Great store, you need to look deep in the racks. One of my favorites in town!

Comparing it to my favorite thrift stores(Goodwill and Value Village), it comes up short. Staff was nice but something about the layout and location… On our first(and probably only) visit, my daughter found a sweater she absolutely adores.

Much like other second-hand, used goods stores such as Goodwill or ReStore this Salvation Army shop has some interesting finds to be had. I will say however their shop is much better laid out, larger and less cluttered. Prices are decent and comparable to the Goodwill store down the street. It’s always worth it to peruse the shelves of such stores because you never know what you could find for cheap compared to the price bran new. And of course it’s always good to reuse than to buy new in my opinion. The store is run by some friendly and helpful staff with an all around positive attitude in general. One of the most interesting things I saw here though was the«War Cry» publication of the Salvation Army which takes on a theme changing its entire layout every time a new issue comes out. They really take the word army in their name seriously and you don’t realize it til you see this. Nonetheless they do a good job of being there without being over-the-top, in your face about their beliefs and yours.

I’ve always been impressed with this store. I’ve tried a lot of thrift stores, and sometimes even drive as far as Freedom Drive to the originals, but for my time and money, I almost always find something better here. The prices are very good, they are pretty well organized, and they do offer that weekly clothing deal mentioned in another review(that people *really* take advantage of). I notice many more racks of Women’s clothes than Men’s though. The only real problems I’ve run into are minor. This store should reconsider some of the things they’re putting on the shelves/racks. At this store, I’ve come across shirts that look as though they were accidentally dropped in a bucket of Clorox, and/or drawn on by kindergarteners. Yet 5 shirts over, you’ll find one that has clearly never been worn or washed. They should not automatically hang everything on the rack. At least give it an inspection to make sure a person would actually pay for it. Otherwise, this store should donate it to the overcrowded Goodwill across the street, and let them deal with it :) On the same note, I came across a pile of heavily abused SOCKS for sale that nearly made me throw up. We should never live in a world where we’re buying used socks/underwear. That’s sickening, and they should not be selling something like that. In my mind it’s a health hazard. Also, some signage is baffling. A lot of electronics here are marked«no guarantees/no returns»(if they don’t work). But I find it really hard to trust that they are tested before being placed out on the floor. And with the plethora of employees you can hear rollicking behind the«employees only» door, they have plenty of time to address both of my concerns. Even if they didn’t fix these issues, this place still qualifies as the best thrift store in Huntersville & Cornelius. The two other big name stores are much too hard to navigate, and lack those amazing finds that I get here.

This is one of my Favorite Thrift Stores!!! First, This is a Large store! Four and a half years ago I bought a pair of jeans(worn over 200 times by me — I really am counting)) and a Camel Hair Jacket(that had been Tailored for someone who was exactly my size) and 50% off on Wednesdays — Wow! It was super cheap enough to start with SA prices S.A. — Yesterday I almost bought a cool pair of the Darkest pair of Green/Black jeans I have ever seen! If you are out for Thrift, a Good Will store is just down the street, very close to this store!

Holy crap! Screw it if it’s a long drive from Dilworth to Cornelius, this is officially my new favorite thrift store to go to! I was driving around Cornelius and saw this in an unassuming strip mall and felt compelled to go in for I am a girl on a budget. This Salvation is absolutely huge and I now know where all the Lake Norman-ites are donating their stuff! I like to jam when I shop and they had a mix of hip hop and gospel music to raise my spirits for all the good deals I found. I found so many good buys – beautiful wool Ralph Lauren pants for $ 3.99, jeans for $ 2, a summer time top half off which brought it down to $ 2, two pairs of shoes for $ 12 and a Vera Bradley scarf for $.50 — walked outta there spending under $ 22 – love it! Most of the clothes I was sorting through were swanky label names I’ve seen time and time again and they had a pretty sweet shoe selection including Kenneth Cole, Nine West and other quality names. Their furniture selection is sick as well — the entire front of the store is loaded up with furniture and I wanted to plop down on one of the love seats and kick up my heels on the matching ottoman! They have a different tag of the day sale which leaves anything with that color tag 50% off and every Wednesday ALL clothes are 50%. Gotta love brand nice prices for super cheap. Plus my money is going to a good cause, I love shopping for charity! Peace out Good Will, Salvation Army has my heart(and my money) now!
