satisfy you. So if you’re close by definitely come by, you won’t be disappointed.

Egg rolls were good. Shrimp tempura was good. Also ordered chicken fried rice. Was horrible. No veggies. Chicken was very gamey. Rice has no flavor. I was in shock.

Excellent Thai dishes here, and really reasonable lunch special prices and portions. I’ve had their red curry and their basil entrees, both with tofu. Tofu is cooked perfectly and entrees are flavorful and filling. My boyfriend loves their chicken teriyaki with extra sauce, and he’s picky with Chinese food. He also loves their tempura cheesecake, so much that sometimes he craves it. Wish they delivered down to Tamarac, but they’re not too too far away so that’s okay.

If you find yourself in Coral Springs or Parkland, FL. You want a quick Asian meal? This is the place to be. It’s a take out Thai place but they also make sushi as well. Their delivery is a bit slow so I would recommend pick up option more. They also have 3 – 4 tables if you want to seat there and dine in.
They are quick and efficient in cooking and you will be out of there in no time. The owners are very nice and polite. They symbolize a good local take out place which cares about the customer. The restaurant is simple yet clean. I like their fried rice it reminds me of homemade fried rice. I get them with shrimp. I have ate their sushi rolls as well. They are decently priced and they make them fresh.
Spikey Thai is located on the Main Street of Coral Ridge Drive from the past few years and has become a local favorite.~

Excellent food and service… Cashew chicken is my favorite with the fried ice cream to finish.

A co worker and I split chicken chow mien and Mongolian beef. Both just very average. Got the pad Thai and it was super weird so we sent it back and got chow mien instead and they brought it quick.

When I moved to the most northwestern part of Coral Springs a year ago, I had my doubts of finding a decent restaurant that was part of a shopping plaza (Coral Springs seems to be made up of only shopping plazas and older strip malls). Spikey Ty erased those doubts and consistently proved their food and service make for a fantastic business to support.
My go-​to takeout/​delivery standard is always the panang beef curry. First, the serving is huge! I should knock on my neighbor’s door to share, that’s how much they give. Of course, I love their panang curry so much that I would never share it with anyone… not even if their life depended on it. (That’s right, I love their panang THAT much.)
The carrots are cut a little big, but they make up for it with the loading up of bamboo shoot – like it was going out of style. And I don’t mind that at all. Of course, what seals the deal is the perfect blend of their curry and spice. I have low– to zero tolerance when it comes to the spicy level, but Spikey Ty does it just right. (As if they wouldn’t?)
I mostly order takeout, rarely delivery, and yet to dine in. Each time I walk in, I’m always greeted with a friendly smile and «we’re genuinely glad you’re here» attitude that create such an inviting environment. I’ll have to do dine-​in next. They’re so appreciative, friendly, and attentive over the phone and in person, I can’t begin to imagine how much more of that they can be while I’m eating in front of them. My head might explode just thinking about it.
I’ve also tried their honey garlic chicken. If I should ever stop liking panang beef curry (which is never), I’d choose to be in a food coma with this dish.
If you’re like me and are hesitant to explore a storefront restaurant in one of the gazillion strip malls and shopping plazas that make up Coral Springs, don’t hesitate to go to Spikey Ty. It’s worth the stop. And stay. Until closing time.

I keep coming back. It’s my new go-​to Chinese takeout place. Their honey garlic chicken dinner deal is the best! So much food! And this place is even better than the others because of the added Thai and sushi items.
The only thing I would say is the prices are a little higher than average.
