I highly recommend Peaceful Nature Massage! I have been a customer for the past 3 years and have massages with at least different 4LMT over the years. Your choice of aromatherapy is included in the price of the massage. Each LMT provided me with a relaxing but effective massages with the deep pressure that I prefer. I always need them to target my shoulders and neck. I walk away relaxed, destressed, and happy.

I had my first massage at Peaceful Nature Massage yesterday, as a(belated) treat for Mother’s Day. It was a great experience overall! I was welcomed by reception, and offered tea, water, or cucumber water. I was offered a warm neck wrap while I filled out the form for first time guests. I was welcomed back to the massage room after the perfect amount of time to relax for a few minutes without feeling like I was waiting around. Karissa took me to the room, and had me sit down while we talked through my sheet and what I wanted. I wanted deep tissue massage for my upper and lower back, and regular Swedish with firm pressure everywhere else. It was a 90-minute massage, which is really the perfect amount of time for both focus on a specific area and full-body relaxation. She asked if I wanted a heating pad and said she could add it any time if I changed my mind, and to let her know if I wanted more or less pressure at any time. Karissa did a fantastic job with firmness and really worked out lots of knots. Then, she gave me a super relaxing massage the rest of the time. She didn’t talk throughout the massage(thank you!!). When it was over, she had me relax a minute and get up slowly to not get light-headed. When I was dressed, she was waiting at the door with a glass of water, and a reminder to drink lots of water that day. At reception, I was given water to take along, and a few chocolates as a treat! It was wonderful in every aspect!!!

After having some sore muscles and back pain, I decided a deep tissue massage was the way to go. I was scheduled with Tameeka. When I went in, you fill out a form requesting areas of focus and if you want light, firm, or deep pressure. I indicated my lower back and that I wanted deep pressure. It’s a deep tissue massage, right? When I went in, she asked me which areas I wanted to focus on, and I said lower back because I had knots in it. At first I was covered in heavy blankets, even though it’s in the midst of summer and the room wasn’t particularly cooled. Then she piled on a heating pad. I tolerated the heating pad for a few minutes, but when it was obvious she had no intention of removing it and I was sweltering, I asked her to take it off. She sneered. After ten minutes of very light pressure, I asked her nicely to please use deep pressure. She did, for about 5 minutes. Then we went back to light pressure. After she went over(lightly) every part of my body except for my lower back, I asked her to try to work the knots out of my lower back. She told me «oh, they’re gone.» I could still feel the knots in my muscles with my hand, so I informed her they were not, and to please focus on that area. She sneered, and then told me we were out of time. She ran out of the room like it was on fire. In my opinion, deep pressure for a deep tissue massage is not an unreasonable request. Also, please don’t ask 2 times where to focus on if you will completely avoid that area. I’ve had many a massage in my day, and this was one of the worst. I will not be going back. At least they gave me a 15% discount when honestly answered the question, «how did it go?» I wasted 15% less money that way, but save yourself 100% of the money and go somewhere else.

I’ve only been once — but I will be back again. I went for a deep tissue massage — stating my tension is held in my neck and shoulders. The masseuse(can’t remember her name now — tall girl) was very receptive to this and I felt did a good job of focusing on those areas and covering the rest of my body in 60min. At the end I was wanting more and wished I’d bought the 90min! Overall a great massage with actually lasting effects for the next few days. The rooms were quiet, private, w/scenic drops on the walls, warmed w/a little space heater, and I believe nature sounds playing in the background. Quite relaxing. I can’t wait to go back. Oh, and if you’re a parent they have ‘sitter’ services for like $ 5 or something. I didn’t use this service but it’s very thoughtful for the busy mom/dad needing a massage too. Enjoy
