Corolla Pizza & Deli

The pizza was great! We picked it up and the only negative thing I can say was the parking lot was dark. True homemade crust, did not look or taste pre made.

The guys that work here are super friendly and the pizza tastes great fresh out of the oven!

The pizza itself (flavor wise) tasted good to us and it arrived in the time frame we were told (45 min to an hr).
Really bad thing is it was barely warm when it arrived. We ate as soon as we he brought it and was really disappointed at how it could have been that cool especially since we are only a mile at most away from them.
The pizza was not cooked consistently either which isn’t a big deal to us but to some it might be. It was gummie on some pieces and others it seemed to be cooked thru.
I’m a little surprised at all the great reviews on this and that people are saying this is the best pizza place in the OBX to eat. We come here every year. This is the first time we’ve had pizza at this place and we come to the OBX often and even if it were hot I can’t see it being the best.

Toppings were delicious and fresh & crust was thin but still soft. Will definitely be ordering from here again. I can see (taste) why this is the top rated pizza place in Corolla!

The best pizza in OBX. Been coming for 5 years and these guys rule. If your eating grab a cold beer at the beer garden next door. Also has a wee winks in plaza that has your basic needs.

Monte Calvo white pizza is sooooo good! It was recommended by the staff as the house specialty and it is incredible. Try it!

Took a little longer than the expected delivery time but was still hot when it got here and tastes yummy.

After spending the day shopping the last thing you want to do is cook, and with this place not only do you get out of cooking but they also deliver! In addition to cooking and delivery the food is amazing!
We ordered six large pies to feed 8 adults and 3 teenagers and it was the perfect amount (four slices each with a half pie left).
The crust is thin but not crispy with the right amount of chew. The «pizza bone» is more breadstick than topping guard.
Highly recommend the chicken pesto pizza with the sweet pickled peppers and the white pizza which has a bit more garlic than most places (which is a good thing in my opinion). The buffalo chicken was different in how they actually use a blue cheese sauce. The Works is a great meat/​veggie option and it’s olive free.
The six pies took about 45 minutes to be delivered and the cost (not a including tip) was about $ 113.
We come to OBX every year and stay in different areas. If/​when we are back in this area I will definitely visit them again!

The guys taking the order were super nice and funny, it cooked quickly so those would be what the stars are for.
Sadly, we ended up throwing it out after one piece. It just had no flavor whatsoever. I wanted to like it but it was limp and tasteless from pepperoni to sauce. It was the only place we had pizza so I have no idea if this place is any better or worse than others nearby.

A friend once described Corolla Pizza as something you would expect to get from the fair. It’s thin, greasy, horrible for you, and oh so good. The pizza is really, really good, although probably not my favorite on the beach. Personally I am partial to the calzone. Pizza dough stuffed with mozzarella, ham, and ricotta served with spicy marinara sauce — sign me up!
Call ahead. Wait time can be long on weekends when everyone is getting into town. It’s pick up only. Your family will thank you. You’re welcome.

Good pizza; definitely the best I’ve had this far north on the OBX. The crust Is light, and neither the pepperoni nor the cheese pizza we ordered was greasy at all. A little pricey (two pies were $ 38), but about par for vacation-​destination pizza. Would definitely order again.
