After having Kaiser for many years, I decided to move away from the HMO type of care — which is used to serving thousands of customers. Instead I chose to support a local small business close to home — for the personal attention. What drew me in at first was the great landscaping the place has. It just looks inviting. — Before my visit — Just made a quick call & spoke to Christina @the front desk who set me up with my 1st appointment — Got a phone call/voicemail reminding me the day before the appointment in English & Spanish… my name is Jose & I hadn’t setup a preferred language. Now each time they call they default to Spanish. :P — 5 appointments in total — * 1st was the Xray & consultation, * 2nd was Hygienist Part 1 of 2 ‚ * 3rd was Hygienist Part 2 of 2, * 4th was Fillings Part 1 of 2(Right Side), * 5th was Fillings Part 2 of 2(Left Side). At each visit I got a feel for the vibe in the place. Pretty relaxed, easy going, but professional, pretty friendly overall. The fact that there were 5 appointments surprised me. But I wasn’t bothered. The stars/pros were the Hygienist Carrie & the Dentist. Carrie: what a sweetheart — passionate — fun to talk to — and willing to go the extra mile to educate me on my oral care. Dentist: Unlike most of the Kaiser folks the Dentist here, Dr. Riley, seemed to really care about the quality of service he gives. Each time he offered to help with any concerns I have, if things don’t feel right, or need adjusting, etc. The impression I got from him is that he’s young & aiming to please. You can tell he’s offering the best service he can out of his clinic in Cornelius. Thanks Dr. Riley for being part of our town. Look forward to my next visit in October with Carrie(hopefully)!
