Pizza Hut

Our server was great and the lunch time buffet was good. They kept fresh pizza on the table and the salad was fresh. Would choose this for a lunch time sit down with a friend anytime.

Death, Taxes and the Pizza Hut Buffet…
My kids and I were on the way to a movie. In the negotian process of driving down germantown road, we settled on the Pizza Hut — almost not sure they still had a buffet. But really the novelty of a eat in pizza hut is worth the stop. I have to tell you there were far more people eating in the pizza hut than I ever expected. The salad bar and pizza buffet were so familiar looking, I realized how important the highland street pizza hut was in my youth. I also remembered that 4.99 sticks in my head as the original buffet price… could it really only be 5.99 now? Well I have to recommend the pizza hut, in a few years I fear eat in pizza huts will go the way of the pteradactyl.
The salad bar was what you expect and they brought so many pizzas out while we were there that I actually had pizza too hot to eat on my plate — was pizza ever supposed to be too hot to eat? Whether you are a fast food anthropologist, or just want an inexpensive option for a salad and pizza — you owe it to your kids to take them to this slice of americana. Do the likes of memphis pizza café, pete & sams, et al need to worry about a suffering market share — absolutely not. But i will tell you the next time i am on germantown road around lunch and the kids are arguing about where to go — we will probably end up at the pizza hut!

It’s a Pizza Hut, and the food is on par with what I would expect from the chain. Unfortunately this restaurant is old, and not updated. In addition it’s not the most clean location I’ve ever visited. Not the worst, either, just not great. I just leave the place not eager to come back, which is a bit sad a Pizza Hut offers a somewhat different pizza product than anyone else in the area.

The place looks older and the carpet is pretty worn but the floor has obviously been vacuumed and the tables are clean. More telling the food on the salad bar looks fresh and all the observable service areas are clean.
I see they earned a 90 on their last health department.
Last impression was a very good one. I was picking up 3 pies to go I ordered via the internet. The gentleman opened all three boxes to me just to verify the accuracy of the order. Little things like that reveal that the culture of this store is good and I am comfortable assuming most of the un-​seeable aspects of the business are right.
Respectfully, the single star from Kevin on 9÷26÷2011 should not be the basis of ones decision to eat here.

First let me say that Pizza Hut Pizzas are my favorite. I just wanted to order 15 pies for a pick up or delivery for the next day, but the local store that is just 5 min away cant do this. All delivery orders must be called into the «call line». When placing an order like this I want the comfort of knowing someone is responsible and will take care of my needs. i just don’t get that comfortable feeling when I’m forced to make the order on the phone and repeat things over and over hoping it «all» is taken care of. I’ve got to call in today at 11:00 to confirm an 11:15 order. Yeah, that’s right, I cant get me pies delivered at 11:00 because they don’t open until 11:00. I hope that they can get to me at 11:15.
